Went back and watched the vid again. Mystery Reyes has a sexy voice. "We'll bang, ok?" What?! I'm shallow Though to be fair, I will indeed "romance" all the available m/m characters... well the humans anyway... keep the scary krogan away from me please

Many seem to believe so...
Other seem not to. I guess I see the points, and will refrain from further judgement until I know more.

I don't think they're even close. Plus Koris simply goes for what sounds rather... British. Not much hiding there. And Raan just has her VA's natural accent. Then you got Reegar, the American accented badass. Quarians having a variety of accents actually seemed more realistic to me. Each ship in the flotilla may have a unique accent that developed over the three hundred years since the exile, or otherwise been derived them from the regional languages/dialects/accents on Rannoch their ancestors originally spoke. There may even be some type of creole being spoken, as Quarians started moving between ships to prevent inbreeding. Of course, we'd not notice half of this, since we're hearing it filtered via translator. Species having different accents, whether they are ship-bound or not, is plausible to me. There are a variety of dialects in the U.S., and that is one country. The quarians lost their whole planet. As for whether he's quarian or not, we'll have to wait and see I guess though I am now really intrigued by this mystery.

What I want?
'Reyes' to be the nickname of a gorgeous romanceable male quarian squaddie or non-squaddie. Everyone decides to call him Reyes because his full Quarian name is way too long and sounds like 'Reyes' could be the short version. Just like the Turian on Noveria whose name was Lilihierax or something and he called himself Li (sounding like Lee)for short.
Who he probably is?
An intriguing and sexy Latino human ,who may or not be a squaddie and may or not be just a recurring supporting character appearing in a couple of missions as help for our Pathfinder.
I know I have been going on and on about a male quarian (romance) but judging from ME history with romanceable male aliens , I have some hope FemRyders might get a male quarian afterall. So far, as far as romance options go we have Liam. FemShep had a Turian ,a Drell even a Prothean one-night stand so it is not far-fetched.

Or maybe it's Reyes vas Tempest, and he really is a Quarian! Quarians all sounded like they had Russian accents. Doesn't fit with Reyes. Not all ,obviously. Remember Kal'Reegar? Also I am 1000% sure I heard full on British accents in Tali 's loyalty mission. So no, not all Quarians sound like Tali.

Reyes could be: A) A new Spanish/Latino character A quarian C) Liam (yes, that's me, I WILL INSIST UNTIL THE DAY I DIE HE IS REVEALED) In addition, Reyes is: -sexy NPC you can find in the Crime Planet
-sexy crewmember in the Tempest
-sexy a squadmate

I'm gonna go with B. quarian, because that would be awesome. Also, D. other. Since the old head of security got kicked out and went all Aria, Reyes became the new head of security - hence why we're helping him investigate stuff. Why put a quarian in charge of security? Because he's a badass, that's why. Like, Reegar's got nothin' on this mofo.
In all seriousness, he's probably something boring like a human Tempest crew member. I suppose I can forgive him for being not as cool as my improbable totally possible fan theory because, he sounds like, well, that.

After listening to it again, I think it could be french... the way he says the word "killer" especially. I doubt it's a Quarian, though. Although their accent is somewhat inconstant in the other games, their voice - even over comms - still always had that "under water" quality too it, which I don't hear here at all.

My money is still on Jon Curry (Zevran Arainai VA). The line..."it's a start." has that Zevran "bounce" to it, that you could hear in many of Zev's dialogue, throughout DAO. But...still could be wrong. Of course. As for race?? Human most likely, but wouldn't rule out anything yet. Just my .02

Reyes VA so far, sounds like more like a native English speaker going for Spanish language roots. I think he speaks like that on purpose and not because he is a bad VA. But why I don't know.
the name Reyes makes me think human, the voice itself male.
Maybe he's "the human" option for SisRyder like Cora could be for BroRyder. Unless Liam already fits that spot.

I keep struggling to imagine how a male quarian could be designed to be gorgeous, being so covered up as they are. I could ask the same about a female quarian... *ventures into the Tali thread and then slowly backs out* Yeah... and these forums aren't even that bad compared to the old BSN. Anyone here remember "the chemist?" If you don't know what I'm talking about, don't ask. Really. Here's my take on it, as a Tali fan who would likely have romanced her, despite being straight in real life, had she been available to femShep. She has an attractive figure, a beautifully designed suit, a great voice actress with a super cute accent, and, most importantly, a really charming personality. Plus, quarians are my favorite species, because of their culture and backstory, and they're the underdogs of the galaxy and all that. Now, give me a male version of all that (with a unique personality, of course, as long as he's just as likeable), and... Plus, there's something really romantic to me about the idea of falling for someone when you don't know what they look like. Like Psyche and Cupid (even when I read that story as a kid, I got really mad that Psyche just had to go and betray him by looking...). And the fact that we know their faces are vaguely human looking and were once considered universally attractive (according to Javik, anyway) makes that mystery the fun kind.

God their suits tho Why aren't we that stylish?! Quarians were painted in very black and whitein teh trilogy. They were elusive at first and when we finally got to see them more it was mostly the geth wars and that was it. We know very little about their culture apart from what Tali told us and that was really only scratching the surface. I want to hear more about the Quarians! Did they have art? Songs? Are they particularly religious? Were they? It doesn't seem out of the question that a few Quarians would see the opportunity of finding a new home an attractive opportunity. Maybe some Quarians feel that Rannoch is truly lost to them. God I NEED a Quarian in Andromeda BECAUSE I HAVE SO MANY QUESTIONS.

Raan had the most soothing cigarette voice ever. Raan's voice actor popped up in the newest Star Trek film and I was like AAAAAAAAAAAAAAH *points* I want her to be my Grandma, tell me about the spirit of Christmas in front of the fire and all that.
