What did you do today in ME?

Finished another trilogy run.. I don't mind the ending but after so many playthroughs I find it hard to sit through starbrats monologue. I find myself just skipping the investigate dialogue just to get the scene over with as fast as possible. The actual dialogue is fine but that bratty little voice {sigh} if they had kept the exact same dialogue but replaced starbrat with a Reaper Queen.. ominously voiced by a spooky combo of Meer and Hale (like in the background of the original scene) I think it would of been leaps and bounds better.

I didn't do the virtual reality mission with Legion because I hate the mission, so later I had to choose between the geth and the quarians. I chose the quarians and Tali knifed Legion

excellent. Can't let the machines download that reaper code.

Did some more stuff over the week, getting towards the end!

Ugh, the clone fight was hellish, with my pea shooter Tempest, also I didn't get my squaddies stronger weapons because I'm dumb and maybe also stubborn to make it too easy (mostly it's the first point though)
My grenades dealt some nice damage, but sadly they're depleted quickly and I have no idea where else they spawn (I think I picked up some in the beginning area, but this fight is always so adrenaline-packed I barely remember anything ). I think I tried at least 6 times before I managed to get to the second part of the fight, and I had the nice visual bug where the blue flames from the clone grenades were still being displayed every frigging time, so they were everywhere. Should have quit the game I suppose, but somehow I didn't. Anyway, after another try I got through. I was rewarded with some great hangouts and a party! Yay!

Finished up over the past few days! Long-ass post incoming...

Hey Jeff,

I hope you are alright. I am up. I heard what happened to EDI. I'm so sorry. This is all my fault.
I had a choice...
I'm not sure how much you know. About what happened on the Citadel, with the Catalyst and the Crucible.
I had a choice and I chose to destroy the Reapers, despite hearing the implications from the Catalyst.
I do not want to justify my actions, but I do want you to know that I just couldn't choose any different. It was tied to my deepest beliefs.
Controlling them... pure madness, the Illusive Man's path. And who knows what might have happened in the future, the Reapers still being around. Too risky.
Combining organics and synthetics. Too big of an unknown. I just couldn't simply "combine" everyone to resolve our grievances with each other... I couldn't change everyone to something else. Would they even be themselves anymore? Would it be like two minds in one person?
It felt so wrong.

So I did the only thing I could. Get rid of those behind the cycle.

The guilt inside me about EDI and the geth is eating me up. But I still believe it was the right choice. It has to be. We're free from the terror of the Reapers and their master. We can build our own future now. I hope my choice was worth it, but I believe in all of us.

Maybe we can meet up, talk about it if you like. I hope we can still be friends. Most of all, I hope you can forgive me someday.

Dear Kahlee,

I've been meaning to write to you ever since David Anderson took his last breath beside me.
I'm so sorry for your loss. I grieved so much for him, and still am. I know I'm not responsible. It was the Illusive Man's doing, but my finger pulled that trigger. He made me do it. I will have to live with that.

Anderson was always very important to me and a big role model. Without him, we might not stand where we are today.
He was a brave man, a hero, and a great mentor. I learned so much from him. Wherever he may be now, I hope he's at peace. And I hope that you will someday heal. We all have new wounds to tend to, and it's still raw. But everyone who died in this fight gave us a future. Tremendous sacrifices had to be made, but it's a fresh start into something great.

Hang in there, and take care of yourself.

Some Epilogue-ish stuff:
After recovering from his wounds, Glenn found a new purpose in further strengthening relationships between the various species as an ambassador.
He visited all allies frequently to ensure further cooperation and joint projects. He never gave up on his vision of peace and to this day, he fights for everyone.

He's also an advocate for synthetic life, hoping organics and synthetics can co-exist peacefully, that the galaxy has learned from the quarian-geth conflict. That peace can be achieved, if they just try.

Samara still fights the evils of the galaxy, and she still honours her code, but she realised there are things in her life that are most important to her. Her daughter and Glenn.
And even though Samara and Glenn still pursue their own paths in life, they see each other whenever they can and make the most of their time together, forming a deep and intimate bond for life in the process.

Weee, that's another Insanity run done! Died here and there, but not much. Kai Leng was actually ok this time, only one death right at the beginning Also died once at the husk section right before M. Shields, but again I beat Shieldy on the first try! That almost never happens
I had Javik and Kaidan leave the Normandy, which was weird, because I barely took Javik to missions. Maybe it counts differently in the LE, but I really expected to see Kaidan and Liara. Or am I misremembering things that the squadmates you took on most missions will show up?
I even had Javik in the flashback pics right after Anderson and EDI, wtf

My next Shepard is almost good to go, just need to do some final tweaks. This time I want to just write down my decisions etc and not do such long write-ups. It's fun, but it also takes a loooot of time. So I try to play more next time

Julie Shepard (Infiltrator, ME3 LE):
1. Responded to an alarm in the Citadel Archives. Fought more of the CAT6 losers and discovered their leader was... a Cerberus-manufactured Shepard clone? Okay... also Brooks was a traitor and tried to trap everyone in vaults. Escaped the vaults and chased after the clone.

2. Boarded the Normandy before it took off. Beat the crap out of the clone and kicked it off the ship (literally). Tali shot Brooks when she tried to escape.

I had not played for about a week so I was a bit rusty. Died a few times in the archives and the Dry Dock sequence, but took out the clone first try because Infiltrator Clone may be the easiest clone.

NEXT UP: Silversun Strip shenanigans. Armax Arsenal Arena challenges, and probably some credit farming/grinding in the arena.

Changed it up and did Shadow broker before the SM. Did it after I finished my other business on illuim.. recruiting Thane/Samara and Miranda's LM. it does fit quite well here. Liaras whole shadow broker side plot is still fresh in the mind from just doing the observer Quest. And Vasirs comments on Shepard being with Cerberus makes more sense. I'm still going to save Liaras cabin scene for after the SM just because I prefer them talking about the reapers rather then horizon and the collectors. But now Mr illusive is about to send me into a trap on a collector ship because he's a manipulative pos and likes to be "mysterious" seriously his reasoning for doing so is piss weak and he just done it because he's a little control freaky.

Today i killed Kay Leng on Thessia. Unfortunatly it was a Bug

For Julie Shepard (ME3 LE), I spent several hours over the past few days just grinding matches in Armax Arsenal Arena, recouping some of the credits I spent on purchasing and upgrading weapons from stores (Valiant, Black Widow, and today the Indra). I played almost 120 matches -- Super Elite Reapers on Wingman-- to get nearly 1.2 million credits.

I should be ready to start playing missions again soon.

Just recruited Javik. I really don't like some of Shepards auto dialogue in the talk with Javik back on the Normandy. Y'know the "Thanks...I think" and Shepard uses the same exact line with Legion in the geth consensus. Apparently a writer thought it was so funny they put it in twice.

Started a new ME1 Run

- Ashley is mad at me because i question her skills as a soldier
- I was disrespectful to the council
- Next i have to find Harkin or Barla Von
