Just started a re-watch of Babylon 5. It's still one of my favorite shows

I saw this and thought I might post. Not sure if its still alive or not

I saw quite a few episodes of seasons 2 and 3 (I think) back in the 90s, but never managed to watch it consistently. A couple of weeks ago I found it on Amazon prime and thought I'd give a it a look, and I am really enjoying Mass Effect 1.0 (just joking, honest... mostly). It was a bit weird seeing the station and thinking - that's the citadel! There's even an Avina!

Glad you're enjoying it now. Back then, it was a killer, waiting for each season to appear. 

I believe there was one episode where the voice was replaced by Harlan Ellison's  

With the voice swap - it would be awesome if you could do that to ALexa/ siri/ google. Especially on someone else's device.

Got to 'War without End' - I think that's the best execution of a temporal loop/paradox storyline I've seen. I'm a little surprised it wasn't in the final season to provide a closed loop for the whole series, but I loved the use of the S1 Babylon squared footage intercut with the new.

I am literally just at "and the rock cried out" - that's kind of dark for a family friendly show.

I tried watching it and I fell asleep.

I'm too spoiled by all this high budget crap.

I don't want to get into the old ME3 ending debate, but the season 3 finale would have made a perfect 'Destroy' option - a smart, noble sacrifice, fitting for a renegade Shep. Just imagine Shep calling in the Normandy, stealth activated, filled to the gills with nukes. Perfect symmetry with the sacrifice on Virmire in ME1.
