What did you do today in ME?

Adept Shepard on insanity (it's been awhile but the journey continues) ...

After EDI's metamorphic episode, Shepard stopped by the Citadel to visit the hospital. Shepard encountered Thane shadowboxing his reflection and managed to pry him away from this narcissism to have a brief conversation. Their few minutes of chat centred around Thane's illness and how long he's got left (so not the most cheery conversations). They said their farewell as if it was like a final goodbye considering they may not see each other again. Shepard then took the Avina tour because it would be rude not to . Shepard interrupted Udina and Kaidan so he could give the major some bedside booze. You could say giving Kaidan alcohol is a... whiskey act to do (I'll stop with the puns now). Anyway, after receiving this gift, I'd imagine an intoxicated Kaidan causing mischievous disturbances in the Huerta wing. After their conversation, the air was cleared between the two.
What better place to lighten the mood by dropping into Purgatory for a few pints. Shepard is a universal superstar so he got privileged access to the VIP section. He had some time to do some Shepard dancing and buy a round of drinks. The mood turned more serious when talking with Aria.

Well that was enough Citadel for one day so Shepard turned his attention to the diplomatic talks between the Krogan, Turians and Salarians. Wrex was at the talks demanding a cure for the Genophage. Wrex discovered Maelon's cure and Shepard had destroyed the data . So Wrex understandably has a hostile/mistrustful attitude towards Shepard. The tension on the shuttle was palpable. Wrex demands answers and questions the motives of Shepard. "Who's side are you on, Shepard?" line shows that Wrex probably feels betrayed by Shepard's data sabotage. Shepard still believed that destroying the data was the right thing to do and was resolute in standing by his believes. Shepard told Wrex to his face that it was the right thing to do (even though he was at risk of receiving a Krogan head-butt  ). Garrus tried to pacify the situation but Shepard and Wrex are still on shaky ground. Shepard knows he still needs Wrex's cooperation to make the alliance work so he went to Sur'Kesh to rescue the female Krogan. He landed on Sur'Kesh with Garrus and James. Shepard tried to have a conversation with Wrex again but he wasn't in a sociable mood. Shepard tried to establish who was leak was and Wrex replied "Let's say it's someone more trustworthy than you!" (Ouch! I'm actually liking these antagonistic exchanges ). Shepard had a friendlier chat with Kirrahe.
The base came under attack and Shepard scrambled to save the female Krogan with Mordin. Shepard liked Mordin because he's one of the more upbeat characters that he's come across. Shepard is genuinely concerned for the female Krogan's safety even though Wrex just views Shepard as an opportunist. Shepard got injured once by the Atlus (in other words critical mission failure  ). Eventually the Krogan was free and taken offworld.

Wrex still wants to wait until the cure is dispersed before committing Krogan fighters to the cause. The female Krogan is called Eve and she had a chat with Shepard about the Genophage. This chat did alter Shepard's perception, he still feels the Genophage was the right call but he has a lot more to ponder when there is a cure on the horizon. To take his mind off these ethical questions, he decided to chase a space hamster in the cargo hold (the little critter sure can move though as it took a few minutes to catch)
