If I can modify my MP characters ... Have a unique look for all the characters? That others can see? Beyond just uniform color? Yeah, that would be cool. Plus, as some have hinted, when you see one that looks really good in a lobby, getting that code sent to you ... would be cool ... because let's face it, no artist is in danger of losing business from me. That would be really cool! Especially if we there were facecodes again, so we could use the faces we create in SP for MP and vice versa, and share them of course. Improved version of DAI's CC. I hope we get better hair options, of course! Long, short and different styles for females and males, unique to the protagonist (not shared with NPC's) There could also be different body types, something like SWTOR's 1-4. One complaint about DAI I had was that you couldn't change your characters eyebrow color for some reason (you could do that in almost any other BW game) Presets should be better looking than they were in DAI - not everyone wants to spent hours creating a character so the preset faces should be pretty, not ugly or funny. (I also hope there is no 'default' Ryder this time) I hope we get more customization options in general. Tattoos, scars, freckles, cybernetics, perhaps even jewelry... Something like the Mirror of Transformation would also be appreciated. I am vehemently in favour of some sort of body-sliders, even if it's very basic. I'm just sick of the male protagonists always being lumbering brutes and the females being barbie dolls. I'd like my female characters to look like soldiers, personally. So if we had 3 or 4 preset bodies even, like you say, that would help immensely. Naturally, this will mean more work must be done for animations, but not as much as some people think, since a slightly different build won't affect most animations, only some of the ones that involve two characters touching, really. In addition, having even 4 preset bodies would be equal to DA:I's 4 different races numbers-wise, but much easier to animate as I said, because there isn't a height difference. You wouldn't need to move the camera, either. Since ME:A is human-only, I will be very disappointed if this isn't a thing, although I expect to be disappointed. If "hoping there is no default Ryder" means what I think you mean, I agree. That is: a face that you cannot edit and that has features unique to it. I hated that we couldn't use default Femshep's freckles or default Hawke's hair or use them as a baseline for a custom face. And yes, a way to edit our appearance mid-game is an absolute must, especially if the lighting in the CC sucks. Facial reconstruction surgery is a thing in ME, so it shouldn't be a problem. Everyone else has covered other things that I would like to see included in the CC, but in addition to better hair styles I would like more colorful hair options as well, maybe they could just include a color wheel as well as traditional choices, like they did with eyes and make-up in DAI. I agree, I've been saying hair should have a colour-wheel for years. Especially in ME where you can have it dyed or genetically changed to any colour. ME3's hair actually supported this just fine (along with a highlight colour!!!); if you used the Gibbed Save Editor, you could use a colour wheel for hair, we were just locked out of it in the CC. A highlight colour option would be awesome, too. And as someone else said, we need to be able to change eyebrow colour separately from scalp-hair, which DA:I for some reason didn't give you the option to do. Heterochromia should also be available - to change each eye colour individually. That shouldn't be complicated to implement. Other than that, we just need not to go backwards and remove options we've had before, while adding more. A good quantity and variety of quality hair would also be great, but I won't hold my breath And that includes all hair, since DA:I failed with all hair. Scalp, eyebrows, and facial hair. Heck, even lashes could be better. Hopefully there will be more than 1 hairstyle I'd actually use, this time.

One other thing I'd like to see skin blemishes, besides scars, and independent from the complexion. Freckles, beauty spots, moles, other types of skin pigmentation--similar to what the Fallout 4 CC, had only with more pretty things and less festering acne.

I recall there be some discussion at the old BSN about this but i think it would be cool if there was a slider for different ticks. It would be likely be on the same panel as the "blemish" slider, and would introduce things like facial ticks, limps, lisps, etc. Not that a lot of these couldn't be fixed in the ME universe. It's just possible it would be too expensive to do so or just wasn't something the character wanted to fix.

I'd say more options, or something that ressembles other CC but tbh I just want one that lets me do a character that looks good, specially since being a BW game we'll be having lots of conversations in which I see the char's face up close. In other games like Dark Souls it's not as important since you won't be looking at the face all that much. Also something to do with the body would be nice, like tattoos on the arm, or something. And yeah, I expect none of these features to appear. Just hoping for a good default like in ME3 (I like that femshep a lot, lucky me.) I want a half-sleeve so bad for my femRyder.

I'd like to mainly see Inquisition's CC improved upon because I really enjoyed the CC in that game. I loved the amount of customization for say the eye colors in Inquisition, you could make some really unique eye colors for the Inquisitor with that.

I wouldn't mind a CC that allows you to look like Skullface with deep scaring and pale skin.
A face that makes people think you barely survived a Reaper's beam attack.

I really hope there will be CC codes, and that this Forum will have a nice thread devoted to showing and sharing our designs. I'm always fascinated with seeing what's possible.
In ME-3 the CC faces I've created are noticeably different in the game, especially with the 'gaunt' design on the cheeks and cheek bone structures. I've restarted many a game just so I could eliminate the facial appearance problems that I didn't see in the CC system. I hope the character's CC appearance will be spot-on in the game - and - the image in the CC will more easily help us see any misshapes we are creating.
I am not interested in customizing body shapes. If this is included, I hope we can simply choose to adjust the face and use a default body shape.

Snip <<<<<<<<<<(0)>>>>>>>>>> DA:I has a similar problem... though to me it was in the face colour . I spent about 45 minutes to get he face and colour scheme to my satisfaction, only to wake up in that room with a different colour palette.

Are the CC controls as demonstrated in Black Desert something others would like to see included in ME:A? Just curious. They've… spent a lot of time on that character creator. Not that it's a bad thing but i imagine, as it's a newish buy-to-play MMO, the game's using it to create a large draw in order to stay afloat. I could just be really out of the loop when it comes to MMOs but this is what i see. If BioWare spent half the time and came up with a quarter of the options, i'd be happy but i'm not overly concerned because i barely spend any time on facial features and two, there's a million other things BioWare's going to do this company doesn't that have me more concerned.

I'm of opinion that Dragon Age: Inquisition's character creator is the best character creator Bioware has made so. Hair aside, it did present deeper customization than the previous ones. Since they've said that they can borrow things from Inquisition (because they share an engine) so they don't have to start on them from scratch then I hoping they can borrow the cc and maybe even expand upon it. I wouldn't mind seeing some of the things from the Fallout 4's character creator like burn scars, multiple scars and some of the hair.
Barring hair (with the exception of one), the Inquisition's character creator has all the things I'm hoping Andromeda's character creator will have.

Are the CC controls as demonstrated in Black Desert something others would like to see included in ME:A? Just curious. Hell yes! Those hair options alone would be awesome!! Of course it's too complex to actually put into the game but here's hoping we get something even half that good. Well after seeing the Default Male Ryder now I'm even more concerned than before about the CCs Quality. Keep in mind that was pre-alpha footage and I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that what you saw was a face scan from the VO. Something I'd love to see in the CC is an in game preview of what the character will look like before starting the opening mission. I wasted hours in ME3's CC only to have them look nothing like what they were in the CC screen.

The CC in Dragon Age Inq was a good step up from Bioware. I hope and think the CC in Mass effect A is better. Female hairstyles must be better. Trailer look prommising because i like that Ellie the last of us style hair.
I hope we can also do something with the bodies.

I wasted hours in ME3's CC only to have them look nothing like what they were in the CC screen. Damn you BSN Prime! So, when this was brought up a couple times, i finally thought of a decent way to preview, which was to, after you've made all the changes you want, hit something like Verify and it'll have your character walk around the Tempest, chatting with people, until you cancel out. This would cover the various lighting situations and shadows, especially if the camera only follows so you can see what happens when Ryder turns around or looks over to chat.

Don't think that is going to happen But I think body proportions are quite alright nowadays, though I'd like my character be a bit more muscled (like shepard). The human female in DA:I was a bit scrawny. But in DA:I the Frostbite engine was still new to them, so now they tweaked and played with it, knowing its capabilities and its ins and outs, I suspect the CC will be better
