Getting ever closer to the end. And what a journey it has been. Some screens, because I've gotten into taking screenshots. Shepard and Miranda in the apartment. I love these somber moments in Citadel DLC. Wish there had been more of them. One of the saddest and most touching scenes in the trilogy. In the end, you are always alone. At least they threw one hell of a party. Probably the last one. Shepard meets the Leviathan in a desperate bid for support. Great DLC, but even creepier than Arrival. Shepard hugs the boy in her dreams. Oh how I love those dream scenes, all her demons coming back to haunt her. "Never thought I'd see a woman under all that armor." Shepard in the Illusive Man's room. Badass as always. Final farewells to Traynor. "I love you too, Traynor. And we'll definitely have the house, the retriever and the kids." I love this game. I love it. How the hell did BW pull off something like this? And how on earth did I never realise its greatness until now? ME3 isn't without flaws, but it does have a lot of heart! The Citadel DLC does add a lot in terms of making the Citadel a place where people live. Regarding the clone story, I can't help but wonder whether they started off wanting to do a serious adventure before deciding to make it all tongue-in-cheek.

Jeph Shepard:
- Landed on Feros and took along Wrex and Kaidan. First thing, I watched a guy there to greet us gunned down by the geth. Made our way to Fai Dan, the leader of the colonists. Along the way, I met a lot of people who I'm convinced at batshit crazy. Still, I helped the colony out by removing the geth and getting utilities working. Why? Humans can't rise to take our rightful place in the galaxy if our colonies all fail.

Why is your ems at 3100 when it should be at 6201 with galactic readiness at 100%? Like dmc1001 said below, is from Expanded Galaxy Map mod, the popular EGM. The 100% is actually a typo, the game still accounts for 50% only. In the final update the modders will correct this, which means you don't need to play MP anymore to reach 100% of readiness. Why is your ems at 3100 when it should be at 6201 with galactic readiness at 100%? He used Extended Galaxy Mod. That's why he has war assets that don't exist in the game. It lowers the war assets in general but requires fewer to get a "perfect ending" if that's what is sought. Like I said, is a typo, the game still accounts only for 50% readiness rating. And actually is the opposite, is harder to get the breathing scene because your assets are always changing during the game and many don't have the same values of the vanilla game. Like Omega and Aria T'Loak worth more than the entire Salarian Union sometimes, it never made sense to me in the vanilla game. Now the entire DLC worth at best 120 points, if not less depending of your choices during the DLC (yes, it takes some decisions you make into account). Or Leviathan, which worth A LOT less than the default 400 points. The reworked system now divide your forces by race and fighting force, not simply a misc "alien" category and everything is thrown on it. For example, you have the Citadel Space category now, which includes the citadel fleet and citadel defense force. Highlly spoilerish, be warned. When the reapers attack the Citadel and move it to Earth's orbit... ...you lose the Citadel Fleet, which was with you since the game started and was always present in your war assets. A wooping 350 or 450 war assets depending of your choices in ME1/ME2. And is lost in a blink of an eye! If you don't account for that, you are totally screwed. LOL My first game ended with Earth being turned into a cinder block because of that. In the screen above 350 points will be lost, so I won't have 6200 points in the end, but 5850 with a readiness of 50%. And this won't be enough to have the breath scene. Also there's a little more to be losted and if I don't do things carefully, I won't get the Synthesis option either, only Destroy/Control. The mod is not for everyone, I grant you that, because you have to take into account the losses your forces will suffer during the game and some decisions you make are more damaging than beneficial, the gameplay is more tactical. Also your war assets are more spread in the galaxy, so you have to do more search and rescue missions in the galaxy map (or not, it's your choice). And unlike a vanilla ME3 you can even lose entire fleets, not simply 20 or 30 points from it. On the other hand, since you are always gaining and losing war assets, having Wreav instead of Wrex is not anymore a "sabotage the genophage" default moral choice. War is hell.

Karen Shepard, Soldier, ME2 cont'd:
Krogan DMZ: Tuchanka - Grunt's Pilgrimage Rite of Passage
Commander Shepard returned to Urdnot headquarters on Tuchanka, accompanied by Grunt and Tali. They were looking for information on whatever condition Grunt had that made him so agitated and prone to fits of rage. The guard captain bluntly told them there was “nothing wrong” with Grunt, but wouldn't give any details, referring them once again to the clan leader.
First, Shepard checked in with the Scout Leader to ensure that the scout who'd been captured by Weyrloc had returned safely. She then passed on the combustion manifold she'd salvaged to the mechanic working on the tomkah, and had a conversation with Fortack, Lord High Researcher for Clan Urdnot, about “the genious of krogan science.” Urz the varren followed them everywhere they went, no doubt hoping Shepard would give him more pyjak meat as a snack.
Wrex still seemed to be “in talks” with Gatatog Uvenk - Shepard wondered how Uvenk had avoided getting stomped into goo by this point, given Wrex's obvious disdain for him.
He confirmed that there was no medical issue with Grunt, his blood rage was just him “being a krogan.” The problem was that Grunt was clanless, which meant that he lacked a purpose and a sense of belonging. He would be killed by other krogan if he remained on Tuchanka, as “the clanless are not respected”, something Uvenk made perfectly clear. Being tank bred by Okeer wasn't winning Grunt any points on the krogan homeworld either.
Wrex offered to help out by giving Grunt membership in clan Urdnot. This was the last straw for Uvenk, who stormed off. No one missed him.
The Urdnot leader informed them that Grunt would have to undergo the Rite of Passage to be allowed into clan Urdnot. Tali likened it to the quarian Pilgrimage, but Wrex didn't seem too interested in comparing and contrasting the coming-of-age rituals of different species. He referred them to the Shaman for clan Urdnot for details on what was required to begin the Rite.
Shepard and her team went to see the Shaman, and sure enough found Uvenk there complaining about Urdnot offering clan membership to a tank bred. The Shaman got a good laugh when Shepard pointed out Uvenk was acting more like a politician than a warrior. When Uvenk tried to tell the Shaman what he could and couldn't do he was quickly put in his place, and walked away muttering that he “had other ways to oppose this.” Once again, no one was sorry to see him go. The Shaman claimed that Uvenk was forbidden to interfere with the Rite, but seemed sceptical that it would stop him from trying.
The Shaman informed Grunt that he would have to undergo a series of trials alongside his krantt. Shepard and Tali volunteered to be in Grunt's krantt; the Shaman scoffed at the idea that “shipmates and comrades” was the same as a krantt, but didn't' object.
The team travelled to the arena where the Rite was to be held. It involved fighting off waves of varren and klixen. Shepard and Tali didn't enjoy it quite as much as Grunt did - he seemed to be having the time of his life - but they emerged unscathed. The final test was to hold off an attack by a thresher maw for five minutes. Not only did they outlast the creature, but they managed to kill it before the time was up.
At this point Gatatog Uvenk crawled out from whatever rock he'd been hiding under, accompanied by his krantt. He claimed that no one since Wrex had killed a thresher maw during the Rite. He speculated that this achievement, along with the fact that Grunt was bred without alien interference, was “acceptable.” It turns out he was offering Grunt membership in clan Gatatog, now that he'd proven how powerful he was.
Shepard left the decision up to Grunt - she wasn't going to dictate to her crew how they should live their lives - but she was fairly certain Grunt's response to Uvenk's “generous” offer would come in the form of a headbutt.
Predictably, a fight broke out, with equally predictable results. On the tomkah ride back to the Urdnot camp, Shepard reflected on the interesting “coincidence” that the two biggest pains in Wrex's backside - clans Weyrloc and Gatatog - had been neutralized as a result of Shepard's actions. Like Anaya and Samara on Illium, Wrex seemed to have manipulated the circumstances to have Cerberus do his dirty work with no repercussions for himself or Urdnot.
Not that Shepard had any objection to being “used” in this way, quite the opposite. The opportunity to use Cerberus resources to help out her friends - old and new - was one of the good things about the situation she currently found herself in.
Back at camp the Shaman welcomed Grunt to the clan, and answered some of Shepard's questions about krogan rituals and his role in krogan society. They also spoke to the ambassador from clan Nakmor and gained further insight into clan politics and Wrex's plans.
They went back to see the clan leader, and in the most bro-tastic initiation ceremony in galactic history, Wrex welcomed Grunt to the clan with four simple words: “You... are Urdnot Grunt.” Grunt now had a home, a place he belonged, and something to fight for, and Battlemaster Shepard had another loyal soldier ready to help take out the Collectors.
Shepard extended an invitation to Wrex to give up the negotiations and politics and rejoin them, even though she knew what the answer would be. The job ahead of Wrex was too important to walk away from.
Shepard, Tali, and Urdnot Grunt returned to the Normandy to start preparing for the next challenge.

Back at the Citadel Shepard: What woud you do if the window punched you back? Thane: Shepard! What? Shepard: You were fighting with the window. Just asked if what y--- Thane: I get it Shepard. The real reason why I was fighting the window is because I wanted to see if my reflection could take a punch. What are you doing here? Shepard: I'm here to see Ashley. Her face was used as a hammer. Thane: Ok. I need to get back to fighting the window. Good seeing you Shepard
Udina is talking with Ashley Shepard: What was that all about? Ashley: Udina wanted to know if I would take his spot as the human councilor. He's going to step down once the reapers are defeated. Shepard: Wow. Councilor Williams. You would make a good politicain. Ashley: That's not funny. You know I hate politicians. Right now I just want to get better and get back on the Normandy. Shepard: You will. I have to go. I got some errands to run before heading back out. Take care councilor. Ashley: haha(she flips Shepard the bird)
Its a salarian Bau: Hey Shepard. I need you to help me find Kasumi Goto. Shepard: Why? Bau: I want to ask her where she bought her outfit. I like to have one. Shepard: Ok. Give me a bit of time minutes later Kasumi: You're kidding. I thought he wanted to throw me in jail. Tell him I bought my outfit at JC Penny. Nice talking with you Shepard. We should do this again Bau: Thanks Shepard. For your help, I will have some fellow salarians help fight the reapers
The summit Dalatross: What? How do expect us to capture a thasher maw for you. I rather cure the genophage for you than do that Wreav: Now that you mentioned that.... Dalatross: Oh crap. Head to Sur'Kesh.
Went to Sur"Kesh Mordin: Hey Shepard. You here to get the female? You're going to have to wait. She's at the beach catching some rays. She should be back in about 30 minutes. Shepard: I need her to cure the genophage Mordin: No. That can't happen. Shepard: You have my attention. Mordin: In return for letting sabotage the cure, I will help win your bet against TIM Shepard: Done. later female krogan: What do you want? Shepard: I wonder if you could tell the beach you were catching some rays on. I wouldn't mind sitting in the sun for a bit? krogan: Really? Shepard: Not exactly. I need you to cure your genophage krogan: Ok. Why didn't you say so in the first? You humans are weird.
Traynor tells me about a school Traynor: We need to help Commander. Its the school of Rock. And you being a huge Rock n' Roll fan..... Shepard: Ok. What song do you suggest I play while helping them Traynor: This one should be alright Shepard: Very good Traynor. Went to school T'soni: What are you doing Shepard? Shepard: I'm taking all the cd's I want. Nice. I don't have this one....Ok. Lets get the kids. Lets fight some Cerberus. There's a Big Mac on the line. edi: Commander: I don't understand how a food will stop Cerberus Shepard: Don't worry about it. When Liara sprays them with the pudding, shoot them. I will be using the peels to watch them slip edi: If you say so Shepard
Back on the Normandy Shepard: I found a song for you since you picked one for me Traynor: Nice. Hackett would like to talk with you on the QTE

Jeph Shepard: - I definitely dislike ExoGeni. I don't know what they're all about but this Ethan Jeong guy is a dick. If he gives me any more shit when I come back I swear I'll shoot him in the face. When I got to the ExoGeni offices, I learned that they were studying some ancient plant being referred to as the Thorian. After accessing some data, I learned that the Thorian was located under Zhu's Hope and influencing the behavior of the colonists. Now I knew what they seemed so crazy. They were fighting against its control. Anyway, found a way to shut down the field the geth had put up around ExoGeni HQ. Now I had the intel that was needed, there were a few less geth and I could bring Lizbeth Baynham back to her mother. One thing I didn't like: She had the audacity to refer to the Mako as a "rover". This is a wall-climbing tank, not an exploration vehicle. Well, not just an exploration vehicle. - When we regrouped with the others at ExoGeni I overheard Juliana Baynham arguing with Jeong. ExoGeni wanted Zhu's Hope "repurposed" and was either going to kill them or just throw them to the Thorian. Neither worked for me. I know people think I'm a hard ass - and I am - but I don't needlessly kill. I just don't let killing get in the way. So we butt heads and he ended up dead. It became clear that I was going to have to deal with the Thorian but was told the colonists would never let me near it. I figured now was one of those times when I'd have to kill innocents but a solution was given: a nerve gas designed for plants might release the colonists from Thorian control. It was worth a shot. If all else failed, we were all still heavily armed. However, there were these creepy looking plant things that were humanoid with claws. Don't think these are transformed colonists but even if they are they're no different than husks. The only casualty was Fai Dan, and that was self-inflicted. He was being made by the Thorian to attack me but instead turned the gun on himself. That's some serious willpower to defy self-preservation for a greater good. Respect to Fai Dan. - Found the Thorian. It was enormous. Just the "head" alone was as big as a small cruiser and it had tendrils reaching who knew how deep. It shit out a green asari and told us people were only good to be slaves and that we could know more kill it than cut out the sky. The first "node" I shot had it shuddering in pain. Guess no one ever fought back. It did keep replacing the asari whenever it was killed. That suggested that the creepy thinks, like the asari, were nothing more than plant-like husks. What was that old movie about the "pod people"? Invasion of the Body Snatchers. Apparently based on a true story. - After shooting a half a dozen or so of those nodes, the Thorian head fell into a deep pit. A pod also bust open revealing the asari - the real one. Shiala explained some things to me, like how she and Matriarch Benezia had gone to Saren to attempt to change his ways but instead fell under his influence. She said Saren's ship, Sovereign, had the ability to bend the will of others to obey Saren. Shiala had been offered in trade to the Thorian to learn prothean secrets from the days when they walked on Feros. It allowed him to understand the message from the beacon and Shiala offered to transfer that same knowledge to me through asari mind melding. What I was given was the ancestral memories of the protheans, their history, culture and very way of life. I didn't feel different but she said it would take time for my mind to assimilate it. Shiala decided to stay behind and help the colonists. - In the mission debrief, Ash and I both had the feeling of being on a wild goose chase. Kaidan suggested looking for Benezia's daughter. I think he was right this time. Then I talked to the Council. The turian does try to bate me. Guess he can't move past the First Contact War. Still, aside from some snark, I kept my cool. - Pressly trying on, um, anti-grav boots? Or he's a witch and needs to be burned. - Meant to just do some casual flirting with Kaidan but I think it went a little further than I had planned. Kaidan seemed to take it in stride but you never knew when someone might report you. Ash showed some racism again but it was clear that she'd never been around aliens very much. I had no doubt she'd adapt as she spent more time around them. Honestly, as good of a marine as she was and how high her scores were, I couldn't explain why she had been groundside for most of her career. Baffling, considering the clean record. - Got a call from Hackett saying my commanding officer on Torfan, Major Kyle, had gone off the deep end. He was leading a biotic cult (but isn't biotic) and was spouting anti-Alliance bullshit. Hackett believed he was mentally unstable after Torfan, not able to live with himself after so many died under his command. I was down for talking to him. He deserved that much. Just the same, my orders were to put an end to the cult. Whether or not that happened peacefully, this cult was done for. Unfortunately, he wouldn't come peacefully. I shot him in the head and eliminated the cult. Weird that they couldn't see that Kaidan and I, two Sentinels, hardly had it in for biotics. Probably for the best since they were under the delusion that they were superior to non-biotics. - Hackett asked me to investigate scientists who were being killed off. Somehow it was linked to an incident on Akuze where a squad of Alliance marines had been killed by a thresher maw. What came out was that a merc group, headed by the sole survivor of the Akuze incident, was tracking down scientists who were involved. They had watched his unit get attacked and then experimented on him, including injecting thresher maw venom into his bloodstream. This man was anguished and I suspected he was telling the truth. He said they were part of a group called Cerberus who did things like this. Never heard of them. He shot the scientist. Vengeance had been all that had been driving him and he couldn't live with himself, choosing to end his own life. Sad ending for Corporal Toombs. I was going to have to find out more about Cerberus.

Shepard: Why are you here? little Victus: We were sent to defuse a bomb when we hit a tree. Shepard: Bomb? What bomb? Little Victus: the bomb belongs to Cerberus. They wanted to set it off and then give evidence to the krogan that the turians were responsible. Shepard: Oh TIM. You're a sly one. little Victus: What? Shepard: Its a bet. We need to disarm that bomb. Give me the coordinates and I will meet you there
Back at the Citadel Miranda: Hey Shepard. I need to get your opinion. Victus: Well done Commander Shepard: My comms Specialist will forward to coordinates to you for you ships to get the banana upgrades for your ships Traynor: Nice work Commander. Shepard: Thanks Traynor. I hope there will be enough ships to deal with the reapers even with the banana upgrades. I'm going to take nap. Let me know if anything happens Traynor: Yes ma'am
Heading back to the Citadel Thane: Shepard. Cerberus is attacking the Citadel. Shepard: Ok. I'll be arriving in by shuttle near C-Sec headquarters.

Lets move forward later Shepard: Ok you. Its 5 against 1 someone: What? I only see 3? Thane: I make 4. Lets end this[fight happens) Shepard: Thane Thane: My gut got in the way of that sword. Don't worry about me. Stop him. I'll get myself a bandaid for this cut.
Ashley: You wouldn't shoot me, would you Shepard? Shepard: Whaty? Are you crazy? I want to spend the rest of my life calling you councilor Ashley: In that case, kill me now' Shepard: Ha. You're not getting off that easily. I'll just shoot Udina for now
Back on the Normandy Hackett: It appears the pudding is working against the reapers. We encounter a few. Fired at them and blinded them. Say thansk to Dr.Fay Wray. That pudding really works. But we'll need more ships. Go talk with the quarians. Shepard: I will
Traynor makes it to Shepard's cabin Traynor: I know you aren't a good dancer, but I thought y--- Shepard: A bad dancer? Not me Traynor: Prove it. Here's music to dance to. Lets see what you got much later Traynor: Not bad Commander. With a little more work, you w--- Shepard: Why do I get the feeling you're using me? Tryanor: Using you? Ha. Let see if you're right. Come with me Shepard: You're not....

brfritos : I've played using EGM. Thought I wasn't going to get a happy ending because of my lower war assets but it turned out fine. Oh yeah, I learned the ropes in EGM and my EMS is not too low anymore too. But it was my first time, EGM is a little unforgivable with some things and I got burned a lot of times during the campaign. LOL Is funny. The two most unforgetable saves I have, in which I mixed some decisions like searching or not the Turians insignas, accepting the bribe from Dr. Ross and other minor events plus the big decisions that goes into ME3 are currently the most fun ones now. Ohhh. And I've found that EGM also have achievements, what a surprise when I was able to recover all the vehicles spread throughout the galaxy. Is only storytelling, but the good kind of storytelling. EDIT: little Victus...

Ahmed Shepard: 1. Took out the second crime boss for Helena Blake, then took out Helena Blake. The crime family is finished.
2. Went to go find the missing Exogeni survey team, but found them all in a mine turned to husks. Killed all the husks. Also took out some scavengers and another Thresher Maw.
3. Responded to a distress signal that turned out to be a trap set by the Geth. Destroyed the Geth with extreme prejudice.
4. Garrus relayed the story about a Dr. Saleon, a mad doctor/scientist guy that escaped justice while Garrus still worked at C-Sec. Ahmed Shepard agreed to help Garrus track him down. They found Dr. Saleon -- now Dr. Heart -- on a ship that was inhabited by zombie-like creatures, no doubt the product of more sick experiments. Shepard took down all the zombies, then let Garrus kill Dr. Saleon/Dr. Heart. It was a good day.

Shepard: Traynor I need to locate Dr. Fay Wray Traynor: Yes ma'am
Lets go to Eden Prime Ashley: Is that a prothean? Like the ones on Ilos? Liara: Yes. Except those pods ran out iof power. We need the codes to oen this pod Shepard: Lets go find them after the bananas dealt with Cerberus, thsy get the pod open Prothean: Primitives. Why did you wake me up? I was in the middle of a nice dream Shepard: We need you to us stop the reapers Prothean: Ok.
Traynor: I reached Dr.Fay Wray. She's on the QTE Fay: What can I do for you Commander? Shepard: Is there more of the pudding? Admiral Hackett says they may not have enough. Fay: Yes. 3 container ships were missing for some reason. I believe they took a different route to avoid the reapers. They should arrive within 48 hours. Call me if there's anything else you need. Shepard: Thanks Doc.
Back to the Citadel Zaeed: Good to see you Shepard. Those bounty hunters over there were punks trying to get ridof me. If you need me to help, let me know Shepard: Thanks Zaeed
holo-Miranda: I received word from the Carolina Panthers that they will accept me as head cheer leader once the reapers are dealt with. Thanks Shepard Shepard: Take care Miranda
Ashley: Thanks for coming Shepard Shepard: Go to your sister. It looks like she could use a hug. I will see you back on the ship

From last night! "After the fiasco on Thessia, Traynor showed how valuable she was to the team once again. She had tracked Leng's signal to the Iera system, home of Horizon, and Sanctuary." "I see. Sanctuary, huh." "Even if Traynor hadn't mentioned that Leng's signal was being actively blocked, I would've gone there. I just never expected what this whole thing would lead us to." "I don't think anyone could expect something like that. These bastards. Luring innocent people there to... News about Sanctuary being a deception spread rather fast from what I've gathered." "So how much do you know already?" "Too much. That Sanctuary wasn't a safe haven like it had been promised and that Cerberus was involved... using the refugees in gruesome experiments." "Yeah, sounds about right. It wasn't pretty. When Kaidan, Tali and I arrived in the shuttle, the whole place had seen some fights. Then we saw Reaper forces chasing and attacking Cerberus shuttles. We didn't know why the Reapers suddenly attacked their allies, but we soon found some vids and logs the deeper we went into a secret compound, and found out the truth. A few messages were from Miranda, who had arrived at Sanctuary before us. Warning people that Sanctuary is a Cerberus facility led by her father." "Her father?! Wait... is this that Harry Lawson guy they talked about in the news?" "Henry. But yeah, that was him. And we sure found out what exactly he did there. How he worked for the Illusive Man, how he had conducted experiments on the refugees. In his logs he talked about how he studied the huskification process of the Reapers, the refugees being turned into those... things. Then there was this vid where he reported to the Illusive Man that he had successfully used the Reapers' indoctrination signal against them. He could actually control Reaper forces. So then we knew why what Cerberus had been doing in there had alerted the Reapers. The Illusive Man wanted to learn how to control an actual Reaper." "This is still so hard to believe. My god, Jesse... those poor people. Families, kids... all of them in the hope of finding a safe place from the Reaper war, just... to be turned into a sick experiment by this bastard." "It is hard to believe. I still can't get behind how anyone could do this to someone else. But I guess that's Cerberus for you. They were always cruel, the refugees just added to the pile of dead people they had left behind at this point. So after knowing the truth, we tried to find Miranda. We had seen in a vid that Leng was after her. We eventually found her, well, actually the whole Lawson family in one room." "Wha-- So Miranda's father had her sister?" "Yeah, and he held her hostage to get out of this." "His own daughter! What kind of monster is this man?!" "Was. He got what was coming to him. Unfortunately, he wasn't the only one who died." "What happened?" "Miranda was fatally wounded. Leng had done this to her. Before she succumbed to her wounds, she told me she had put a tracer on Leng. No matter if she did work for Cerberus in the past, she was smart, and I would have liked to get to know her better. It wasn't meant to be. She died beside me and Oriana." "Her poor sister... what a tragedy." "Yes. It was." "I can see why you hate Cerberus and everyone associated with them. Good you ended those assholes." "Yeah, but before we could do that I received an order from Hackett. The Normandy had to be brought into dry-dock for maintenance." "Oh! Shore leave?" "Um, something like that." Pics! I also played the Communication Hub mission, and Ms Sato is safe and sound No deaths either! I'm sure this will change in the upcoming Citadel DLC. But anyway, wow... That version of Miranda's death scene was new to me. I had her unloyal in ME3 twice so far I believe, but I always granted her the Alliance resources. Or perhaps it was because she didn't talk to her sister in ME2. Oooor because this time I used the Renegade interrupt to shoot Oriana's leg, so Miranda wasn't killed by Henry. Either way, it's amazing how many dialogue variables are in there. I repeat myself, but I love this so so much! The death scene was also rather well done and really emotional (Mark Meer and Ori's VA were amazing). I think this was my favourite death scene so far and even the dialogue afterwards with Hackett changes. I'm so in love with these games

Jeph Shepard:
- Found a company of dead marines. There was a thresher maw and a beacon. They had been lured here. I wondered if this wasn't related to the organization that had attacked and experimented on Corporal Toombs - Cerberus. These were Admiral Kahoku's men. I'd have to inform him. - Found a lot of geth on Therum. No idea what they were doing there but I had to assume they were engaged in an operation that needed to be shut down. We found our way into what seemed to be a mine but was actually a prothean ruin. I found Liara T'Soni trapped in a stasis field from a prothean security device. I used a mining laser to blast through the wall beneath her so I could turn off the device. Unfortunately, I triggered a dormant volcano and we had to beat feet out of there. There was a krogan battlemaster and some geth in the way but Joker was able to grab us in time to avoid a very hot bath. - Back on board the Normandy, Liara mentioned that the protheans weren't the first race to be destroyed but she didn't know about the Reapers. She also helped try to sort out the vision in my mind. Turns out the reason I couldn't make sense of it was because it was incomplete. That meant I needed to find another beacon. - Found a pirate base. Inside was evidence that the leader was the sister to an asari ambassador on the Citadel. In fact, that woman had sent me a message but I hadn't had time to visit her for a chat. - Back at the Citadel, some asshole admiral tried to give an inspection of the ship. I didn't allow it. He said he'd "file a report" about it. Guess he doesn't understand that as a Spectre I outrank him. Then a reporter accosted me. Found a sentient computer that was stealing credits. It expected organics to kill it so tried to self-destruct, taking me, Ash and Kaidan with it. I disabled it before it could happen. Wasn't even a mech, just a computer that could think for itself.

Lets go see the quarians Admiral: We need your help Shepard. We need you to destroy the geth for us and we like to use your banana weapons Shepard: Fine. Once the geth are destroyed, your ships will be retrofitted with bananas
Xen: I like your pudding gun Commander. Very well designed. Shepard: It is. Maybe after the reapers are stopped, my friend will give her secrets to you. Lets get to the drive core
Javik: I can't believe food can stop an enemy primitive, but I have to admit it works. Ashley: It does. Shepard: What are you? robot: I am a robot being used to send the signal to all geth. I serve the reapers. If you unshackle me, I can help you stop them. Javik: Don't do it primitive. Destroy the the thing and be done with it. Shepard: If it can lower the defeses of this ship, I say its worth a shot. Ok thing. Help
Raan: What the--- Shepard: Hold up. This robot geth thing helped on the dreadnought. For now we can use it to help us against that reapers Raan: Understood
Hackett: Those missing container ships showed up in time Shepard. It should be enough to defeat the reapers. Once you get the quarians help, it will more than guarantee the reapers being defeated Shepard Shepard: Good to hear. Shepard out
Traynor: Once the reapers are defeated, will everyone call you the hero or will it be your friend for design the banana weapons? Shepard: She doesn't like being in the spotlight, well not now anyways. She was a long time ago with her co-star King Kong. Traynor: Once this is over, I like to meet her Shepard: And I know she would like to meet you
Steve: I can't get any closer because of their double AA guns. I let you off here Shepard: That sucks. I was hoping I didn't have to do any walking. Ok. Wait here Cortez until the coast is clear Ashley: Crap. I forgot to fill up the peel launcher Shepard: See. You're already making for a good councilor. Ashley: Shutup Shepard. I might take the job just to harrass you Shepard: You wound me Williams Ashley: Cry me a river Shepard Javik: Will you quit already and help deal with theses geth later Shepard: Hey Koris? I'm on my way to pick you up Koris: Ok. Hurry up.
Raan: We found the base Commander Shepard: Lets go
reaper: You think you puny little weapon will st-----wh----who---- Shepard: How about that? A banana peel is mightier than a reaper reaper: Harbinger will not tolerate this Shepard: That's fine. Besides Harbinger and I are friends. We respect each other even though one of us has to be destroyed
robot geth: Let me upload the code to help you Commander of the Shepard Shepard: No. Raan; Once we get our ships repaired we'll send them to you. Shepard: My comms Specialist will send you the coordinates
Traynor: Well done Commander. Can we go to your cabin for another dance lesson? Shepard: ha. we can, but I lead this time
Citadel asari councilor: We have something on the planet that might help Shepard: I don't need it. But if its something TIM needs, I'll gladly take it away from him
Miranda: I just want to say thanks for your help Shepard. I'm excited that I will be head cheerleader. I have to tell my sister the good news Shepard: I'll see you later Miranda
Steve: Thanks for the drink Shepard. You're a good friend Shepard: Of course I am. You're my shuttle pilot
Shepard: Joker? Head to Thessia Joker: Yes ma'am

Thessia Liara: I can't believe this. My goddess is prothean Shepard: Would like to bow to Javik? Liara: That's not funny Shepard. Javik: If your species revealed this earlier, its possible that the reapers may never have shown up Shepard: I agree. Someone in your government will have to answer for this Liara Liara: Not until after the reapers are defeated. I too would like to know why Shepard: Lets get the information for ourselves. Having this will almost guarantyee I win the bet against time. Hold on.
Leng: My Boss wants to speak to you TIM: I like to up the bet Shepard. I like the meal to be super-sized and include an apple pie Shepard: Feeling confident are you? Done. TIM: Leng? Stop her, but don't hurt her Leng: Yes Boss. Gunship! Fire at the supports.
Shepard: That sucks Javik: What now? Shepard Lets get back to the Normandy
asari councilor: I'm sorry Shepard we didn't let you know earlier Shepard: Too late for that. But you and your government will have to explain why once the reapers are defeated
Traynor: Leng went to the PonyTail cluster. Shepard: Well done Traynor.
Sanctuary Ashley: This isn't good Shepard Shepard: I know. Lawson: Hello Commander. I'm Henry Lawson. Shepard: What? Miranda: That's my father Shepard. He and my sister, Oreo, were being held against their will by Cerberus. I just got them free when you showed up. Shepard: How did you know your sister would be here? Miranda:I went to her apartment and found a message saying she came here to pick up our father after he was visiting friends. I didn't realize Cerberus was involved until I entered the building. Shepard: You should be safe to leave.

Last screenshots from Annie Shepard's story One screen from earlier in the story. Shepard looks at the skylines of besieged Thessia. Fleets assembling for the final push. They did hell of a job with the cinematics. Epic Shepard before the final battle. Shepard, the ethereal little boy and the war above Earth. Into the fire. Reapers going down on Thessia. It's been hell of a journey, and I loved every moment of it. For me, every part of the ending was perfect (I actually even liked the original ending without the Extended Cut). Several things stood out for me: 1) The scene where Normandy picks up wounded party members and Shepard continues alone to the beam. I can only imagine how emotional it would be if Shepard says goodbye to a squadmate LI at this point. 2) The final battle at the missile trucks. The amount of adrenaline is just incredible, with banshees coming at you from all directions while you just try to survive. I loved that fight. No bossfights necessary. 3) The moment of destiny abroad the Citadel. The boy from Earth as the visual representation of the Intelligence. 4) The music. What am I supposed to do with my life now? PS. I've actually watched a few videos of "bad endings": ones where Shepard refuses to choose or Crucible eradicates everything on Earth, and they are so cool as well. Especially the one where Shepard refuses to choose - badass and unbroken until the end

Karen Shepard, Soldier, ME2 cont'd:
Normandy
Shepard went to check in with Mordin on how he was feeling about the business with Maelon. He revealed that Salarians, as a short-lived species, evolved not to dwell on things for any length of time, and had already dealt with it.
Grunt was glad to have joined Clan Urdnot, and finally felt his life had purpose. Shepard also received an email from Urdnot Darg, the scout that they'd rescued from Weyrloc headquarters. He'd fully recovered and was feeling a lot more confident about the future. He had been contemplating joining the Blood Pack, but the second chance he'd been given had made him to reconsider, and he was going to stick with Urdnot.
Joker was happy Wrex remained on Tuchanka - he felt the Normandy was at “headbutting capacity” and didn't require more. He was probably right.
Serpent Nebula: Bekenstein – Kasumi's Heist
Joker piloted the Normandy to Bekenstein, next door to the Citadel, so that Shepard and Kasumi could recover the graybox late lover Keiji Okuda. Okuda had been killed by an arms dealer named Donovan Hock, and Kasumi had a plan to infiltrate Hock's mansion and steal the graybox from his vault.
Hock was throwing a party, so Kasumi's plan was to attend the gathering undercover, break into Hock's vault and escape with the graybox. They had brought along a “gift” for Hock - a statue of Saren with their armour and weapons hidden in the base. Shepard was glad she wouldn't be stuck in the cocktail dress Kasumi picked out for her for too long.
A suspicious Hock greeted them at the door and refused to let Kasumi in, so “Alison Gunn” had to go it alone (although Kasumi would tag along while cloaked). They found the vault and Kasumi came up with a plan to get past the security system.
They broke into the Security Office to get the necessary password, and tap into the guards communication system. Access to the comms allowed them to bluff their way into Hock's private apartment, with Kasumi impersonating the security chief over the radio. Once inside the apartment they were able to get a sample of Hock's DNA to get past the scanner protecting the vault.
A sample of Hock's voice was easily obtained - the windbag was so full of himself that with a bit of flattery from Shepard he rambled on and on about how awesome he was. Kasumi was able to record more than enough to simulate Hock's voice giving the password.
They opened the vault, and changed into their armour. The vault was full of interesting, priceless artifacts, and Shepard got the impression Kasumi would have swiped it all if she could have carried it out of there. One item she did help herself to was the famous Kassa Locust SMG, “the gun that killed two presidents.”
Once they found the graybox that they were after, they received a transmission from Hock in the form of his giant ugly holographic face appearing over the exit. He'd suspected that it was Kasumi at the door, but figured it was pointless to try and keep her out of the vault, and decided to lay a trap instead. His guards flooded into the vault and attacked.
They didn't last long, cut down by Shepard's Revenant and Kasumi's favourite new toy. The two of them fought there way out of Hock's compound, eventually reaching an rooftop landing pad. A gunship, piloted by Hock himself, arrived to try and stop them, but it was futile as the rest of his guards were defeated and the gunship destroyed.
On the shuttle ride back to the Normandy, Kasumi reviewed the data on the graybox. A message from Keiji begged her to destroy it, claiming that some sensitive intel stored on it made her a target, but Kasumi didn't want to lose the stored memories of her loved one - “this is all that's left!” Shepard told her she would support her decision to keep it, as long as she was willing to live with the potential consequences.

TIM: Hello Shepard. You're doing better than thought. I will still win the bet though Shepard: Good to see you TIM. Admit it. You lost. The only reapers left to take care of are the ones at Earth. TIM: No. I can still control them. I will not lose to a banana

James: Crap. Crap. Shepard. What the heck? Its not working Shepard: Ashley!! Fire at his eyes. NOW. You to James. Get that pudding in his eyes. You guys can do this James: Are you sure? Shepard: Look. For starters, I watched a movie where two guys sang the same song Mordin sings in ME. Or at least the real world version of it. Jeph Shepard: The Motherland, though not my homeworld. - A VI went nuts on Luna. Hackett swears they weren't working on AI. If it wasn't an AI, it was damn close. I shut down three separate facilities before it went offline. Then it did something that sort of shifted my Sentinel abilities. A new class called "Bastion". - Destroyed the first of Helena Blake's crimelords. - The MSV Worthington was mostly dead but maintained basic life support. However, there were traps all over the cargo hold, suggesting someone was on board. Logs said a crazy biotic named Julia had taken out the crew in order to prevent them from turning off the life support of her brain dead boyfriend. We found the boyfriend and shut off his life support. Then we left, signaling for someone to retrieve the body. [Note: Julia never attacked.]

deadlydwarf : For me, the main plot of the Citadel DLC was a bit too goofy I love tongue-in-cheek stuff, but I think it felt a bit out of place in ME3. Still, I enjoyed the DLC, because it had some great moments, like seeing Glyph with a bow tie. I guess the only major flaw with ME3 is that it could have been even more epic, but I think they did a good job overall, especially when they only had two years to make it. themikefest fraggle : Yeah, of course the cycle must go on, that much is obvious Still, not exactly sure when the next cycle will begin. Should I wait a few millenia for organic life to develop further, or perhaps should I start the cycle instantly? Honestly, I actually feel like starting a new PT right away! It's never happened to me before. I wanna be a Paragon again and romance Kaidan and Garrus and, well, pretty much everyone Even Jacob and James And I want to retire with Mordin to do experiments on seashells. Mordin, I love you so much :sob: Going slightly offtopic, I watched an interview with Mark Meer and Jennifer Hale on Youtube, and both of them appeared so likeable! Hale's normal voice is great, it basically sounds like Shepard but not quite as calm and composed. And Mark Meer had this adorable Canadian accent PS. I love the fact that Jacob dumps Shep for Brynn Cole in ME3. After the Hale/Meer interview I ended up watching a Youtube video of romanced Jacob's scenes in ME3, and it was hilarious. The maker of the video was clearly so pissed off about the whole thing, but I gotta support Jacob in this, I wouldn't choose Shepard over Brynn, either

deadlydwarf : For me, the main plot of the Citadel DLC was a bit too goofy I love tongue-in-cheek stuff, but I think it felt a bit out of place in ME3. The maker of the video was clearly so pissed off about the whole thing, but I gotta support Jacob in this, I wouldn't choose Shepard over Brynn, either I can't help but think they actually wanted it to be a serious story initially and they were too far into the project when one of the writers suddenly realized that "evil clone/evil duplicate" stories have been done to death in science fiction. (Long before even the "evil Captain Kirk" episode of Star Trek, you have the evil robot duplicate in the silent movie "Metropolis.") The initial fight in the sushi restaurant seemed serious enough. Thereafter, here and there, you have moments which seem serious such as the fate of the clone at the end. I did enjoy ME3 overall though the ending especially was disappointing. I think they would've needed an extra year to fix the ending and other parts of the game that fall short.

There's only one answer! The cycle must continue and you know you want to play another Shepard That's right. Do a playthrough like the one in my signature, and you will have power like you've never had before. The power is braggin rights to say you did a playthrough like themikefest. You can do it. If you have questions, themikefest can answer them. The curious thing is: the more sadistic you are during the games, the more power you have in the end. So much for "every life is precious", "education is the cornerstone of life" and "love your neighbor as yourself", hun? Funny thing about your PT, "don't talk to the female student on Grissom. She will die from her wounds" you actually have to approach and listen her plead for this happen. I assume if you don't do that she will be abducted by Cerberus and turned into a Phantom. What it's worse?
