Paul Jason Meyer @mulwin444Almost 6 years later, even though I've played it probably 30 times by now, this scene still kills and kills hard. It's a great scene because it's earned through 2 games and many hours. @patrickweekes And John Dombrow really made some magic here. Patrick Weekes @patrickweekes@caseydhudson and @macwalterslives both helped nail the moments of that scene, and John Ebenger did the cinematics, not to mention the voice actors. It was definitely a team effort.  yeah saw that moment again recently myself with my latest Shep one of the great magic moments from the ME series. All 4 games have their fair share of them. Yepp. Havent got so much "cold shivers" from any other games except all 4 ME games  ... also the games made me jaded, I have a difficulty playing any other than BioWare games. Thankfully I dabbed into DA series and KOTOR1&2 too. (I still have to play BG:EE and the others) |

Excuse me? Geraltina shudders and runs away screaming like a little girl at the rumors of Darth Revan or Meetra Surik arriving in the general area.
If the SPMMORPG of Witcher 1 ended above DAO or even ME1 in that list, they should seriously rethink their qualifications for that line of work.
I swear to God, if Kingdom Come: Deliverance doesn't beat I'd-rather-not-choose-one-of-two-evils-now-watch-me-do-it-for-three-games-straight it better be a smoking wreck and not what it seems to be.
Actually, wait. On second reading: Jade Empire 71, NwN 40, KOTOR 7...
Oblivion and Morrowind scored very low, I have seen Fallout around the 40 mark, but no Fallout 2, even though FONV makes top fifty and FO3 makes top 20...?!
(XCOM: Enemy Unknown 2012 made an appearance. Right after ME3. How is that an RPG, and how is whoever wrote that actually qualified for gaming journalism?)

I feel like we get one of these lists every 100 pages or so of this thread. I'll never agree with any of them, of course. I think we could easily prune two-thirds of these games from the list simply for not being actual RPGs. I saw Destiny, not only in the top 100, but ahead of several games. Lol. Even better when we do our own lists. Indeed I prefer to make up my own mind as to what games I like. |

It’s impossible to say. Originally, that was the plan, if I recall right.
In retrospect, though, opening up Omega AND Illium (plus Citadel, Tuchanka) might’ve felt too undirected.
We like to open areas gradually to avoid overwhelming folks.
