Probably one or two more trailers and a Multiplayer Beta trailer maybe. And 4 more Andromeda Initiative briefings.

If released in March, I would say 3. One showing the inside of the tempest with a few crewmembers. One with brother Ryder similar to what sister Ryder had yesterday. Another one revealing what Liam and Cora look like. I don't know.

Normally, I would say around 2-3 trailers (not including the Andromeda Briefings). But Bioware might show more trailers and gameplays now that they have 'officialy' opened the doors to Andromeda. If so, then we might see a teaser/video every other week. What I do hope they have is some kind of companion trailer.

Maybe we're done now until the end of the year, or possibly something smaller will drop before BioWare take their holiday break.

Another one revealing what Liam and Cora look like. I don't know. Bioware should definitely release additional trailers, where: - They show in detail how the current dialogue system works, by showcasing different results Ryder can get by using each of the potential 4-5 choice options during conversations/cutscenes. - They could do a sneek-peek of out 6-7 permanent squadmates where we have ~15 sec conversation/banter display with each one of them. - They should show us how Tempest looks inside and which locations within we are going to use for different purposes. - Official / big release trailer somewhere in February.

ok, let's do a little CSI:BSN work on this: The best indication of future behavior is past behavior, so if we track the relationship to Dragon Age Inquisition's trailers to its launch against Mass Effect Andromeda, then we can get a sense of where we stand. Source data: bsn.boards.net/thread/715/dragon-age-trailersbsn.boards.net/thread/730/mass-effect-trailerslinkI've summarised the trailer type for comparison purposes, and have used as a placeholder MEA launch date, the rumoured March 21st 2017. Please note that the 'days to launch' numbers account for the 6 week slippage of DAI, a decision taken 120 days before DAI's launch. Also, trailers and announcements tend to gravitate toward conferences and key dates, so some external factors come into play. DAYS to Launch DRAGON AGE MASS EFFECT 645 days MEA Teaser 487 days DAI Teaser
282 days Announce trailer 218 days Announce trailer 195 days Tech demo
134 days Official reveal 123 days Official reveal 97 days Antagonist trailer
110 days Gameplay trailer - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - current date 93 days Gameplay demo
82 days Multiplayer trailer 49 days Character creator 22 days Hero trailer 13 days Cinematic trailers
You can see the 'days to launch' tie up fairly well.
IF Mass Effect Andromeda follows the same trailer/marketing schedule, I would predict the following (days rounded for simplicity):
Days Item Target date Predicted date
100 days Another trailer Dec 11 2016 Dec 14th - Something else before Christmas 90 days Gameplay demo Dec 21 2016 Jan 3rd - Longer Gameplay demo first thing in January 80 days Multiplayer Dec 31 2016 Jan 21st - Multiplayer trailer and/or demo late January 50 days Character Creator Jan 30 2017 Feb 3rd - Character Creator demo in February 21 days Another trailer Mar 01 2017 Mar 1st - Keynote trailer in March 14 days Cinematic trailer(s) Mar 07 2017 Mar 8th - Cinematic trailers coming up to launch 0 days Launch Mar 21 2017 Mar 21st - Launch
Things to look out for:
Dragon Age Inquisition pushed out the launch date by 40 days at Launch minus 120 days, to Launch minus 160, and we're already past that date now. If we don't get a confirmed launch date at the latest by whatever date they release any information in early January, then it won't have a March 21st launch. Nothing else before Christmas or nothing in early January would also indicate a slight slippage. However, barring a major problem, the current marketing schedule points at a pretty safe launch window of March-April-May.

I suppose they will put out AI briefings once a month or so. There are no upcoming events, conventions or the like where bioware would attend? Can't wait for a longer gameplay demo!

Awesome work with this analysis SofaJockey! Thank you, I recognise that it exposes my 'inner nerd' I suppose they will put out AI briefings once a month or so. There are no upcoming events, conventions or the like where bioware would attend? Can't wait for a longer gameplay demo! It would need to be slightly faster to make the schedule, or the last part could just drop at launch... Monthly would be: 1. Nov 1 2. Dec 1 3. Jan 1 4. Feb 1 5. Mar 1 6. Mar 21 Yep, looks on schedule...

I think how many more we get will depend on what they are planning to do with the Andromeda Initiative videos since there are still four more of those to come. I would think there would be at least two more videos not associated with that to show off a longer gameplay segment such as the 30 minute video for Hinterlands for Dragon Age: Inquisition and something to do with Multiplayer as well.
