Sure, I didn't say making trailers was an easy job.   It's not like you can make an appropriate depiction of a character in less than one minute, but it does feel forced. And yes, I'm dying for more info on ME:A squadmates too. But not too much, because I don't want to be spoiled.

Whilst a little more subtle than most of the other 'rarrr, kill' character trailers, the CGI here is I think the least successful.
Honestly I find the in-game animation to be preferable.

The CGI reminds me of Garfield...

Haha... same here! I was like 'here it comes, oh God...' and then, 'oh! He looks a bit... rubbery, but it's not that bad...' 
Anyway, it's Mordin, and I love Mordin, and I feel like it's the best of the five as it's the least contrived of them, but, yeah... These squadmate trailers could've been so much cooler. Still, I bet it was pretty exciting at the time to see them and speculate over them. As opposed to now... *looks despondently at Liam and Cora's HUD icons...*

I didn't care much for her. Even in the game I didn't like her at first. Then she started talking about her sister and to me that just showed that Miranda does have a deeply caring side to her.

Mass Effect 2 ~ Zaeed - January 25th 2010

Just sneaking in ahead of the ME2 Launch Trailer, is the Zaeed Day One DLC.

Yet free with purchase, so this was some kind of anti-piracy inducement?

I wonder if info from Shinobi about upcomming next trailer before this weekend turns out to be true...

Huh. An odd choice - as I've said elsewhere by the time I played the trilogy the whole thing, plus DLCs, was out already. Didn't realized the companion DLCs were free with day one like that. I always found it unfortunate that Zaeed and Kasumi were give the DLC treatment. Though hearing the stories of the objects in their rooms was pretty cool, and something I'd love to see more of, I didn't like that you couldn't have 'normal' cinematic conversations with them on the Normandy. Made them not blend in as seamlessly with the game, and made me feel like I never got to know them as well as the other squad mates. If Zaeed at least was ready day one, why not just treat him like all the other companions and put him in the original game? (Javik at least felt like he should've been there all along - I know the controversy with him was that you had to pay for him though, despite being released day one as well, but at least he didn't feel tacked on like that).

yeah but then they all sounded like a bunch of thugs aside from Garrus and Tali really but then that's what you get if you end up working for Cerberus.

ok, this is the kind of trailer that makes you want to play the game. it makes me want to play the game now, and it's only been a few weeks since I did for the nth time I LOVE the music

Now I'm even more hyped for today's trayler, if that was even possible

yeah indeed it was even toady it's probably my favourite game I own. Also that was well timed pytting the tralier up today considering today is ME2's birthday.

Hitting the ME2 launch trailer on its 7th anniversary was a complete fluke...
