For some reason that voice screams "salarian" to me.

Sounded more quarian to me.

I don't hear it, but I would be fine if it was. I really like the VA for Hawke; he's really very good.

Yeah, honestly I'm not expecting a lot of quarians to be in on this officially. However, I do think it would not be out of the question to see some scattered around the different ARKs. It would be cool to have one that we work with.

Regardless of the species, it would be nice if he was one of the crew we regularly interacted with. Can someone with twitter ask if Reyes is a crew member (or squaddie since dalinne thinks it could be Liam)? It would be good to get some clarification instead of doing all this speculating, only to find out he's just an NPC that we help out on one mission.

Huh. After reading this I can hear it now...don't know why it sounded french to me at first XD. If anyone can ask if he's a crew member, if he's human etc that would be great!

Sounds like Nicholas Boulton putting on an accent, the vocal timbre is very similar.

He did tweet a link to N7 Day trailer and the latest one to drop. GamerMD83 asked him whether this meant he was in the game, but he only replied that his "lips were sealed". Most of the voice actors for Andromeda haven't been confirmed yet, so even if he was in the game, he wouldn't be able to legally say anything until Bioware lifts the NDA.

(Then again, he could be under an NDA for entirely different reasons... even people who visit Bioware's offices have to sign one)

But yeah, Reyes does sound a lot like him.

I don't think Liam is Reyes. The reasoning behind that seems rather convoluted, in my opinion. As I said in other threads, I still think he sounds quarian, but that could just be wishful thinking on my part as they're my favorite of the existing aliens. Based on that tweet I'm thinking Courtney Wood wrote him (her twitter says she's a writer - don't know whether she writes specific characters) or is a fan - regardless she apparently would like us to see more of him (presumably before launch?)

Which makes me think he's someone we interact with more than just that once. I hope that's the case, because regardless of species, he has a really nice voice. And I may or may not have a bit of a voice kink er, appreciate really good voice acting

I agree with everyone saying Reyes might be Quarian. Reyes might coincidentally be a Spanish surname, but the name also looks properly Quarian to me. It's easy to make up a word and have it accidentally be a word in another language. Not sure I hear the Spanish accent that other people do, but I may need to listen to him a few more times.

I'm highly biased, however, and until we know more, that's my hope/suspicion. :3
