I've noticed a pattern. All my favorite LIs are down for a little murder and mayhem. Like.... none of them will leave me just 'cause I decide some asshole needs a good shanking. Zevran, Morrigan, Fenris, Isabela, Sera, Bull, Dorian, Viconia, Dorn, Garrus, Bishop, Gann, Safiya... this probably says something dark and foreboding about me as a person but I just think it's hilarious. What's life without a little murderflirting?

Had another Confession Thread inspired poking, this time involving DAO with a mod and Loghain. Good times. Also poked a bit in connection to the n00b thread. Twisted my hands they did. Yessir. Found out that dwarves have a fondness for tools and that Hrotti has a scarecrow fetish. But the egg. Why. The whip I get, the fish worship I kinda get, but the egg is just wrong. Also found myself pondering if I should finish Sigurd's run. Had kind of given up on him, but he's a good sport and didn't complain about being constantly surprised in increasingly horrifying ways.
Then loaded up the Inquisition for a bit. Had some fun with the dwarf from the last session and still dig her looks. Just did the usual stuff, killing wolves, mages and templars, gathering herbs and closing rifts. I do wish they added the tinting table to Haven as well, but I guess there has to be some reason to get to Skyhold.
Then back to DAO and loaded up Wuxia. Feats of the day (was supposed to be shorter, but then it wasn't and now you must suffer): Tried to recruit Dwynn the dwarf. But he died. Oops. Found a shifty human boy in a closet. When asking about him being there, he ran off all flustered. Boys... Found a saucy book in his attic, note to self, do not make out with demons. ...Is Alistair a demon? Tried getting Owen to repair the militia stuff. But he died. Oops. But found his stache of weapons. Sten you bloomin' hypocrite. All who are able should fight, but you wanted to leave. Pish posh. Maker said I was not ready to fight for Redcliffe so he crashed my game. Bastard. The Maker was right, I'm not ready for this. By the Bronto's buttocks, the oil trap was actually helpful. Sadly there were none around the church, so the militia is dead. Oops. Props to Lloyd who almost survived, but not quite. Tossed some money into the river, and by river I mean women, and by tossing I mean gave. Morrigan disapproves -9001. Infiltrated the castle, killed corpses and rescued Maidens. Or well, Maiden, there was only one in the basement. Ser Perth and crew kicked that Revenant into space. Let Jowan out and told him to go do whatever, only Morrigan approved +1. (Or well, 7) Looted the castle, if you were me, you'd do it too. Don't lie to yourself. What do you do with a possessed Connor, what do you do with a possessed Connor, what do you do with a possessed Connor so late in the evening? Nothing for now, did go upstairs and chat to him. Told him he'd see the Maker, he would not be coddled and killing him would hurt. Going to let him sleep on it while I decide what to do. But either way, somebody is going to die. And it aint going to be me.

Ralph Hawke (Charactersheet)Finding NathanielAnders and I just went to Aveline, for some rumours, when a black haired lady stopped us. She asked us to find her brother, a Warden, Nathaniel Howe. When Anders heard his name, exhilarated, I not really remember, when he was such enthusiastic recently... Was something between them? And why this bothers me? Anders tells they were together in Amaranthine, just usual warden things... okay, let's go for him, Anders perhaps would kill me, if I refuse that. But the Deep Roads' not that funny place, so, probably we need some help. I called Fenris and Aveline. As Nathaniel's sister said, we followed our old path of the expedition, through some Darkspawn, and found Howe. Should I be jealous? Rather let's go! We found Nathaniel, this was the task. We're done here... ..as I imagined. But Nathaniel had another plan, his crew missed, he doesn't want to come without them. Of course, let's go to save people! Aveline doesn't like the idea to protect „foolish” Wardens „from themselves”. A dwarf, named Temmerin Glavonak, from the Vigil's Keep, helped us with his explosive. He said a little farther, maybe there are survivors. Other groups of Darkspawn, and... Carver?! Thanks to the Maker we didn't leave! Did he thank me? Who are you? Did you eat my brother? Or the Taint ate his brain... Now, we're done here. Okay, new target: The Hanged Man! +videos (To be continued.)

Sten: You look like a woman. Ciri: Ah...thanks, I guess. What gave it away? It's so hard to get nice mage robes in my size. Wynne, where did you get that dress? Oh child, I picked up these old things in an op shop in Tretogor, years ago. Ciri: Feels like an ambush. Leliana: Why?! It's not always an ambush. Leliana: Alright, maybe sometimes it's an ambush.

Wasn't today but I just remembered the time when a bunch of identical cats spawned in Denerim at once and sprinted from one end of the market to another and back. Made the trip worthwhile. Also this. The captain didn't even question an elven "soldier" randomly appearing in his ranks. Such a fair, open-minded fellow!

Spent a bunch of time getting things set up to restart my Human Noble run in a new and different sort of way. Sat stupidly because I couldn't figure out how to make his hair look good. Finally figured that out, spent two hours getting through the prologue, and came to the understanding that, no, it wasn't just one or two cutscenes making his face look freakish, I just messed up his cheekbone sliders and I just wasted two hours 'cause I can't keep playing the game without noticing how his face looks like a >< shape.
Baaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh.

Baaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh. Sorry you wasted the playtime, but happy to hear it's not only me that ends up restarting because I don't like how something about the Warden looks, lol. Usually for me it's the nose that gives me trouble when I'm creating them in the Toolset.

Sorry you wasted the playtime, but happy to hear it's not only me that ends up restarting because I don't like how something about the Warden looks, lol. Character creation is my bane. I do it in every DA game. In the others I have the Black Emporium mirror, at least, though. If you create your warden in the toolset, why don't you just edit the bits your not happy with and continue? I don't actually create my Wardens themselves in the Toolset, mostly because I'm bad enough at making good faces with the somewhat more intuitive in-game creator. In the case of this particular playthrough, it was a matter of creating some customized equipment and redoing various ability trees to make what was hopefully going to be a fun take on a Sword-and-Shield Rogue.

T12 part 1 done. I've almost messed up the dwarf quest. The original pitch included getting revenge for the prologue using the "work for" Bhelen quest. Well my first idea was to help him and when we get the crown just give him the two fingers and make Harrowmont king instead but then I found out there's an actual spy-ish quest for both sides. Let's do that! But! Thanks to DAI we know that Bhelen is the better choice for the dwarves/world. My epic fight scene with the hysterically screaming former princess ("because of your machinations I was condemned to a fate worse than death!"->broodmother) went up in flames. So how to make it work? Thankfully this was the last main quest before the ashes and after the dalish ~forgiving Bhelen was a viable option. I mean poor Zathrian suffered more and we just told him to let go of a century(ies?) old grudge. Betrayal and exile seems like nothing compared to that especially since it turned it well for her. Respected warden, the love of Alistair, etc. She vented her rage on the broodmother ("this could have been me... "), grinded it to dust. She almost punched Bhelen when she gave him the crown, but she's a warden now. Got the troops it was time to leave Orzammar behind. For good this time. I had to leave Alistair at the gates during the finale so he wouldn't ninja-kill the archdemon. In the headcanon they are fighting side by side for a while but then he is held up by a pack of shrieks and can't reach the downed dragon before his love. All he can do is watch. Mmm, drama fuel! Alistair was also absent in the epilogue (bug?) but Bhelen got his first bonus point for restoring Sereda's status. Hawke, you're up!

You have to make a new character with your desired look for your current character, then just use the program to slap the new face onto your hero.

I remembered that they had NOOOOO IDEA what was actually going on with Morrigan, Flemmeth, Old God Baby, and really anything else that was going to happen in the series when they were making The Witch Hunt DLC.
It's so charmingly vague and incorrect.
