I believe it was Biofan who pointed out that it also sounds like a countdown to blast off, which is very fitting for Andromeda.

BioFan (BioWare youtuber) made a great point in one of his videos in that if it is 3/21/2017 it's 3... 2... 1... launch! In that case, I hope they do it. But by all means release sooner, I'm not complaining!

Ok this may seem weird or just me for being out of the know for a long time. Why is everyone so sure this is the release date when it has yet to be confirmed? I wouldn't count on this being the actual release date. What they said is it would be released before the end of the fiscal year of 2017 which is around the end of march. Between what little amount of material that has been released and an earlier statement that said they were focusing on an actual pc version and not a port, you can expect it to be pushed back to the beginning or end of the summer. |

Ok. One thing about Bioware they are extremely persistent in that all their games have been released on a Tuesday. This isn't just a Bioware thing, this is how pretty much any new release is handled in North America. Games, books, DVDs, you name it, the vast majority are released on Tuesdays. ,.-~*´¨¯¨`*·~-.¸-(_MEA_)-,.-~*´¨¯¨`*·~-.¸

Spoke to merchandisers at future shop (years ago) and at other retailers. Tuesday it is.
Merchandise is sent out to cities on the weekend at designated distribution warehouses such that delivery trucks have time to deliver the stuff by 4-5pm Monday. Merchs go to stores early Tuesday (before opening) to put out the stuff on the floor.

And those kinds of dates already have proven true in many cases with other games, although there is no 100% certainty until the date is revealed. |

They're under pressure, but they expect to hit the release day. On Twitter they just reviewed the finale and seemed to be happy with it, and Gameinformer has already seen the beginning, and being typical of BioWare ending and beginning are usually finalized late in development.
