^ yes, constant 60fps on solo is a problem occasionally. I had a nice solo fail just now, wave 5. Was flawless until that point, lols. Didn't even use one of my 9 rockets Pretty sure I'll get this one though, and will be a template for future successes. I had the sound glitch, where the announcer is silent except for talking about objectives. Weird... On-host solo problems, le sigh. It was kinda nice, but a distraction nevertheless. Edit: To have some success and better learn the mechanics (I am bad with Acolyte), I decided to do a Gold solo. Only thing I said to myself was no rockets. 34:15, too much kiting and freelancing, used 3 ops packs and had to gel twice. It was an ok No-Rocket solo I suppose. Fairly relaxing after Platinum lol.

In solo it is less than in duo etc. Don't know if I understand the question correctly but in my experience their movement is not totally random. There are cartain places on the maps (like the corner of win on White) where you can predict their behaviour, at least to some extent. Giant has a couple of places like this which I usually exploit in my solos. The same goes for the wall jumping i.e. you don't want to hang around the ammo box in the LZ on Giant since they always jump through that wall.

Like antsu mentioned,the banshees have a damage treshold,which means that you can stop them if you do enough damage in 5 or 8 seconds(don't remember anymore).This threshold scales with the players on the pitch.On solo you can stop them with less damage.You need to deal more damage on duos,much more on trios and even more on a full team game.Some characters can stop the banshee fast even with 3 other players,like GI,AVS etc.I am in the gym right now and can't check the video,but probably i nuked that banshee just for speed,since it is a speedrun.I will say with certainty later.

Now i checked the video and at 8:18 wasn't only a basnhee it was a killstreak,and yes i did it for speed.Vs cerb on 5,8 and 9 wave if you want to do a speedrun the missiles are must.

Yeah, one Turian Soldier Marksman+Widow or Proxi+Widow shot will stop a Banshee in her tracks on a solo. Very very helpful. Breathing room.

I am pretty sure that is not necessary,but forgot to mention something. The the threshold scales with the difficult as well.Lowest on bronze and higher on Plat ofc.

A good thing I found this, because there's one question that's been bothering me since the very first time I tried to kill a Banshee with a Javelin GI. They just won't stop despite I'm pretty much sure I'm dealing a ton of damage to them and hitting that threshold, because, well, cloaked Proxy Mine-buffed Javelin X shots. What the hell, Banshees? What am I doing wrong?

Edit: Plat DAI solo with BW, disruptor 4, clip size and HVB: One shot dropped 3 bars of banshee barrier and caused her to stop movement.

So you need to inflict 4000 dmage to stop a Banshee(platinum) in a solo game.The damage required is multiplied by the number of players in the game and is capped by the specified maximum value,which is 8000.With GI/Javelin combo+all damage bonuses from cloak,mines and hunter mod+full weapon passives you will inflict around 4800 damage which is more than requred threshold,but not enough on Duos,trios or full team game.

Wave 9, only an Atlas left, my hand decides to go spaz on the keyboard and suddenly the mouse/keyboard controls the camera and not my toon. I flounder around trying to figure out what i just did while the Atlas saunters up, takes a swipe at me then casually breaks my neck. Fission mailed.

had an almost clean thundadump claymore HSOl solo today. I m just posting the extraction cause it s a nice one with death around the 00:00 mark ( DistigousForest and MPApr2012 ) (it s a fail cause i rage called a console revive w9, and wouldnt have survive that last death just befor the vid start)

Yes i just recently tried nade again, and it s a cool tool in my tool box. I loose a bit on TB (10-15%) and fitness and barrier damage of conc shot. But i have more mook control and a stagger option when i m using adrenaline rush (the combo 2 tap claymore + nade is a good one) As for GethScanner, yeah, i just went for 2 runs with ArmoredComp, i have 2 more claymore shots, but i have no time to use my missiles, i die before w4 . Now,I rely on GS too much for my kiting route, i m intoxicated. I m already flanked very often, without GS, it s a nigthmare. I think i should pass. But maybe after a few more tries with nade, i ll go back to no nade, and see the high benefits of level 7 TB (radius maybe) and level 6 concshot and fitness. Nonetheless, once again, i was closer in my first tries that after 20-30 Damn, i would have close it with 7 gels last week
Now i m rusty with W8 and 9, i think i should work them specifically with lolconsole
