Is there a list of all know squad powers yet anywhere? Is Liam the only one with Overload?

Has this clarification been shared here, yet?
Adson de Aguiar@cryonryder Example of the gameplay wasn't clear. "continuos" powers like turrets or singularity remain if you switch favorites?
Ian S. Frazier @tibermoon Lingering effects like Singularity: yes. "Pets" like Assault Turret, no.
Ian S. Frazier @tibermoon Whoops, no, I was wrong. Just double-checked this, and ALL "creations" disappear, including Singularity. Only status effects (burning, freezing, etc) persist when you switch profiles.
So, it's not just "pets", or "summons", it's all continuous powers. We can lay on persistent status effects, though, and swap Favorites.

Sentinel has additional shields as a class bonus (see initiative trailer).
That leaves only vanguard to figure out... unless anyone knows what the vanguard profile bonuses are?
soldier: marksman focus infiltrator: seeing enemies through walls engineer: combat droid sentinel: tech armor adept: biotic echoes explorer: biotic blink vanguard: ???

Figured i'd put this here... did anyone catch the PC Gamer interview with Ian Frazier? PC Gamer article: So Nova can be specced to use our shields rather than cool downs... and the same applies to Lance. Here's hoping Lance can be set to Prime too, if so: Lance to prime, Charge to detonate and get your shield back, Nova to prime, Charge to detonate and get your shield back. Be like ME3 all over again!

Ian Frazier's interview with PC Gamer gives us that answer. Hell. Honking. Yeah.He also states that you'll max out everything around Level 123. Using the Powers of Math!, that works out to 756 skill points (21 points to max out a skill, 12 skills per type, 3 types) and an average of 6.146 per level over those 123 levels. It's likely that we'll get varying numbers of skill points for level range— ME2 gave two points up to Level 20 and one point after, while ME3 gave 2 points per level between 2-30 then gave 4 points every level above 30.

Odd. We've already seen nova's skill tree, and I haven't seen that option (see last combat gameplay video). you can spec it to Generate shields, yes, but not to use them instead of cooldown. unless this is a vanguard skill or something.

I read somewhere the Vanguard skill is regenerating shields with each 'punch' so it won't be based on that.

That Nova skill tree was for Cora though, so that explains the difference. The AI had different skill trees at times in the trilogy too if I recall correctly. Considering what i'd quoted was a direct dev quote there's really no reason to doubt it's validity.

So I saw in a few(?) different places that companions can get pts just like we can... but they have far fewer abilities? I don't get it. I am assuming what you can upgrade for companions is only a fraction of what you can do with your PC. So where do all those pts go for companions?

I am most likely going to play as a pure Adept with low weight Assault Rifles, the same way I played my canon Shepard in the Original Trilogy. I do wonder if there is any purpose in my Rydept investing points into Biotic Charge if he will be a pure Adept.

I read somewhere--can't remember where--that one of the preview publications stated that you can switch profiles without bringing up the utility wheel.
Anymore info on that? If so, that lines up with my earlier posts about d-pad down being used to access another set of powers.

Similar to how you could map all abilities to keys in the OT, but on controller you had to use the power wheel? If not, you could be right. The other three dpad buttons seem to be reserved for squad commands but dpad down is still a possibility. TBH I won't be upset if you have to use the favourites menu each time. Cycling through preset favourites in the middle of battle would be a bit hectic anyway.

I do wonder if there is any purpose in my Rydept investing points into Biotic Charge if he will be a pure Adept. Given that you have four profile favourites, you could make one of them a vanguard with charge, nova and a third power. Just to mix it up a bit. You'd need to invest some points in combat skills but you could do that via the passives to increase weapon damage and DR/health.

I remember it being referenced for the controller, which makes sense as all of the previews were done with people using controllers. Also, it wouldn't have to be a matter of cycling through all of the presets; just a matter of cycling through either the last two presets used or two ones set via a menu. Then, if you wanted to use your other six abilities, you'd have to go into the actual favorites list.

So for example the way it could work is to press down on the d-pad and that brings up your 4 favorites to choose from via R or L joystick and hitting A/X.

You can make different Adept favourites loadout, with one being more close range, and Charge. That's in conjunction with them saying on twitter that there's hotkeys for all four favorites on kb/m. So there is not a hotkey for favorites only on controller? Yep, they've been clear there isn't. The d-pad is used to squad commands and scanner, I think.
