The last one is Morrigan's tarot card in Inquisition, right? I can imagine her wearing something like this just to shock orleasian nobility Or to impress her warden?

...shit. They look awesome. I would take these over that revealing outfit every time (well, maybe not every time...). I mean, Wilds are supposed to be very cold, no? Right? I just like that spooky frozen Ferelden swamp witch aesthetic more than I do the ill-fitting bikini. The last one is Morrigan's tarot card in Inquisition, right? I can imagine her wearing something like this just to shock orleasian nobility Or to impress her warden? She'd impress me wearing a potato sack tbh.

Pff! I refuse to acknowledge that! I clearly remember my female Dalish Warden having a girly-girl chat with Leliana about shoes! And City Elves receiving their mother's boots as a gift! Tbh,i remember something similar...It seems there was a shoewear shortage after the Fifth Blight She'd impress me wearing a potato sack tbh. True!Morrigan can blame her Mother for many things, but certainly not for giving birth to such an exquisite specimen of beauty

Which Origin do you think is the best and the worst to romance Morrigan? Dalish Elf Origin is one many people choose but frankly, I never felt connection others feel. In fact, I consider it to be one the less likely Origin story to have protagonist who would even work with Morrigan. As far as DE knows, everything Blight related is a bad news (both Dark ritual and Morrigan meddling with Eluvian). It makes my DE Wardens pull murder knife at her.
Wardens Brosca and Cousland are probably more likely partners for her. The former agrees with her "kill your mother" policy, the latter can be played as archetypical knight who fell in love with dark witch which has some charms for me. (What? I'm all romantic inside.)
I'm neutral on Tabris and Aeducan.
Mahariel is followed by Amell and Surana. I mean... she insists you have to kill or let die everyone you knew. You can hate Circle system, but these people were your family and they're just trying to survive. "But hey, yeah, let's get rid of them to be greatest social darwinist in the room! By the way, I need your help with killing my mother..."

You can hate Circle system, but these people were your family and they're just trying to survive. "But hey, yeah, let's get rid of them to be greatest social darwinist in the room! By the way, I need your help with killing my mother..." Personally,i can't and will never ever romance Morrigan with another character except my Cousland, who happens to also be the character of my very first PT. I went in DA:O with the highest of expectations since it was compared to Bioware's other masterpiece,Baldur's Gate.I tend to get invested ,a lot, when i play an rpg(be it video game or pnp)so my attachment,or identification more likely, with my Warden was bound to happen from the very first moments of the game.Even so,i was caught off guard by the events that would transpire! Stories about the archetypical knight are pretty much what i grew up with so it was pretty easy for me to pick the noble origin as my first.I had no idea about the enchantingly alluring raven haired witch i was about to meet, but it certainly feels like the story i'd enjoy back then(i mean,i still do).I remember not being able to function properly for a great deal of time after completing the Witch Hunt dlc... Sometimes i wonder if it weren't for Morrigan, would Dragon Age:Origins be my most treasured game of all time?Should i be ashamed that just for one character,i am picking DA:O over Baldur's Gate, and thus "betraying" my previously most beloved game?Perhaps i should be posting that in the Confessions thread... I am certainly biased, but i cannot see a romantic connection between Morrigan and any of the other origins. In fact, just the mere thought makes me feel uneasy.I'm generally not a fan of interracial romances in fantasy ,except if they're penned by J.R.RTolkien,so there's that. HumanxDwarf? Now that's just goofy to me. Still, had i not played the game and was presented with the choices, and then asked which one seems more fitting,i would pick Cousland every time.It certainly feels the more appealing to me.Knight clad in shining armour aside, there's that additional dynamic of the noble/commoner romance(with the added layer, that Morrigan is not just a simple commoner but an outsider more likely)which is also very much to my liking.

And a Circle Mage can share her interests more than the others. And Morrigan can show him much new knowledge and a new, fresh perspectives, for example about the hedge magic. But everyone good with her.

You can hate Circle system, but these people were your family and they're just trying to survive. "But hey, yeah, let's get rid of them to be greatest social darwinist in the room! By the way, I need your help with killing my mother..." Disclaimer: I think any Origin can work well with any of the romances, given enough thoughtful consideration. My personal favorites for Morrigan are Brosca, Aeducan, Mahariel, and Tabris. • Tabris - despite her, uh, rather tactless comment during the slavery quest, I like the idea of Tabris with Morrigan for the same reason I like the idea of Tabris with Zevran. Your dad wants you to settle down and get married, and that's essentially what you do with Morrigan..... who is the exact opposite of everything your dad wanted for you. So it's hilariously ironic to me. Also there's an elven connection but not so much that the whole Mythal/ancient elves thing feels like it overshadows the romance. • Mahariel - obviously a neat connection to the Eluvians, Mythal, etc. Your Warden can even have Mythal's vallaslin which would be, again, hilariously ironic if Morrigan drinks from the Well of Sorrows and becomes bound to Mythal. Meeting "Asha'bellanar" near the start of the game takes on a whole different tone in hindsight. Plus, Mahariel and Morrigan both grew up in the wilderness and probably have similar views of magic and humans. There's also a nice contrast because Mahariel grew up in a close-knit community and was obviously well-loved and Morrigan.... not so much. • Aeducan - I kind of just like the idea of Kieran having a dwarven half-brother in the form of Mardy and Aeducan's son Duncan/Gorim/Trian/Endrin. • Brosca - my absolute favorite, I could wax poetic about how beautiful their relationship is. Morrigan even says "you and I have more in common than I thought" when she meets your mother (your mother who, incidentally, also insists no woman would ever want you because you're trash and you'll always be trash). He is strong, a survivor, two things Morrigan is undeniably attracted to. I made a whole sappy post about Brosca/Morrigan family feels ages ago: IMAGINE DADDY BROSCA AND KIERAN
• He remembers holding his nephew Endrin in his arms, seeing Rica’s face alight with joy and contentment for the first time in forever, thinking that he would never get to have that. Even if he’s a bona fide Grey Warden now, he’s still more likely to succumb to the Taint or meet the business end of a darkspawn sword in battle. Having a wife, raising a family? Not likely.
• He finds Morrigan, because of course he does, Brosca always keeps his promises and the thought of his child growing up without knowing him actually aches. He cannot remember his father’s face no matter how hard he tries. He doesn’t want to be that man. (He doesn’t think twice about following her through the mirror.)
• Like Morrigan to Flemeth (“I will not be the mother to him that you were to me.”), he vows that Kieran will never, ever, ever have to make sure Brosca hasn’t drowned in his own vomit in the middle of the night; will never have to drag him home, stumbling and reeking of ale, from the local watering hole. He will never threaten or berate or forsake his son.
• When Brosca leaves to search for a cure to the Calling - for his family, so he can remain with them and give them the father and husband they deserve - he weeps. His father left for the surface when he was just a babe; can he abandon his son with no guarantee of his own survival? Of theirs? Flemeth is a dark shadow on the horizon, and though Morrigan is the wisest and most formidable person he’s ever met, they are still profoundly mortal. What if, what if…

She told me that she sometimes felt a strange fuzzy feeling while with the rest of our fellowship. So,it is likely, but you know...not for long Of course not for long. This is the point. This is her choice, but still sometimes would be nice just join to the others... To be an outsider is good, but lonely. Yup,she's a lonely wolf(she literally can be one )though i think we both would agree that while Morrigan could be fond of the friendly atmosphere, that does not necessarily mean she's fond of the people that constitute it. She can perhaps be energized by the positive vibe of her fellow companions(every human being is in need of some occasional socialiazation and camaraderie, even the most independent ones),but we're well aware that she does not get well with the crushing majority. Of course,if it weren't for the others, whom would she share her sarcastic remarks and comments with? Since we're talking about Morrigan,i've seen this phrase some time ago about being with an independent woman(or man,if you modify it ofc)."She surely doesn't need me,but she sure as hell wants me!"which totally reasonates with me and my wife! Purrfect!
