Miriam Shepard helped Miranda but failed Samara... Still at Nos Astra. Miranda requested assistance with getting Oriana, her sister, off-world to prevent their father kidnapping her. Arranged a meeting at the Eternity lounge. Had a little time before the meeting, so chatted with the bartender, an asari matriarch named Aethyta. Atypical for a matriarch; war baby, krogan father. Bit of a potty mouth. Entertaining conversationalist. Encountered a quarian AI specialist who had sold herself into slavery to pay off a gambling debt. Convinced a Synthetic Insights personnel rep to hire and emancipate her. Met with Miranda's contact. Father had got wind of the operation and hired Eclipse to intercept Oriana and her adoptive family. Took a skycab with Miranda to the terminal to meet Oriana; took Zaeed along for some extra muscle in case of Eclipse resistance. Taxi was forced down by Eclipse gunships. Merc spokesman could not be reasoned with; saw an opportunity to drop a fuel container on his gang to distract them. Fought through cargo transfer area, encountered moderate resistance. Met Eclipse boss Enyala and Miranda's friend Niket. Transpired that Niket had sold Oriana out to their father. Enraged, Miranda shot and killed Niket. Fought and defeated Enyala and her lackeys. (Enyala was armed with M-300 Claymore heavy shotgun; suspect krogan parentage). Ensured Oriana and her adoptive family departed safely; encouraged Miranda to speak with her sister before departing. Found a locket at the transportation terminal; returned it to its asari owner on Nos Astra's trading floor. Turned out to be a keepsake with sentimental value. Picked up Dr Cayce's trail. Ordered Normandy to Kopis in the Hades Nexus, took Tali and Samara planetside in the Hammerhead. Found archaeological dig site protected by kinetic barrier, defending it from geth rocket drones. Eliminated drones, disabled barrier, entered on foot. Recovered Prothean artefact; large sphere similar to sphere encountered on Eletania two years ago. Found evidence that Cayce's partner O'Loy had offered artefact to Collectors in exchange for sparing family's colony. O'Loy had been indoctrinated and was responsible for leaking research to geth. Ordered Normandy to Omega to follow the fugitive whom Samara had been tracking for four centuries. Fugitive was her own daughter Morinth, an Ardat-Yakshi (succubus/vampire) serial killer. Made a detour en route to convince a salarian information broker, Ish, that attempting to undermine Aria T'Loak was a bad idea; he escaped safely. Tracked Morinth to Afterlife's VIP lounge. Planned to attempt to lure her out for Samara to capture, but was unsuccessful. Samara troubled by failure to catch Morinth, has no option but to resume her pursuit later. Hopefully this will not interfere with Normandy's mission. [Due to the cramped space around the cargo conveyors, Charging into danger proved to be a bad idea on Miranda's mission; it was too easy to get overwhelmed by mercs and combat drones. That said, I did manage to knock one merc over a railing and into the conveyor The battle with Enyala, however, was one big opportunity for vanguarding, I had lots of fun Charging a near-complete circuit around the room, culminating in finishing Enyala herself at close range. I threw Samara's loyalty mission deliberately. During my first playthrough, the encounter with Morinth messed with my head and I decided that I'd prefer not to replay it. I know what not to do with Samara during the endgame, so will hopefully be able to keep her alive.]

Played a bit of ME3 multi-player, I've gotten back into it with a few matches over the past week or so after taking a break for a few months. It never stops being fun, no matter how long you're away In single-player, I made some more progress with my ME1 Soldier FemShep: The Normandy had been on patrol in the Traverse for quite a while and was due for a return to the Citadel to resupply and give the crew a bit of R & R. There were two task Shepard wanted to accomplish first, however. First was a trip to the Hawking Eta cluster. Back on the Citadel, Shepard had seen an intelligence report about a strange "biotic commune" that was gathering in the area, and she wanted to investigate as it sounded a bit suspicious. On arrival in the Century system, Admiral Hackett contacted the Normandy and filled Shepard in on the details. The commune was headed by a former Alliance officer named Major Kyle, who had suffered some sort of breakdown after loosing a lot of troops during the raid on Torfan. He wasn't a biotic himself, but seemed to have been drawn to the fact that they felt ostracized, calling himself "Father Kyle" and pledging to protect his "children". Hackett asked Shepard to deal with the situation. She hoped that it could be resolved without violence, but Hackett was skeptical; two other Alliance officers had been killed by the cultists when they tried to bring Kyle in. Shepard, Tali and Liara dropped onto the moon Presrop, enjoying a spectacular view of the planet Klendagon (which bore a striking resemblance to Mars ). They were almost immediately attacked by a Thresher Maw (which was becoming a bit of a habit - these things seem to be everywhere). After dealing with it, they discovered an abandoned camp, as well as the bodies of some "wildcat miners" who had been doing some illegal prospecting on the moon. They finally found Kyle's compound, and Shepard convinced the cultists to let her in to speak to the Major and attempt to resolve the situation peacefully. Kyle initially refused to leave, claiming that his "children" needed his protection. When Shepard pointed out that his actions had endangered his people - they would be punished for the killing of the Alliance officers - Kyle proved that there was still an honorable officer in him and agreed to take responsibility to protect his followers. He asked for time to explain the situation to the biotics, then promised to turn himself in to the Alliance. Shepard felt he could be trusted to honor his word, after all, where could he go with the Normandy in orbit keeping an eye on things? The ground team left the compound, and searched the area for some salvage and mineral deposits. They were attacked by a band of mercenaries - possibly the ones that had killed the miners - and killed them in self-defense. On the trip back to the Citadel, the Normandy stopped at Earth's moon, Luna, to deal with a situation Admiral Hackett had requested help with. A virtual intelligence at an Alliance base had run amok and killed the personnel stationed there. Hackett wanted Shepard to deal with it, probably to keep it out of official Alliance channels (Shepard suspected this was no ordinary VI, and AI research was frowned upon by the Council). Shepard, Tali, and Liara fought their way through defense turrets and drones and destroyed the VI's power conduits. As it shut down, the VI sent out a message in binary; Shepard translated it back on the Normandy and discovered it said "Help" over and over, more or less confirming that it had been a full artificial intelligence. Shepard was saddened that there was no other option than destroying it. The Normandy docked with the Citadel, and it quickly appeared that the ship's activities to date had attracted a fair bit of attention. First, Admiral Mikhailovich greeted Shepard in the docking bay, demanding to do and inspection. The Normandy had been scheduled to join his fleet after shakedown; Shepard becoming a Spectre and sent after Saren had put an end to that. Mikhailovich was unhappy with the design and expense of the Normandy, and with the non-humans on the crew. Shepard pointed out the value in building alliances, and the advantages of a stealth ship. The Admiral wasn't entirely convinced, but seemed to understand where Shepard was coming from and was confident Shepard would use the Normandy to the best of her abilities. Shepard was then contacted by Lt Girard. He was attempting to help a young woman named Talitha, who had been captured by slavers during the raid on Mindoir (the same raid that resulted in the death of Shepard's parents). She had been freed, but was traumatized after all of those years in captivity, and had stolen a gun and was threatening to kill herself. Girard asked Shepard to attempt to reason with her and give her a sedative so she could be taken somewhere for treatment. Shepard asked Talitha about what had happened to her, her parents, and how she had gotten free from the slavers. Relating her own experiences, and how she had recovered from them, seemed to help Talitha realize she could get better too. She willingly took the sedative, and Girard promised to get her the help she needed. At C-Sec headquarters, Shepard was approached by Khalisah al-Jilani, a reporter from Westerlund News who wanted an interview. It quickly became clear that Ms al-Jilani had an agenda, trying to "bait" Shepard with loaded questions about the Council's supposed mistreatment of humanity. Shepard answered as openly and honestly as she could in the circumstances; she didn't begrudge the reporter for asking tough questions - despite the negative "spin" Khalisah attempted to put on them - as she believed that the public had a right to know the truth. She refused to comment on her current assignment, though, as revealing Saren's treachery would help no one at this point - save that for when he was captured. Shepard stopped in at the embassies for a debrief with Udina and Anderson on the mission on Therum. Udina complained about the destruction of the Prothean ruins; clearly he was under a lot of pressure to avoid having humanity look bad as they attempted to become bigger players on the galactic stage. In the diplomats lounge, Shepard met with Nassana Dantius, an Asari whose sister Dahlia had been been kidnapped and held for ransom by a group of mercenaries. Nassana paid the ransom, but Dahlia was not freed, and now the mercs were threating to blackmail Nassana further - negotiating with terrorists was a criminal offense, and Nassana's career as a diplomat would be over if it came out that she paid the ransom rather than informing C-Sec. She asked Shepard to deal with the kidnappers and rescue Dahlia; she had obtained their location by tracking the ransom funds she had paid. Shepard agreed.

Reviewed all the thumbs down I got for Therum, added a link to the infiltrator leveling scheme to the battlemaster fight where he stood around for a while like a fool, and I might play a little ME2. Thumbs down? That's odd. I'm going to have to see that myself to figure out why. heh it was probably because I couldn't hit anything and wasn't really funny. ** Wasting time in Audacity. Yesterday the lazy minimalist Shepard 'died' and came back to life as an Adept. It's all Joker's fault.

Zachary Shepard decided to go to Noveria and see what was what. Turns out Benezia was there! Cool! First break in tracking down Saren and it's his 2nd-in-command. Confronted her and she made it clear she wasn't going to come quietly. Shepard wasn't worried, but then she hit him with a biotic attack he's never experienced before. Game over. No idea what happened here. Had the short conversation with Nezzy then she hit me with this. Weird thing was, the neck and limbs just kept stretching. Actually really creepy to look at. Didn't die but was frozen w atching my team get killed, neck getting longer and longer. Reloaded and it was fine. This was on the Xbox One.

Soldier FemShep, cont'd: Shepard visited the Emporium on the Citadel to see if Delan had anything worth buying (he didn't). Along the way she overheard a man berating his pregnant sister-in-law over some family matter. Shepard went over to try and calm the man, Michael, down. Shepard spoke to Michael and his sister-in-law, Rebekah, to learn what had happened. Rebekah's husband had died from a heart condition, and there was a chance the unborn child would suffer from the same condition. There were two possible methods of treatment, and Rebekah and Michael were at odds over which to take. Shepard was reluctant to tell them how to run their lives, but they were at an impasse. Shepard suggested to Michael that as the child's mother, the choice should be Rebekah's. Michael obviously wanted what was best for his brother's family, but he had said his piece and Shepard felt he should support Rebekah's choice. Michael reluctantly agreed, and Rebekah thanked Shepard for the help. In the Council chambers, Shepard delivered the bad news to Garoth that his brother had been killed by privateers that had attacked his ship. She then went to speak with Admiral Kahoku, who was outraged to learn not only of the loss of his troops but that a trap involving an Alliance beacon had been used to do it. Kahoku felt that something fishy was going on; Shepard felt the same way and offered her assistance. Kahoku indicated he was going to investigate some leads on his own and let Shepard know when he needed her. The reporter Emily Wong approached Shepard asking for help with another assignment. This time, she wanted Shepard to plant a bug in Citadel Traffic Control to gather proof that the traffic controllers were overworked and understaffed, leading to an increased risk of accident. Shepard wasn't sure planting a listening device in the control room was a good idea, but Ms Wong seemed to have only the public interest in mind, as she had proven during expose of Fist's crime syndicate. Shepard felt Wong could be trusted and planted the bug. Shepard took Tali and Liara to Flux to relax a bit and have a little fun. She saw Doran, the club owner, on the dance floor and thought "what the hell", and joined him. She invited Tali and Liara to join in; Tali refused, too into the music and people watching, but to Shepard's surprise Liara agreed. For a shy, bookish scientist, she sure did have some moves. After leaving the club, they ran into Conrad Verner once again. He congratulated Shepard on becoming a Spectre, and asked for a photo to give to his wife. He sure was a good guy, Shepard thought to herself. R & R was over, and it was time to get back to the mission. After returning to the Normandy and setting sail, Admiral Hackett contacted Shepard to inform her that the interview with Khalisah al-Jilani had been broadcast, and that Shepard came across well. He said that al-Jilani had sounded like a "raving idiot", which Shepard thought was a little harsh, but she was glad her comments hadn't caused any problems for the brass. The Normandy traveled to Sharjila, in the Artemis Tau cluster, to track down the mercs who had kidnapped Dahlia Dantius. Shepard, Liara, and Tali stormed the mercs base and defeated all the enemy forces, including an Asari commando who seemed to be the leader. There was no sign of Dahlia, however. The ground team searched the base, and found information on a terminal that indicated that not only were the mercs operating a slaving operation, but that the Asari commando in charge had been Dahlia Dantius herself. She wasn't the victim at all, and Nassana had known it and deliberately mislead Shepard. She was going to have a little chat with the Asari when they returned to the Citadel. After the mercs were dealt with, the ground team explored the area for mineral deposits and salvage, and found an abandoned camp with some ancient writings by the Asari Matriarch Dilinaga stored in it.

John Shepard: (Spoilers)
Noveria: Brought Liara and Garrus with me to deal with a Cerberus Fighter Base. Seeing intel about the people being "processed" and not liking the sound of it. We succeeded and Alliance forces took command of the base.
Citadel: When we arrived at the Citadel, Joker got no response. All channels were not responding. He tried emergency and got through the Thane. Thane said Cerberus had attacked and taken control. He and Kaidan had gotten separated. Kaidan was protecting the Council while Thane was headed to C-Sec. I decided to bring James and Garrus with me for this one. Garrus was ex-C-Sec so maybe he knew his way around a little better. And an Alliance soldier at my side seemed like a good idea. Not sure when Cerberus became a full-on paramilitary organization but they had a lot of resources. Then I thought back to the reports of "processing" and seeing that huskified Cerberus fighter on Mars. Could indoctrination be how they increased their numbers so greatly?
Upon landing, immediately went into battle with Cerberus. Once the immediate threat was done, I tended to a wounded Commander Bailey. Bailey found a message from salarian Councilor Valern to be on guard for betrayal. He was supposed to be meeting with the executor, which meant someone powerful was going to be prosecuted. Based on my prior conversation with Valern it had to be Udina.
We headed out to find Valern, hoping he might be in the executor's office. I noticed signs to be alert for illegal AI. It showed pictures of geth. A step up from when they were detaining asari as potential geth infiltrators. Meanwhile, the bastards were even killing guys in the locker room. Khalisah was calling for help - calmly, at that. She's good under fire.
Valern was not on the executor's office, though the executor was dead. When I peered out the window I saw Valern becoming visible. Stupid move. Should have stayed out of sight. Naturally, it's when some sword-wielding idiot showed up to kill him. He had some sort of super-tech and was going to kill Valern when Thane showed up. They fought. Thane put up a good fight until the Cerberus goon stabbed him in the gut. A shuttle chase ensued but the creep wrecked ours, forcing us to crash land. We pursued on foot. They were gunning down civilians, even humans. That made me no longer sure Cerberus was in any way innocent regarding the events on Benning.
One more chase, this time up an elevator shaft. We managed to get ahead of him by sabotaging his elevator. Then we landed on one where the people inside were shooting at us. I wasn't sure if it was Cerberus or not. However, they exited and we climbed into the elevator to come out in the same area. It was the other three members of the Council, Udina included. Kaidan was with them and boy did he ever look like he wasn't sure he could trust me. Thought this was all behind us. Then again, I was pointing a gun at Udina and he was in the dark about his betrayal. I took a chance and lowered my gun, signaling the others to do the same. Kaidan decided to trust me. The asari councilor also mentioned that every time they distrusted me it turned out disastrous and I was proven to be right. I told them Cerberus was on the other side of the door but Udina tried to open it. When Tevos tried to gently stop him, Udina knocked her to the ground and pulled a gun on her. I could have taken Udina out but I didn't want to be accused of doing so on behalf of Cerberus. However, Kaidan had no such constraint and shot Udina in the chest.
Thane went in for emergency surgery but the outlook wasn't good. I arrived in time for his final rites, as spoken by his son, Kolyat. He asked for something specific and, as I was honored to find out afterward, this last prayer was said for me. Even to his very last breath he thought of a friend rather than himself. He may have started as an assassin but he died a hero.
Took some shots of refugees in the holding area for a salarian making a documentary. Also met Steve at the memorial wall. He finally placed the last recording of his deceased husband on the wall so that he could move on. Kelly Chambers had changed her identity as I suggested. It turned out that when Cerberus had taken over they were looking for her. Becoming someone else saved her life. Also fixed some medigel dispensers that had been sabotaged by a guy preaching for Cerberus. It was Conrad Verner. He thought since I had worked for Cerberus so should he, just like he tried to imitate me with a fake N7 armor when I was dead. His Cerberus contact tried to kill me but Conrad jumped in the way. Very heroic of him. But he wasn't wounded. Jenna, who I'd helped years ago when she went undercover for C-Sec, had caused the gun's thermal clips to overload rather than fire. She saved his life and mine. Then they went off together.
Met up with Jack in Purgatory. We went dancing. I also encouraged Joker to go after EDI. It might be his last chance at any kind of happiness. We might all be dead tomorrow. So why not?
Heading into the docking bay of the Normandy I ran into Kaidan. He thought I might actually have shot him earlier. I told him I trusted him and couldn't have done it. Also, that he acted with integrity. Then he told me Hackett offered him a position elsewhere but he'd turn it down if I let him back on the Normandy. I was glad to have him aboard. All things aside, I'd been without an XO for some time. Plus, having a trusted friend at my six was everything.
Normandy SR-2: QEC with Anderson and Hackett. Anderson told me the assassin I'd encountered was named Kai Leng and that he'd crossed paths with him before. He said the guy was tough even before his enhancements. No wonder he was so difficult to take down. Also, the asari and salarians were finally supporting the Crucible, which was at 50% completion.
Traynor has been monitoring Cerberus channels, which I think is awesome. She found some scientists who had defected from Cerberus and thought we might recruit them for the Crucible. She thought it was okay given that she had been on Horizon when the Collectors attacked and had I not been with Cerberus she would have been abducted with the other half of the colony. She's amazing in many ways. Really glad she's on board.
After a short conversation with EDI, she decided to "turn good". It's more complicated that than, but her new goals are: duty, altruism and love. Guess encouraging the relationship between she and Joker has been beneficial. She really wants to be human. I don't know if that's necessary for an AI but she's unique so she has to look elsewhere for guidelines of behavior. I'm liking the way she's evolving.
I found Garrus in front of the memorial wall. He had been concerned that Kaidan's name might have ended up there but I told him no way I could have shot him. We remembered Ash but my eyes were also drawn to the latest friend to be put up. I don't want to see anyone else there but I'm afraid it's going to happen no matter what.
Visited Kaidan in the Starboard Observation Lounge. He talked about his father having re-enlisted in the Alliance and gone MIA while his mother was alone in orchards they owned. I was glad he told me, that he could share with me. I didn't have any family of my own so it was nice to hear about his.
Had another interview with Diana. I kept things very positive, not allowing the interview to bring fear to the audience regarding Cerberus's actions. They needed all the hope they could get. James also wanted to chat. He'd gotten an N7 commendation forwarded to him that was dated the date the Reapers attacked Earth. After talking about his concerns I suggested he accept it.
Played chess with Traynor. She kicked my ass. Twice.

I've changed my mind again!
The best team for my Renegade play-through is now Zaeed and Jack, not Mordin and Jack. Well, obviously, I have done Zaeed's loyalty mission. That was my first run through it, and it was good. I was playing Garrus' right after that, and felt that it was way too similar to be truly AWESOME. However, because my Renegade is a Human Supremacist, having a crew of two hard-core Humans feels great.
But! The important thing is that it is absolutely awesome looking, what with Zaeed in his neo-Medieval armor, and Jack with her cyber-punk. Not to be outdone, the Renegade now acquired glowing red eyes, and his scars are glowing, I tell ya, glowing! (Hello, SWOTOR/KOTOR!) I've put on that visor on him too.
I've also did my first Firewalker Mission (now accessible to me), and tried Hammerhead fun with a lot of giggles. Have 3 more of those on the list to try it out.
Still need Mordin's and Jacob's Missions before pursuing more recruitment assignments, and still ignoring Miranda's urgent calls to come and talk to her (the impossible woman talked his PA into bugging him every time he steps on the bridge!).
In MP: with Inert's kind help I am working on my Silver groove in MP, and even starting to pug it on my own. I've collected a couple of new kits that are interesting, N7 Destroyer, and Asari Valkyre. The valkyre's kit itself feels good, but I'd like a bit of variety there... I think I now have pretty much every Asari kit in the game. And ME3 made me really dislike the species.... Other than the "not another Asari" it's been awesome!
P.S: You know what I want for Andromeda? The way to "age" the armor! Or get a bit more "Maquis" look. Shepard looks great in his 'ship' renegade vest.

Jackie Shepard scanned the galaxy some more, then went to the Citadel to deliver some packages and meet the Asari councilor.
Then it was Erin Shepard's turn: 1. Boarded the Geth Dreadnaught and single-handedly destroyed it. (Okay, so she had a little help from Legion and the Quarian Flotilla, but only a little.)
2. Went into the Geth consensus to shut down a server, preventing Geth fighters from attacking Quarian liveships.
3. Landed on Rannoch and rescued Admiral Korris.
4. Attacked a Geth base and attempted to destroy the antenna broadcasting the Reaper signal to the Geth. Unfortunately that antenna was actually a Reaper Destroyer, but she managed to destroy it anyway. (Okay, so technically the Quarian fleet destroyed it, but since everyone wants to credit her with the kill, she is not going to argue.)
5. Scanned the galaxy, delivered some packages, and met with the Asari Councilor.
Kim Shepard boarded the Geth Dreadnaught and helped destroy it. Punched Han Gerrel.

Kim Shepard boarded the Geth Dreadnaught and helped destroy it. Punched Han Gerrel. Love doing this! Admittedly, it's not the best diplomatic tactic but the guy has deserved this at least since ME2.

Today marks the birth of Hannah shepherd Earthborn.Sole survivor.Adept
She is a no nonsense type of gal and has a stern look to match the attitude.[Will insert photo later]
Shepherd met with nihlus and captain anderson and was later sent on a mission to get the beacon on eden prime (sounds heavenly but is exactly the opposite of that].Eden was filled with nasty geths and husks and shepherd was lucky to save the ever so pretty ashley. Not so lucky were jenkins and nihlus.
Discovered that saren was behind the killing of nihlus and tried to get him to face the music. But ofcourse the council wasn't having none of it. He is their beloved spectre who can do no wrong in their eyes.Needless to say that they sided with him and acquitted him of all charges.
So its back to the drawing board for shepherd , udina and anderson.

Kim Shepard: 1. Went into the Geth Consensus, stopped Geth fighters from attacking Quarian liveships.
2. Rescued Korris.
3. Attacked a Geth Base to take out the Reaper signal that was controlling the Geth. The Reaper signal was attached to a Geth Destroyer. Helped the Quarians destroy the destroyer, took the credit for kill (for some reason).
I Actually had some trouble with the three Geth Primes for some reason. Reason: not using Nova. Also, they seemed to be hitting me from places they never seemed to usually hit me from before. Odd.
4. Scanned the galaxy.
5. Investigated trouble at a Fuel Reactor, discovered it was Reaper forces causing the problems. Took care of the problems.
6. Went to the Citadel, delivered some packages, and met with the Asari councilor.

Hey everyone! Been some time since I posted and played, as I didn't do anything for 3 weeks in ME2 (got swept up in a series... with 3 voice actors from BW games! Woop!) I played a bit on Sunday and Monday, so here's a tiny update. Probably also the last time for the next few weeks (?), since Final Fantasy 15 is out now Goody, where was I with my BitchyShep? Yes... Horizon! Filed under: Personal Mr. Illusive is playing games with me. Unacceptable. But I cannot get away from him yet. He had sent me to Horizon to investigate the next colony getting hit. I could not save the colonists there, but I saw these Collectors first hand now. Filthy creatures that need to be put down as soon as possible. They have pods, in which they transport colonists to their ship. The Illusive Man also had told me before that Alenko was at this colony. And I actually met him after Lawson, Jacob and I had fought off the Collector forces and hit the ship with cannons the Alliance had installed at the colony earlier. Now that I know the Illusive Man is behind Alenko's presence, having spread "carefully disguised" rumours about me being alive and working for Cerberus, it's no surprise that Alenko doesn't trust me. Still, he got too riled up and doesn't see the Collector threat clearly. He can do what he wants, he doesn't need to answer to me anymore, but he sure won't earn my respect with these words of his. Either way, after we returned to the Normandy, Jacob mentioned a personal issue of his, and Miranda did too. I promised to help Jacob at some point to further cement the trust between us and to progress our relationship. He will be thankful and even easier to get to. I have decided the next stop is Illium. I'm looking for two more people to pick up, and T'Soni is there as well. Maybe she can be of some use and has information on both of them. Meeting Kaidan! Went as good as ever Meh, I actually also played Jacob's LM already, but then I also kind of don't want to play LotSB this time since my Shepard is not the type to help Liara with that, buuut if Jacob is loyal so early, he always uses Barrier on his own, and that sucks. So I decided to postpone it at least a little Romance has to waaaait. Horizon went okay-ish for Vanguard, but of course I died, around 4 times I believe. The part before meeting Delan is still tough for me sometimes, especially when your damn squad dies over and over

I did the Bring Down The Sky DLC tonight on my FemShep current run. After disabling 2 torches and finding various things like Radio X57 I didn't even allow Charn to talk to me after disabling the last torch. I sniped him and myself, Kaidan and Liara easily took care of him and his goons and so it was on to the main facility. Dealt with most enemies reasonably well but after deciding not to let Balak go I died on the 1st attempt at killing him but managed to do it pretty easily after reloading. Really enjoying my 1st time as FemShep.

(ME3) Regina Shepard finished Leviathan, and did the Thessia mission. She is romancing Liara. I started crying and had to take a long break. Not gotten any further yet, just talked with squadmates and such.

Discovered 17min video of Casbin is mysteriously missing. I have no clue how that happened. Guess time travel will be in order. 17 minutes of video? Yes, it should have been its own file. I don't remember if I checked afterwards, it was that last one I did that night. I was also lazy and hadn't been renaming the files so I had a directory filled with MassEffect_Blah_Blah_Numbers. *** I think I will play ME2 in a bit, need to knock out Professor at least. I originally was going to do Soldier, but switching to Adept is going to make me alter the missions I planned to do maybe. I was going to do minimal loyalty missions to save everyone, and had already picked them, but the thing is one biotic upgrade is on Pragia. I don't know if I will have enough persuasion to keep both Miri and Jack loyal after that if I am skipping side quests. That would suck to lose a loyalty because that would necessitate an 8th mission just to get 7 loyal.

John Shepard: (probably spoilers)
Asgard: Retrieved a few lost ships and some resources from the remnants of Alliance space. I went to a lot of trouble to save Terra Nova from the batarians. Now its inhabitants have been slaughtered by the Reapers. I'm glad my actions gave them a few extra years but this really sucks.
Eden Prime: There's a Prothean artifact here that Cerberus has managed to secure. I'm going to find it and take it back from them. Touched down with Liara, because she has the most experience with protheans other than me, and Kaidan, because, dammit, he needs to be here with me where it all began. Began scouting right away. Found intel that could help the remaining colonists fight back against Cerberus. When we found the artifact we learned it wasn't an object to be used in the Crucible. It was actually a still-living Prothean who had been in a stasis pod for 50,000 years. On Ilos, we saw thousands of those but all depowered. My mind translated a Prothean signal into the last days of the Protheans. It was almost like I was there. This is probably how I was meant to experience the Prothean beacon we'd found three years ago. Killed a lot of Cerberus troops here but not nearly as many as I'd have liked. In the end, we opened the stasis pod and reintroduced a Prothean to the universe. He was understandably confused and angry, given that his last memories were of fighting.
Normandy SR-2: My guards took it upon themselves to "dust off the regulations" regarding contact with a new species - as though they didn't realize their CO was the one who brought him on board. It just made things more difficult but I suppose it hasn't even been thirty years since we were at war with the turians. Trust still has to be earned. In any case, we found out the Prothean was named Javik and that his race virtually enslaved every other species they came in contact with. It would have been our fate as well had the Reapers not wiped them out. He did agree to help us but suffers from the feeling that we're all "primitives", as though time hadn't passed.
The only thing on anyone's lips was "A Prothean. A real, live Prothean."
Citadel: Met Kaidan for dinner at Apollo's Cafe. He wanted a steak sandwich and Canadian lager. Even if they could get it in the best of times, importing it was impossible these days. And any they had would be astronomically expensive. The conversation was nice but took an unexpected turn when Kaidan indicated he wanted a deeper relationship with someone he already cared about. I inferred he meant me. Given that I'd only ever seen Kaidan talk about women, this was a little surprising. Hell, I was after Ash three years ago. Yet, something was different these days. Maybe the end of the world makes things that seemed inconceivable all too possible. It hadn't crossed my mind until Kaidan said it but, yeah, he and I were on the same wavelength. Explains s lot, actually. It's just taking what we already had to another level. And just like that I had something in my life that I'd never had before: a boyfriend.

Jen Shepard: 1. Disabled a Geth Dreadnaught and then the Quarians destroyed it.
2. Disabled a Geth server to save the Quarian liveships.
3. Rescued Admiral Korris.
4. Attacked a Geth base to take out the Reaper signal controlling the Geth. Got attacked by a Reaper Destroyer. Targeted the Destroyer with a laser so the Quarians could destroy it from orbit. Made peace between the Geth and Quarians.
5. Got a Turian Fuel Reactor back up and running.
6. Scanned the galaxy.
7. Returned to the Citadel, delivered some packages, and met with the Asari councilor.
* * *
Jen, Jackie, Erin, and Kim have all now completed the Geth-Quarian arc. All of them still have the Citadel DLC uncompleted, so I may do that next for most of them. Jackie uses the Saber, so I want her to get the Saber X first before I do any of the other outstanding missions first, so I will probably tackle Thessia and Sanctuary next with her.

Jackie Shepard: 1. Almost recovered an artifact from Thessia, but was foiled by a gunship. (Oh yeah, Kai Leng was there, too. Briefly.)
2. Tracked Kai Leng to Sanctuary. Discovered Sanctuary was just a front for a Cerberus Lab that turned refugees into husks as a way to study indoctrination to learn how to control Reapers. Miranda threw her father out of a window.
3. Got a Fuel Reactor running again.
