These videos are glorious in their awkwardness. They serve to humanize the people behind the game-people. Few other development studios care to even attempt this. You're going to spend a lot of time listening to one or both of them. That's honestly a cool thing, although I feel weird watching voice actors, or even seeing them sometimes. Which is why I tend not to watch the interviews. Just makes seeing/hearing them ingame a bit odd. Not all the time, though, it depends. |

Aye, but the video amounts to some silly fluff. Even if it's not everyone's cup of tea, it being called mean-spirited seemed a little... much? |

I...don't really get why people are so worried about the video, lol, it's pretty obvious Tom is just playing the straight man to Frydda's snarky comedian, which seems fairly in line with their personalities. It's a pretty classic comedy dynamic, not exactly some new evil sjw thing meant to emasculate male viewers or something, geez.
anyway, cute video. I doubt it's meant to be taken as a literal representation of the sibling's relationship, but still pretty darn funny, nonetheless.

K it's safe to say that Tom Taylorson is going to be my favorite Bioware VA if Scott sounds anything like Tom did in this video. His voice is sex. That chuckle.
I'm hoping the twins' inflections are consistent with this video. I want to play every sort of Scott (friendly, funny, salty) but I want it to sound authentic to Tom's voice (calmer, soothing, restrained). I want Sara to contrast with that.

Most likely (spoiler tag, just in case): At the beginning of the game, the cryo pod of your sibling will malfunction and you will be the only one who will join Alec Ryder in the first mission (along with Liam, or the rest of your squad).
Then, something will go terribly wrong, and your father will be killed, left in a vegetative state, or most likely, kidnapped by the Kett (or the Remnant technology) , and you'll assume his role.
(As we can see from the trailer they released, when he's about to touch something.)
The game will be about discovering what happened to him, or why, hence the Ryder's family mystery.
Your sibling will most likely be crippled from the pod malfunction for the rest of the game. Can't think of another reason for them not joining our squad, based on what was revealed.

I agree with that scenario Also, if Scott becomes the Pathfinder and Sara becomes pedantic and butthurt about it I might have to be even more of a dick to her Of course, I was pretty sure I was going to hate Thane in ME2 due to his reveal but then I ended up liking him. Maybe she will not be that much of a pain in the ass. |
