I had no idea, and when I watched the video I couldn't believe the characters they got to be.  They were both so good!  I'd never have guessed they weren't pros.

I understand that BW has their hands tied with those prizes law preventing people from the other countries to participate, but it still makes me a bit sad. It would have been nice to have more exotic accents thrown in there. Indian, french, italian, russian... Oh well, it is possible some of the contestants, or even some of the official voice-over will have them. One can hope.

But yeah. Doesn't cost anything and it's my favourite game series so why not! If I win then yay! If I don't then I haven't wasted anything

also I asked my other half to take part, not that she's exactly a fan but she's watched me play all of the games on the big screen in our house for years lol

I'm contemplating entering, even though my country is not eligible. Just to give them a finger for not including the entirety of Europe.

I believe you are supposed to choose which script you wish to submit, at least this is how it worked for the DAI contest.

The female winner was a regular on the BSN, as well. Not sure if she made it over to this new forum....hadn't seen her in a while. She voiced Flissa (as already pointed out) and Elesandra, the mage you can recruit at the Hinterland crossroads.

This is interesting. Might give it a go myself.

And for anyone else considering it, I encourage you to read the posted rules for the contest very carefully (I know legalese is dull but make the effort) and ask for clarification from official BioWare channels only, preferably citing the rules specifically so as to make sure there is no contradiction. If there is a contradiction, the rules will likely supersede any individual dev remark.

Just something to keep in mind, so you don't screw yourself (or get screwed) out of a fair chance to participate. I've seen contests where ambiguity in the stated rules or people's ignorance of them have led to entries being invalid. Cover yourself and have fun!
