Haven't seen any of them so far.
I think it would suck if Bioware drops them from the game entirely, it was always a good dilemma and deep thought process.
I really liked talks with EDI and Geth story progression.
I know some people think they are not different that toasters, but think of it this way. You won't have toasters to shoot if there are no Synthetics in Andromeda!

Well, there are some sort of robots that we are fighting. Most likely they are from the Remnants. If you are thinking in the line of Geth, I don't really care, as long they are making them interesting they can be made of slime.

I personally really hope the Geth aren't in Andromeda. I hope there are EDI variants and am open to new native synthetics in Andromeda

I hope there are bending units hanging around the Nexus not working, smoking cigars and looking at circuitry porn.

I don't think we are going to see Geth, because Legion was the first friendly Geth out of their Rannoch and there is no way they are on the Nexus. For balance, maybe Bioware will refrain from including Quarians too. Don't care about either, I was merely saying it would be nice to have synthetics again.
I don't know, like having remnant AI rebel against their masters or something would be cool.

I'm actually hoping that it's our own tech that turns on us at some point in the game... requiring us to eventually defeat an evil nexus, which abandons us on whatever world we're on at the end of the game as humanity's new home... like it or lump it. Ah, remember HAL?

All the Remnants look synthetics to me (with some organics stuff thrown in), we just don't know how sentient they are. They give me a very Rendezvous With Rama vibe personally.

Andromeda must be absolutely overflowing with killbots. Because without the Reapers to stop it, synthetics will eventually destroy all organic life. It's a fact.

I am curious whether they will take this chance to show us a vision of how the organic/synthetic life dichotomy played out without regular culling. Or if we're just Not Ever Talking About It Again.

I wouldn't mind seeing artificial intelligences in Andromeda, but could we please not have the synthetics fall into one of the two extreme ends of depiction that 99% of all other science fiction media presents them as? I'm talking about your robots being either: 1) Pinocchio-bots - Your Commander Data types that only ever want to experience human emotion and love who "would gladly give up everything that makes me unique to be just like everyone else". •I want to see how such a being, intrinsically different from us, would perceive the galaxy not to talk about romance options and/or use it as a sex toy. 2) Murder-bots - Your Skynet clones, a foe that seeks to wipe out all organics for… reasons. •I want innate differences to be explored, not to have the low brow concoction of "different is bad", or that our human way of doing and perceiving things is the "correct" answer to being truly alive. It would be amazing if we could go back to a semblance of an AI like we had with the Geth in ME 2; synthetic beings that recognized the inherent differences between themselves and organics but didn't see that as a reason to want to emulate them or wipe them out. Is it too unfathomable to comprehend a synthetic that likes being synthetic, but is perfectly willing to work alongside organics? And even if we are to encounter a robotic race as foes surely there is more nuanced approaches to conflict aside from: "T he created always rebel against their creators" or relying on some convoluted form of the " yo dawg" meme?

That would be nice, sure, but let's not forget that most of players will have MEA as their first ME game, so old cliches will work like a charm on them. Andromeda must be absolutely overflowing with killbots. Because without the Reapers to stop it, synthetics will eventually destroy all organic life. It's a fact. No, seriously, aren't you tired of bringing this 4 years old crap again and again?

Don;t really want the geth but I would like a 'bishop' from the aliens movie type of thing, not and Edi but a being that looks mostly human. A cross between 'Data' and 'HK47'

"Look here, our synthetic race #356 is just like all the other artificial intelligences in every other game, film and show out there. We're so original!"

Nothing stops writers (within non-bizarre borders) from creating something original of course. Nor encourages them, except their own ambitions to be remembered for something.
