1) I'm going to create his character's look. I've got some good sliders around. I sincerely hope you're going to cut your hubby some slack and make sure she has red hair. Seriously. FemShep is the best Shep to play as a man, even if (or especially if) he ends up discovering his inner RPG lesbian. Forgot to mention: My husband only plays female characters if he can in games with a gender selection. His motto is, "Look, if I'm going to spend hours of my time looking at a character's ass, it might as well be a hot one." Works for me. He is thinking about getting his Captain Kirk on with Liara, but he's finishing up a few other games. I've made characters for da Sasquatch in games like the Saint's Row series. Most of his MMO characters were female too. He even did the romance arc for his female Bounty Hunter. He thought the romance was cute. He prefers black hair and blue eyes though, so I'll be building his Shepard with that in mind. Neither of us have a thing for redheads.

Next time!
--Visiting Luna to go see EDI the rogue VI and shut it down. --Geth bases for Tali --Look for the last Thresher Maw --Look for the site with the vision from the trinket that the Consort gives Shep --Start downloading and installing ME2, because I'm getting close to the end

Wow. A real goody-two-shoe your Shepard is. Can't I did all that in playthrough like what you did. Someone usually dies.

Wow. A real goody-two-shoe your Shepard is. Can't I did all that in playthrough like what you did. Someone usually dies. Oh, someone is going to die. Rana Thanoptis is going to bite the big one. On a meta level, she's not going to screw with my War Assets in 3. On a character level, Shep would have already seen the results of those experiments. She would not only want Rana dead for personal reasons, but she would have suspected the asari of being indoctrinated. Nat is a bigger goody-two-shoe than I will ever be as a person. She's moral, upstanding, and believes in the Alliance down to her toes. Poor thing. I will take her far more Paragade in ME2 though.

Great to see you post in ME! I really enjoyed your DA posts over at the old BSN "Let's say it's someone more trustworthy than you!" (Ouch! I'm actually liking these antagonistic exchanges ).
Yeeees, I loved these exchanges and it just keeps getting better So great to see such activity in this thread, makes me happy. I might jump back to playing ME tomorrow.

Great to see you post in ME! I really enjoyed your DA posts over at the old BSN Well, my DA PT has halted when the ruckus over the forum closure erupted suddenly. I was unsettled so I didn't continue with the PT. Probably would get to it some time. At the moment, I'm returning to Guild Wars 2 after two years hiatus. Also updating Star Citizen after a look at 3.0. That's some space exploration right there. Everything look so realistic; ships, planets, etc. Not sure I would continue with the ME2 start. Like I said, I can't tell if there's any difference in graphics. I keep thinking I didn't install the mod because the files don't look that big. Also have to pick up on my new ME fanfic's next chapter; the forum disruption really shot all my inspiration to pieces.

More Jonathan Shepard - lots of spoilers:
1. N7 mission to find a Cerberus operative who was being interrogated by Eclipse mercs. Subject was dead but I recovered a cipher that would have allowed Eclipse to decrypt Cerberus communications. Could have sent this to the Illusive Man or kept it myself, but I'm an Alliance man at heart. Sent it to the Alliance.
2. Headed out to Alchera. Creeped me out seeing the remnants of my old ship. I reminded me of my death. Very vivid memories of times on the SR-1. Pressly and Ash hit home the most since they both died. Found dog tags of 20 crew members who went down with the ship. Placed a monument to serve as a memorial to them. Hauntingly, my helmet was intact. Hard to imagine how I can be in one piece after planetfall. I sometimes question if I'm really me or some kind of Cerberus clone. Pressly's datapad was interesting, seeing how he went from pro-human/anti-alien to trusting the aliens on the SR-1 with his life. Maybe it's sacrilegious to do this on a Cerberus ship, but I placed the names of the deceased on a plaque on the crew deck of the SR-2. I won't forget them or their sacrifices.
3. Headed to Omega to recruit Archangel and the Professor. Ran into Zaeed Massani, a merc that Cerberus hired to join us. He mentioned a special mission the Illusive Man promised we'd take care of. Seems legit and I sent him to the Normandy while Lawson, Taylor and I headed inside.
4. Aria T'Loak, the owner of Omega, was expecting me. I went to see her and found info on Archangel. Got a lead and joined the local mercs - Blue Suns, Eclipse and Blood Pack - who were planning to kill Archangel.
5. I took Zaeed and Lawson on this mission. Archangel turned out to be none other than Garrus Vakarian. Good to know I've got someone who I can trust in the field. Still wish Tali had joined, but at least I'm a little less alone.

Miriam Shepard, Tali and Garrus went to Feros to investigate the geth's interest in the human colony there. There was something oddly reassuring about the Prothean ruins on Feros, constructed as they were from mundane concrete. Despite being technologically advanced beyond human comprehension, their architecture was at times simple and practical. The skyway could have been any motorway in any country on Earth. Shepard found the behaviour of the Zhu's Hope colonists troubling, with their reluctance to talk about anything, constantly deferring to Fai Dan. Stress from the constant geth attacks didn't explain it, and there was that troubled man living in the tunnels... Miriam's instinct was that Fai Dan himself was a wrong 'un, but with no hard evidence, she had little choice but to help the colonists with their food, power, water and geth problems before taking to the Mako for the journey to the ExoGeni facility. There was time for a quick stopover at the refugee camp, where Shepard assured Juliana that if her daughter Lizbeth was still alive, she'd be coming home. As expected, the ExoGeni building was crawling with geth. Quite how that Armature got into the little room is a mystery for the ages. (That bit was difficult enough the first time and was no easier in the replay!) That was an uncharacteristically restrained krogan attempting to access the ExoGeni VI. Good thing he didn't revert to type and destroy it, or the squad wouldn't have learned about the Thorian. After dismantling a legion of geth with extreme prejudice and destroying their dropship using only a malfunctioning shuttle bay door, Miriam and her squad escorted Lizbeth back to the refugee camp and forced corporate lackey Jeong to confess the truth about ExoGeni's operations. Summoning every ounce of willpower and charm, Shepard forced herself to sweet-talk Jeong into standing down, loathing every moment. She'd had a long day and would far rather have just shot the weasel, but that is not the Alliance way. By now, the Thorian had got desperate and had Assumed Direct Control of the colonists. With the aid of knockout gas grenades, Shepard neutralized them as threats without bloodshed. Well, nearly all of them; if only Fai Dan hadn't been so strong-willed, he might not have taken his own life. Descending into the ruins beneath the colony, Miriam and her squad laid waste to the Thorian's private army and its cheap asari knock-offs. (I do like the zombie horror feel of that part. I got both the "neural shock specialist" and "shotgun expert" achievements here, within a couple of minutes of each other. I also switched Garrus from sniper rifles to assault rifles 'cos he kept stealing Shepard's kills ). The asari clones had been duplicated from Shiala, a former acolyte of Benezia who fell first under Saren's thrall, then the Thorian's. Poor girl. After transferring the Thorian's preserved memories of the Prothean civilization into Shepard's head, Shiala resolved to join the Zhu's Hope colony and work as hard as she could to make it a success; her way of making amends for her past mistakes. So, Jeong, Shiala and all sixteen colonists survived. Paragon status: confirmed! Next up, a trip to the Citadel for a little breather before starting the next round of missions. In other news, Miriam earned her first Renegade points of this playthrough after an accident involving her shotgun and a pyjak on Eletania

Jonathan Shepard:
1. Had a chat with Jacob Taylor. He seems like a nice enough guy but also seems to have drunk the Kool-Aid when it comes to Cerberus. I know I'm on a mission and can do things my own way. I'm just using Cerberus. This guy is in deep. Still can't trust him.
2. Delivered a bottle of Serrice Ice Brandy to Dr. Chakwas. We drank it. Of all the many things we could have toasted to, we made it all about the drinking. I can hold my own but I'll admit to being slightly disoriented afterward. Chakwas was out.
3. Talked to Miranda. To her, this is a Cerberus mission. Not to me. I knew her loyalty was to the Illusive Man but she really believes Cerberus has humanity's best interests at heart. I guess she never had to clean up the bodies after their failed experiments.
4. Spoke with Garrus. As Archangel, he had formed a team of vigilante heroes to help the helpless of Omega. This is the guy I remember: always wanting to help, never interested in the rules. But he was betrayed and that's how he ended up on his own with three mercenary bands trying to kill him. Glad to have him back.
5. Visited Massani. Creepily enough, he's got surveillance of the ship set up for viewing in his room. Also, from this hold I can eject garbage into space. That's how you can tell this isn't an Alliance vessel. No way we'd send all these future missiles out into space to inevitably destroy some poor cruiser whose path it crosses.
6. Probably should have went for the Professor at this point but I wanted back into relatively safe space. Headed for the Citadel. They had declared me dead but Captain Bailey, with little more than the press of a button, changed it. Two years, three months and seventeen days since my last visit, according to the Avina VI. That drives it all home.
7. Bought some fish, a space hamster and started up my model ship collection.
8. Went to speak to the Council. I get air quotes from Sparatus in regard to the Reapers. The Council has decided to ignore all sense and pretend Saren somehow managed to rally the geth behind him and manufacture the most advanced ship ever seen in the galaxy. Even so, they reinstated my Spectre status and understood that working with Cerberus is only for the short-term while I investigate Collector attacks on human colonies. They did request I stay in the Terminus Systems (which is outside of Council space) so as not to appear to support Cerberus. That's where I need to be anyway and I'll stay there - most of the time. I am glad I suggested Anderson become the first human councilor when I still had the Council's full gratitude for saving them and the Citadel against Sovereign. Tried to find out about Kaidan Alenko, who it seems has been promoted to Staff Commander, but Anderson refused to say I word while I'm with Cerberus. Maybe he suspected Kaidan might drop everything and abandon his career to run with me.

Last night's log of events:
--Found the Cerberus bases. --Maxed out Electronics and Decryption on Garrus and Kaidan --Still missing one Thresher Maw. I forgot that there was a total of 4 to be found. --Grabbed the data for Tali --Dealt with the rogue VI. Listened to the rachni cry on Luna. Still creepy. --Had my first Game Over. Thank you, Ms. Thresher Maw --Got Assault Rifles maxed --Slept and now have ME2 starting to download.
I double checked my quest log and there isn't a lot left to do:
--Get the last grenade upgrade. I'm trying to get the best possible outcome for Feros. --Bring Down the Sky, which I'm looking forward to. --Noveria --Feros --Citadel --Ilos
For ME2 DLC, I have to go through the Cerberus Network to get them. When I do, I'm getting:
--Zaheed --Kasumi --Cerberus pack --Armor pack (for the Kestrel Armor) --Arrival --Overlord --Appearance Pack #2 for alt looks for Jack, Tali and Garrus. I mainly get it for Jack.

Like I want to find an optimal route to do the quests I tend to do that What I found surprising is that if you follow the main story, you will actually pass a lot of those quests on the way (if you don't take fast travel all the time). I used to run around right away once I got to the Citadel and do all available sidequests, now I just really follow the storyline and pick up the quests along the way, that's so much easier and faster. Alternatively, just doing the Keeper scan quest will lead me pretty much everywhere too

Like not doing Jaleed's quest right away. It kind of makes more sense if Chorban isn't already harassing him immediately. Plus, when you meet Chorban, he's dressed differently in the Wards, as if some time has passed.

However, one of them, is in the extreme northwest corner of one of the zones. You'll see a node that is either close to or technically in the red. Beware, there is a thresher maw in that region. Make sure the character that has the highest Electronics sticks with you no matter what. Otherwise, that's it. I know it feels like more, but that's all.

Oh hell. i've just doomed Ash. Also for my third run of ME it's going badly i've somehow managed to get Kirrahe killed. Gah!
Jenna's had a busy time, tracking down Helena Blake's dubious former business partners, taking out a thresher maw (Jenna's a sole survivor, she'd be happy if she never saw another one, alas that's not going to happen...) and dealing with out of control biotics. Two particularly odd things happened, firstly on Amaranthine, having spoken to Helena Blake, Wrex decided he wasn't going to sit inside the Mako, they rolled around the planet with his head poking through the roof, occasionally being clipped by the turret. He didn't do it on any subsequent Mako trip. Then as the gang roll around Virmire, running over geth and the like, Kaidan decides he's going to try using a sniper rifle. A sniper rifle, i couldn't equip Kaidan with one even if i wanted to.
Jenna's choice on Virmire is a toughy, she and I are very fond of Ash, she was my Sheploo's sweetie in the previous run, much to his surprise. However Scott was pretty damned heartbroken leaving his best mate Kaidan behind, so fair's fair.
Or it would be if my game hadn't just crashed post Virmire explosion. I've got to do it all over again! (Not all, probably just the Saren fight, which was blink and you miss it, Liara handled it. I guess she wanted revenge after Saren manipulated her Mum.)

Forgive the quote pyramid, but I don't have access to my keyboard atm. The what glitch? Edit: Got ME2 installed. The game came with Kasumi and Overlord, but I grabbed most of the rest. --Alt apperance pack for Jack. --My main man Zaheed. --Weapon and armor bundle, including the Aegis and Kestrel items. --Arrival Skipped: The other two alt apperance packs.

I can remember more: There's one on Edolus, Xawin, Trebin, Prestrop, Antibaar, Nepheron, Chohe, and two on Nonuel. So to fight three extra Thresher Maws, you could use the Lorik Qui'in glitch to max out both paragon and renegade to unlock both of the morality planets. Now I'm definitely going to have to count them!

On holiday on Dantooine. This whole "vengeance on the Jedi" thing gets very tiring after a while.

On Noveria, the Turian called Lorik Qui'in can be spoken too in an infinite loop where you can collect 25 paragon/renegade points over and over again. If you do this for both paragon and renegade, you can fill 80% of each morality bar to unlock two more uncharted world missions. This shows you how:

I remember that quest. Okay, I can give that a shot. It would be awesome to see more. I might have to try that for the sake of exploration. Thank you.

Well, this sucks.
I need a one-time access code to get into the Cerberus Network. It's supposed to be in a email attached to the PSN account. The problem is that I just looked and there is no access code anywhere. I've gotten receipts but no code. I've downloaded the PSN version.
Meep?

Maybe try googling the problem, or contacting EA support or something.
