I doubt it. Fitting all of the different armor models on different body types is probably hard and unnecessary work. Just "stretching" the armor (or making it smaller if you're into bulimia) will just look weird.

I would love it if we could modify body type. I loved that about Fallout 4. I'm not sure if it's possible for a lot of variation in a game with a lot of cutscene interactions though, but minor changes would be great.

I'd be pretty stoked if we could have different body types, but it'd be enough work to get all the armor to morph correctly I won't hold my breath. I don't think Bioware'd go for that at this point, maybe a few games from now if ever.
I really really hope we get multiple (attractive, actually looks like something someone would deliberately wear) outfits, though. Inquisition's beige pajamas still haunt me. And I'm still not quite over the fact that it took them almost a year to put in some new options to wear around Skyhold, and they weren't even that cute, though anything is better than a medieval beige leisure suit, I guess. smdh, Bioware, smdh.

I just hope what we create in the CC translates into the cutscenes well...something that has been problematic in past games. I would love a "show in cutscenes" button (a little montage of lesser important in-game cutscenes) in which we can confirm the look we spend hours creating is visually satisfying. I wonder if they will do something like Kingdoms of Amalur or FO 4 where the CC did sort of take place in the middle of a cut scene. At least a little bit. I found no issue with my character in 4 after the CC largely because it was actually happening...in game...more or less. yeah I agree as while I must admit I like Sara's hair her face does look a bit too cartoony for me. I've made better faces in DAI without mods so I don't think it'll be too hard. I can see myself using that hair on Sara at some point whether I do or not on my first run is another question as I won't know that until I see the other options but the fact they've got what I 'd consider a nice hairstyle for Sara and it moves as she runs gives me hope that at least some effort has gone in to improving this area because for me this was one of the areas which in DAI for me was found wanting. I have my finghers crossed but until the game is out we won't know. Agreed. I do rather like her hair and its style. But my general rule is as long as there is one hair style I can use in a CC I'll like it. yeah same here there are a couple of half decent hairstyles in DAI and tbh the default one is one of them but unfortunastely that's as far as it goes. I do use those hairstyles but thanks to the fact I've found DAI easy to mod. I've been pretty much using mods to give me the better haiirstyles I want. I must admit I like the one I'm running with on my Rachel Travelyan atm it's really suiting her. TBH the ME trilogy had better options even though it had less of them. Hopefully though MEA does improve on DAI it looks like there's a chance it will all the clues are there at least because had Sara's hairstyle been available in DAI I'd have likely used it by now on one of my quizzies. I'd always prefer the hairstyles to be in the game already as not all games are easy to mod and in fact despite my best efforts I couldn't get any mods working in the trilogy or in DA2 tbh. Although in DA2 I don't really need it as I'm quite happy with the styles they gave us there. I've only managed t oget mods working in DAO and DAI but those are the ones that need it the most. Hopefully MEA will have it all covered but only time will tell.

Some of my characters looked great, other's I had to abandoned because it was like a completely different character. I really don't understand why such dramatic differences occur. Someone earlier suggested following the FO4 approach of essentially doing it in cutscene...which I think is a good idea. Not sure how difficult it is to implement that though.

They definitely need to bring back scars. Removing it from the CC for ME 2&3 was one of the dumbest moves I have ever seen. And yes, tattoos, I hope we get some cool neck tattoos like the one Vega had .

See, my problems with the CC in Bioware games is that my male characters always come out looking awful. I pick one of the default looks and tweak it slightly or go with the main look for them. My female characters always look great though. It's weird. I can make a woman's face that's anything from quirky cute to classic beauty to dramatically striking, and it always comes out great, but have me make a man and you'd think I've never seen a person before.

Mine even looked slightly different during normal gameplay, because the game insisted on twisting his feature into a grin most of the time that I swear wasn't there when I created the character.

Yup. That beige thing was ugly. Sometimes, BioWare have these moments of blackout where the good taste run away. Like for the Qunari hairstyles, or the hairstyles in general. As much as I didn't like DA2, it was the ONLY BioWare game I felt like I had some hairstyles I actually liked. I'd love the chance to have at least the chance to choose a different body type: after ME1, I always felt the female body was way too thin in the arms, I think only the female Qunari had the kind of arms I'd like for my soldiar characters. At the same time, I'd like a more slight male body too. Shepard became more and more muscular by each game, like he was taking all the muscle mass that was destined to his female counterpart.

I would love for them to allow body customization, even something like having a few preset types like Lithe, Fit, Muscular, Amazonian, etc. I would say that evn this won't happen, but Ian answered a tweet about this in a way that leaves a sliver of hope. I would also love scars to come back but add different kinds of scars. So far they have slash ones, but it would also be neat to have things like burn scars, bullet scars, or maybe something like biotic scars as options. This would be another thing that would be cool if we could do it to the body as well as the face. Finally, I would like for them to allow the full color wheel for everything such as hair and eye color. They did this in DAI with the eyes, so doing the hair shouldn't be a problem.

Perhaps the skin is warped or blackened, like the wall we see in Jack's loyalty mission that she says is biotic scarring. I just through that out there as an example of more exotic scars that they could do.

DA:I had a great character creation feature, but I often felt that it was too focused on the face. There were multiple other parts of my characters that I would have loved to customize. Here's my wish list for the ME:A CC, and I'm curious about what other people would add and how likely you think these things are. · Different body types. Yes, we got that in DA with the different races, but I'd love to see that continued even now that we only play one species in ME. · Body hair, scars, and tattoos. · Long hair, even if it's mostly pinned up. · A variety of casual clothes and, if we have another "Wicked Eyes, Wicked Hearts" type of mission, a variety of formal clothes as well. Merry★* 。 • ˚ ˚ ˛ ˚ ˛ • •。★Christmas★ 。* 。 ° 。 ° ˛˚˛ * _Π_____*。*˚ ˚ ˛ •˛•˚ */______/~\。˚ ˚ ˛ ˚ ˛ •˛• ˚ | 田田 |門| ˚And a happy new year!
Hm.. Full body customization is not a Bio thing. Also, I don't see the FB3 engine supporting this. Why? Because of clipping issues. FB3, doesn't like long hair and a "variable" body size interferes with the default skins, which to me is the same as the long hair problem. Maybe FB3.5 will support it.

I can see the scars and tattoos returning, since they have them in DAI (even though it's just face tattoos). It'd be cool to be able to put tattoos on the rest of the body as well, at least torso and arms. Different body types I don't think so, even presets (tho it'd be really cool). I don't think long hair is going to happen, unless always pinned up, but I hope there's at least a good variety of cool hair. If Morrigan and Josephine can have them, why can't we? And I think by what has been shown that we'll have better casual clothes than DAI at least

Different body sizes might result in less cinematic conversations with NPCs. Didn't one of the DA devs claim that was part of why DA:I had less? I believe designing scenes where characters physically interact with other characters or objects also takes more work, because varying body sizes can result in clipping.
If so I'd much rather there was one body size to rule them all.

I was thinking presets as well. The alternative would likely look weird. I was thinking Slender and Athletic sets for females and Lean and Muscular sets for males. If they were feeling especially generous they could include Curvy for females and Sturdy for males, too.

One can simply watch hacked romance scenes for qunari and Solas/Cullen to dive into this problem.

I don't recall any dev saying that, other than about how it made The Iron Bull's romance scenes hard to animate but they were pleased the animator pulled it off. I recall the devs saying that there being less cinematic conversations was more an experiment they were doing or something like that.

I really liked FO4's blemishes and scars, wouldn't mind those. I'd also love to see the two toned eyes from DAI making a return, I'll be kinda crushed if it doesn't.

I'd like the chance to colour my character's eyes separately, one green, one blue for example, maybe also some 'punk' style hair options & tats.
Just my opinion.

ALL EA games should just politely borrow The Sims 4 character creation and we are all happy. It is even gender inclusive.
