Reyes Vidal - No longer A Mystery (Official Thread)

I have absolutely zero motivation to side with Sloane over Reyes. She makes it clear she dislikes you, refuses to help you, and everything we see about her rule over Kadara makes her come across as drunk on power and rather incompetent. Her attempt at a colony is a corrupt, violent mess (especially compared to what the Krogan were able to achieve with just as little in the way of resources) and she makes it clear she wants to fight the very Initiative you're working to protect. On top of that, she managed to royally fuck things up with the Angara. Even if I disliked Reyes I would side with him, figuring he couldn't do any worse.

I feel like it could work, even if you don't side with him. He is after all an opportunist, and I feel he would approach you for help regardless of your past, were it mutually beneficial. With Aria, you could just help her for the sake of yourself/the people on Omega, and not her. And you could stand up to her throughout the DLC. They could approach things with Reyes in a similar fashion if they wanted.

Just had the whiskey on the roof scene recently.

This is exactly everything I hoped it would be.

Will there be more content after she lock in the romance with him, when she lets sloane die and they dance etc... or was that the last romance content in the whole game?

What happens if you let Sloane die but also decide to tell Reyes you're through? Does he send an e-mail or anything? And is there an effect on the ending?

I've tried finding a video of what happens if you choose that option but haven't had any luck. If someone can point me toward one that would be much appreciated. :*

Apparently it's totally optional, which is unfortunate because it made my siding with Reyes even more of a no-brainer. I found it and went in and talked to that Asari at the entrance, but then worried I would mess something up if a quest sent me there later (as that had happened elsewhere in the game before) so I reloaded. Right after that I met with Sloane for her meeting with the Charlatan. No mention of the hideout when I took his side and talked to him after.

So I reloaded again where I actually went into the hideout, did the little quest there and talked to people, and it gave me a bit more insight into the Charlatan and his group. When I met with Sloane this time and was given the choice, it made a lot more sense to trust Reyes despite his lying to me. But it's easy to miss, as is the salarian who sends you there for unrelated reasons (didn't even get that quest until after Reyes was already in charge).
