Guess they can't make clickbaits out of hatred anymore...

I am not entirely sure if the article was being ironic at times. Then again some people do seem to enjoy mundane and -let's be honest- boring tasks in their games. For example there is a laundry stuff pack coming up for Sims 4, so players can wash their dirty clothes... in the game, of course, the real laundry is probably piling up in the meanwhile. Making games more realistic by making them as tiresome as real life contradicts their very purpose, imho, which is to distract me from that shit, but to each his own, I guess.

Hating MEA is so 2017. If you wanna be original, you gotta praise it now lol. Next is who liked it first. Of course I do like the game a lot but I can't say this trajectory was unexpected. Ok the article isn't a love fest but it's mostly positive.

Maybe I'm a "grammar nazi" and a bit elitist, but both the article and the comments made me squint. I feel that "professional" writers should use proper spelling, sentence structure, etc... The comments are full of "fans" who don't seem all that well informed on the series. I know I just described pretty much every article online, but it still annoys me every time.

It is more annoying to see these somewhat positive articles appearing from the same outlets that helped ruin the brand 9 months ago. A bit more honesty, and a bit less hyperbolic click-bait, could've allowed for more balanced public perception of the game.

It should be forgotten and we should move back to the original setting post or pre-ME3 just because it made more sense, motivations for how civilization came to be as we knew it in ME1 had depth and isn't completely asinine like the Andromeda Initiative.

All that said, I'm on board if Andromeda 2 is ever made. Although, it's such a dumbed down universe in contrast to the original one and not just because we're still building up the lore from scratch. This is the LOST of the franchise; it's the "stupid plane-crash island mystery show" and it is dumb. The fact of the matter is, the Andromeda initiative consists of some 20-100k ppl who fucked themselves by going on a needless journey in the wrong direction with no way to go home again, and really, the original setting isn't lost, it's just creatively hard to continue in a satisfying way after ME3 without retcons or subversions which I think is the way they should go, especially now that the man, Casey, is back at the helm of the company.

I had hoped that they would've had the Conduit stashed away secretly on board.
