Character Creator & Character Customization (Official Thread)

I tried. Still picked default cos Alec's face looked like he's had 10 plastic surgeries on it. Plus custom faces aren't that great in conversations, I noticed they're much less animated than the default.

Finding some of the design choices just visually weird. Addison looks like a psycho clown with her purple eyeshadow and her irises seem way too small for her eyes; all the turians being white look so strange in comparison to the turians in the OT, something looks weird about Kesh like she's not a true krogan and I can't put my finger on what's wrong; and while my hair looks great, most of the NPCs still have plasticine hair.

I just don't get it. The world has been beautiful so far, why do all the characters just look so wrong? It's a 2017 game but it doesn't feel like it.

Also, I have a suspicion they were trying to copy what Fallout 4 did. (Make your dad - who's actually your son) look like you. Ruined CC. FO4 CC was incredible though.

The Archives still aren't up, huh? I wanted to slightly modify my trial character and then start a new game with him but I can't import him till the Archives go up :/.

Here is my Sara. I dig her, although it took me three tries to get the eye color I wanted (why no zoom?)...though I wish I could have played as a fair-skinned white gal (and before you ask, no, tremor-lips #9 did NOT do it for me). Still, the animations with this preset are really good, imo, and the voice acting fits the face. So...now on to many hours of playing!!!

Right? I love my Ryder in cutscenes, but her mouth looks so weird when she's just talking to people. If I could just tweak it, it'd be fine!

Agreed!  While I really like my Ryder, her lipstick is just one or two shades to bright.  But I refuse to backtrack 15+ hours to fix it!!!  Also, having to sit through that super long intro to see how our Ryder looks in the game in the beginning...UGGGG!!!! 

Yeah, he had quite the look, lol.

These should help with mouth issues and some others. Not by me and I don't have ME:A so can't test them.

not bad.  do you have sliders for her?

I'm not expecting miracles. Trust me. Though I could see them adding a few other options. Like switch out a nose for a different nose. I don't think that's above their expertise. Hope they test it thoroughly - there's the concern.
