For our society, yes, the situations are different. Though I was simply referring to religion not being the only reason to be against either incest or homosexuality or other things. It's not about being open minded or tolerant (and you're still comparing different things). Societies still define some boundaries. Otherwise everything should be permitted. Since nobody has a crystal ball, we don't know what will change in the future. The devs evidently decided to set the Mass Effect human society based on our own, so incest is illegal. Drag queens dancing almost naked in front of kids yelling how much they love **** is alright, but incest is wrong? I don't understand. Ugh dude, that is disgusting, that is our father you are talking about. I doubt that is alright for a lot of people. Being in support of drag queens doesn't mean being in support of kids seeing a show. Also what daveliam said. So a sibling is ok and a parents isn't? I don't understand  See? you have a boundary. Most people in our society simply have it for sibling and close relatives as well. |

Those other things you list have no such downsides. Then use condoms? People have the free agency to do what they want so long as everyone involved consents and nobody is hurt.
