will this be the case?
I have no doubt in my mind that Sara is a good girl, but it's hard to imagine she so gangster that she can successfully pull off solo missions.
The last girl who tried was Miranda in Sanctuary and she either gets wounded badly or killed. And that wasn't even in a brand new big bad galaxy loaded with unknown threats.

My educated guess is sibling will have their own missions. 1) Bio has made it sound like sibling has a huge impact on the story 2) There's that artwork of sibling training with PC and Liam. Sis probably knows how to fight also. |

Sis probably knows how to fight also. That artwork might not rapresenting the Ryders. If definitely doesn't represent Liam since his hairs are different, based on his icon. The devs tweeted both siblings were trained to eventually become pathfinders. We don't know if the one we don't pick is still capable of going on missions. |

My Sara will definitely be gangster enough to successfully pull off solo missions. Not sure about her pretty boy brother though. He kinda looks like a wimp  My Shepard held her own pretty well too, with or without her squaddies. The fact that she wore actual armor instead of a catsuit probably helped a smidge. Just had to put that out there. Anywho, the idea of sibling Ryder having their own squad is a pretty neat one. Even if they are just a small band of explorers tasked with minor stuff compared to The Pathfinder and their crew. Would be a neat opportunity for crossed paths, moral disputes, rescue missions, etc. if your sibling's team was out there doing similar things, albeit on a smaller scale. But the impression I get is that whatever prevents your sibling from taking over as Pathfinder prevents them from being out in the field. Be it choice or circumstance or whatever. |

If I remember correctly, it had been stated that the sibling of the PC would have suffered some kind of injury or something coming out of cryo and is unable to partake in missions and such, at least for the first part of the game.
I'm guessing he/she will be on board the Nexus, perhaps your liaison in Pathfinder HQ? That's just a total guess.
It would be pretty great, however, if later in the game they are out gathering squad mates and have some interesting tales to tell. It would be fun if for at least one mission (if not the final mission) you could join up with their squad in a Citadel DLC type of event and you could see their team in action!

Do we still remember those things, or are we a bunch of lotus eaters? Play multiplayer, if you want to share the ME experience with anyone else. But imo, adding coop in ME would be a terrible mistake. |

Play through the game co op and found it a really nice and well put together experience. Only thing I really miss about RPGs is being able to play it with someone on the couch next to you and cooperatively work through the story. I mean don't get me wrong I hate online play, I hate playing games with other people, usually, but for one or two good friends and in my youth I enjoyed playing the Conflict series with my Dad. It would be so cool to have you and your sig other able to play through the campaign at the same time. |

If the sibling doesn't become crippled or something it would be nice if in the sequel, depending on their state in your save, they would either have their own squad because they look up to their "Big" sibling for what they did or the sibling would become an analyst or a bum depending on how you influenced them. Something like that maybe. I hope, however, the game surprises me with what the Sibling's role is and it is something better than this type of idea.
