Daily log of events! --Did Thane's loyalty mission. Once you figure out where that turian is going, it's the easiest one in the game. Well, his and Samara's. --Overlord. Might as well give it a quick review: 8/10. It showed the lengths Cerberus would go to in order to achieve their goals. It's the only DLC that can still make me cry to this day. The imperfect union of machine and man was chilling alone. One look at David and I misted up yet again. You can bet your ass I took that Paragon interrupt. Thankfully, the game showed mercy and did not crash during the DLC. The DLCs in ME2 can be pretty shaky, so I'm glad that everything turned out okay. --Fed my fish, and dinked around with my armor colors. Saved, exited and played with the dogs. Next Time! --LotSB. Gimmie the assault rifle upgrade I lost out on during Zaeed's quest. --Sidequests. Momma needs some more cash. --Back to Omega to help out a Krogan. --Possibly Arrival. Might have to wait until tomorrow.

Loaded up Mass Effect 2 today. At a loose glance at the save files, it's been two years since I played it last. Which is a bit longer than I thought. Anyways: Finished Overlord, got the IFF and Legions Loyality, did some science at the Normandy's bar and started the final mission with Carter. Finished Tali's recruitment mission, Jacobs and Jacks loyalty mission, flew the Hammerhead a bit and failed spectacularly at saving some crates with Kirstin. It was fun, frustrating, but fun.

After she left the moon, Lillith Shepard headed to Earth, where Admiral Hackett would detail what the Alliance spy drone had discovered before crashing onto Eletania. A Geth Incursion force had been discovered in the Armstrong Nebula, where it would threaten human colonies and military installations in the Traverse.
Shepards job would be to find four Geth outposts containing protected AI servers, and destroy them, paving the way for Alliance fleets to destroy the main Geth bases. However, the Normandy would have to be filled with supplies for the long operations in the far end of the Traverse, so Shepard first went to the Citadel.
While there, Lillith visited the Citadel to inform Garoth of what happened to his brother. Admiral Kahoku was also told about his missing team. Kahoku was angry when he heard they had been set up.
Two days later on the Normandy, Shepard received a call. It was Kahoku, who informed Lillith that Cerberus were behind the trap. As a black-ops cell, Cerberus had done top secret work for the Alliance, but they were rogue, performing horrifying experiments for there own gain. It seemed Shepard had another stop to make.
Binthu was one giant wasteland, a sickly yellow light shone down on the dull, uninteresting ground. A small bunker lay to the North, and the Mako headed towards it.
Once inside, the team saw a blue energy field, with a bunch of tiny green bugs crawling inside. Suddenly, gunfire came from an armed and armoured figure on the far end of the room. Shepard turned and threw out a hand, and the assailant tumbled backwards. All hell had broken loose, as a group of Cerberus commandos had appeared, firing their assailt rifles. A couple of shotgun blasts brought down the commandos, who had scattered. A few moments later, silence returned as the last of the commandos breathed his last and slumped into a corner.
In the next bunker, Lillith was prepared. A technician was huddled into a corner, operating a medical station. He crumpled, paralysed, to the ground, as Kaidan pointed his omni-tool. A number of commandos were also killed, as Shepard and Garrus fired their sniper rifles. Two large creatures crawled around inside the repulsion field.
The third and final base also held a number of Cerberus personnel. However, there were no animals in here. Just a man, face down on the ground, a syringe stuck in his right arm, a small datapad wrapped in his cold, dead fingers.
(I really liked the mournful music that played at that point, as you read the text box that talks about the needle)

Oh, i remember those crates, heh. I am supposed to do wh--- oh, da counter, da counter! I was running companion quests yesterday. Liara's stuff came close to boring, and I did not like the changes to the character, I preferred her as a scientist. Ran Miranda's mission, and took Jack's side after, because as much as much as Miranda tries to be oh, so very likable I just don't like her. Must be a girl's thing. Thane's mission drove me to distraction, I ended up cheating and watching it on the utube to do it correctly. Garrus' was the most fun so far! Good stuff

Jenna went to defend Tali, who was accused of treason by the quarian admiralty board (interesting take on what's to come for Shepard, I've never seen it like that before). Tali's father was involved in some fairly iffy science, but not on a Cerberus scale, not that it mattered since the whole affair was an excuse for the admirals to grandstand. Tali begged Jenna not to let the truth about her father's experiments get out, and Jenna respected her wishes. It didn't matter anyway since Jen used her awesome powers of persuasive shouting to convince the admiralty board that convicting Tali would be a huge travesty.
I wasn't paying a lot of attention, as reading this message board at the same time, but after finding Rael'Zorah's body, i noticed you couldn't see Tali's eyes or nose behind her visor any more. Had Tali turned up the the opacity on her helmet because of her puffy eyes? Or because she was afraid to show emotion infront of Shep and the Admirals? Also noticed Garrus sitting on the top step, after returning from the Alarei. Do all companions do this or just Garrus? Last time I took Legion (probably took Garrus on previous outings, i can't remember, I usually take Garrus everywhere.),it seems a little casual considering your friend and comrade is on trial.

Jack and Garrus do the same thing to me. I forgot what Legion does. I hate this part of the game though. The lines and Shep's behavior sucks if you're even remotely friendly to Tali. It'd be nice if Garrus patted her on the back or she sounded as turned on when talking to Reegar as she does Shepard. lol

Carter finished the main story today and visited the Lair of the Shadow Broker. He also smiled, which I hope will never happen again. He was supposed to be the handsome one Anyways. He's about ready for ME3, just debating whether to do Arrival or skip it. Also played a bit with Kirstin, she did the loyalty missions for Tali, Garrus and Thane and recruited Zaeed. She also spotted Garrus sitting down on the stairs, probably needed the rest after all the kicking the geth gave him. Now she is having a grand old time with Harby and friends. Ugh. But she can use shotguns now, so that's good. She got out and managed to seduce Kelly into feeding her fish.

Daily log of events! --I did a shitload of side quests. I was going to skip them, until I remembered the various upgrades that one can get. --I was feeding my fish like a mad woman. I missed my chance to seduce Kelly. --I prepared for the Arrival. Other than getting turned around slightly, I have a great time. I will admit, seeing the star system on the galaxy map going poof makes me a little sad. --Started the ME3 downloads. I'm beginning with ME3, then getting the rest in after that. I've picked up Javik, both weapon packs, Leviathan, the EC (duh) and Citadel. I'm skipping the MP packs since I don't MP at all. At least not for now. Next time! --Shopping on Tuchunka. They've got a couple of things I want. ---Back to Omega to help Patriarch. --Off to go get Legion, finally. --Tali's loyalty mission. You bet I'm bringing the geth along. --Legion's loyalty mission. --Last minute conversations. --Making sure ME3 and all the goodies are installed and ready to go. --The beginning of the end... themikefest I respecced Miranda and Zaeed based upon your recommendations in the SM thread. I took them out for a few sidequests to see how it plays out. That's a very sweet combination. Thanks again for suggesting it.

Finish Horizon, recruited Tali, did Jack's loyalty... now on Illium.. ready to do Miranda's loyalty then LotSB.
I think this a good way for Shep to remind themselves of Cerberus (not that that's hard for the player, but if I were to write the story in a book or something). Liara's revelation and Tela Vasir's condemnation is a good way to remind you to stick with Ash or Kaidan and what they said on Horizon. Or if you romanced Liara, a good way to dump her and go with Tali/Garrus/Jack/Thane. lol. I also like Jack's indirect presence in LotSB.. like Vasir calls you out on Pragia and Akuze and there's that big Wanted Poster of Jack, all while you're supposed to have some big reunion with Liara. Jack and Liara make for an awesome team though.

I forgot to go the Citadel early and have just started Illium. First time I've done that. I got some kind of news on the intercom about Kasumi, stealing some sort of Medigel formula. Vasir isn't surprised I'm alive though.. I guess that's an inconsistency. edit: Wait, Vasir works for the Shadow Broker. I guess that makes sense. This still makes me want to go back a few missions though.

<sigh> So ME3 is downloaded and installed, finally. I've got the two weapon packs in. Javik is about done downloading, with Citadel, Leviathan and the EC all in queue. Then I shut the PS3 down for awhile and let it rest. I'll knock out some laundry, then back to ME2. If my installs for ME3 go without issue, I'll probably have most if not all of ME2 done by the end of the night.

Download start time: 8pm Mountain Download end time: 3:20am Mountain Download list: ME3, Citadel, Leviathan, the EC, From Ashes and both of the weapon packs. That's how long it took me to download the ~20 gigs for ME3. The poor thing has been running the whole time, so I'm giving it a bit of a break. Thank the gods that the weapon packs took literally 3 minutes for both of them to install. I did take the time to find a really nice face code that requires no mods to look good. I'll admit, I'm going to miss gibbed for the makeup and hair mods. I'm going to try to get Legion tonight, but it's looking less likely that I'll get a chance to do anything else until after I wake up this afternoon.

I'm pretty late into my "final" trilogy run at this point, and I probably should have started posting in this thread sooner.
So, today I wrapped up Tuchanka, cured a sterility plague, lost the very model of a scientist salarian, and waded through a terrorist group's attack on the Citadel.
Also stopped by Noveria to take out a fighter base, in addition to the compulsive war asset scanning.

Morning log of events!
--Did Legion's recruitment mission once the ME3 stuff was done installing. Took Garrus and Tali with me. Bad idea. If you play a solider, you have zero crowd control with that group. That was a few Game Overs that I didn't need to have. If I had taken Jack and/or Samara instead of one of the dextro crew, I probably would have had an easier time.
Next time after sleep!
--Shopping on Tuchunka. I need that Biotic Damage upgrade. That's probably the last upgrade I can buy. We'll see.
--The Citadel, because the reaction from security if you have Legion makes me laugh.
--I found out that I had two missions after the IFF to do before the SM. After that, I have one to save the crew. Legion's loyalty mission doesn't count. So, if you're silly like me and missed a sidequest prior to the IFF mission, you can still do that before the abduction seuqence and Legion's loyalty mission and still save the crew. I'm currently wondering if the quest with Patriarch is worth the risk. I might have to skip it just to be safe.
--Tali's loyalty mission for sure. I actually like that quest and it has my second favorite Paragon interrupt in the series. Legion is going along for the double AI Hacking.
--If I skip the krogan quest (there's a good chance of that.) Legion's loyalty mission. Another one I enjoy, provided I bring the right group for my class. I'm missing playing an Infiltrator for now.
--Running around as Joker.
--Time for a rescue!

Tali would have her drone... but it has such a long cooldown Still, I had fun using Legion with the drone too. Garrus could use Concussive Blast and as a Soldier you could use that as well, and Squad Cryo Ammo or Incendiary Ammo should be pretty good. Of course it's too late now, but I always love trying out different squadmates (and maybe it encourages other folks too!), even if they're not the best fit. I ran with Tali and Garrus through almost all of ME1 as an Infiltrator. Awesome when there were geth, so-so when there were organics, OH FUCK when there were krogan

I just received my Xbox 360 copies of the games and started another playthrough. It is my first time playing the trilogy on a console.I played it o my laptop but now it has become too slow to really play anything on it. Downside is I have to spend a load of money to buy the DLC:( Anyway, today I just became a Spectre Also, I have a question. Does the 360 version come on TWO discs? Because my used ME3 copy arrived in a single disc box with only disc 1 available.I did contact the seller about it.I am waiting for an answer.

I gotta say, I feel that ME2 is doing a fine job immersing you in the lore after the info dumps in the first one. It really starting to come together.
I went to the Migrant Fleet with Tali. I liked the Quoran backstory and the character in the first part, but never really managed to fit her in a group. Her companion quest was great this time, and the migrant fleet is a pretty cool IP. Would love to do more with that. If I get a chance, I'd like to give Garrus a bit of a holiday and pair up Thane with Tali. Hope the game's not too short for it!
I have also did a boatload of research and debriefing talks with the companions. Am even more hopeful in respect to Thane's romance!
I am all cleared for Tuchanka missions now. Feels good to finally do Mordin's quest, I sure owe him that, lol. Just don't really like having to bring Grunt along because I am playing a soldier.
Also, starting to have the impulses towards playing other classes, mostly Engineer or Sentinel.

Picked up my ME2 Femshep today. Finished up on Illium and then went to Citadel to do loyalty missions for Garrus and Thane in one shot (the 2 for 1 deal to squeeze 6 missions in between Horizon and Collector ship). Shepard was very paragon towards Mouse since she was raised in the slums of earth and, I imagine, spent a little time as an earth version of a "duct rat" herself. She even got a copy of the Shepard VI from him. She pulled the specctre card on Kellam and got him to fess up Talid's name without selling out either Mouse or Bailey. She and Garrus were much less kind to Harkin and Sidonis, although Sidonis did get to continue living - as a walking dead man in the end. She realized that Garrus was comflicted about the whole thing after she stepped aside once and he hesitated taking the shot.

Oh, I know, but it's his home planet, so I figure I'd bring the big guy along. The way I do it now is talk to Shaman, but he says "be patient" and go prepare, so then I do Mordin's mission (usually w/ Miranda). Then come back for Grunt (usually w/ Jack). Heh... so I've head canoned that Grunt is doing some silly ritual during this time.
