that is some great news you bring. I am glad the krogan gather on Tuchanka, and I hope that their suffering is indeed over. The krogan can and will be valuable allies, I am sure of that. First we win this war, then we can all focus on rebuilding. Focus on making this chance I hope we will have count. Building bridges and making this galaxy a better place for all of us.
I can't wait to come visit once this is all over and see you and Wrex again, and what a life without the genophage looks like for the krogan people.

thanks for the chessboard, I know of someone on board who will be very happy to play some matches with me.
And another thanks for not killing Petrovsky. I know you wanted to, and many people in Cerberus deserve it for sure, but we need more intel, need to find out more why they do all this. There are a couple of implications I can't talk too much about, but let's just say adjutants aren't the only thing they experimented with.

You and I are not much alike, but I'm still glad we could return Omega to your hands. Keep your people safe.

One more thing... I'm really sorry about what happened to Nyreen. She seemed like a good person and I hope you'll get over this loss someday.

Sooo yeah, first time since... I think 7 years or so since I played the Omega DLC I didn't like it much back then, I think I played it only once, on my first Insanity run (I bought all the DLC only after my first normal playthrough and played them then).
One of the issues I had back then was that I hate not being able to use my squaddies, same issue with Arrivial. But it actually didn't bother me so much this time. Still, the DLC felt a bit too long after a while and I was happy when it was over The Cerberus portions were fun to do, the mechs were okayish, and the last fight is still a bit annoying XD
Especially since of course I died after having freed Aria and was about to clean up, and my Medigel didn't register in time

Julie Shepard (Infiltrator, ME2 LE):

1. Blue Suns series of missions:
a. Recovered a Prothean artifact.
b. Boarded a ship and recovered some data for Cerberus.
c. Took out a base and destroyed a fake distress signal.
NOTE: That Vido Santiago guy seems like a complete jerk. I should find him and take him out... (remembers "See you in another 20 years, Zaeed!") oh right. Yeaaaah.

2. Fought Batarian terrorists attacking a colony. Saved the residential area, but the infrastructure was destroyed.

3. Rescued Dr. Kenson, then slammed an asteroid into a relay, delaying the Reapers for another six months. But the Collectors are still out there, so...

4. Boarded a derelict Reaper and recovered the Reaper IFF. Took a Geth platform on board. EDI named it Legion.

5. Helped Legion destroy a virus and blew up some Geth "heretics".

6. Went with the squad for some down-time, only for the Collectors to show and abduct all the crew except Joker.

NEXT UP: Plan the suicide mission, then hit the Omega-4 Relay!

Julie Shepard (Infiltrator, ME2 LE): MISSION COMPLETE! Collectors defeated, their base destroyed.

Still trying to figure out my ME3 build for Julie Shepard:
- Shotgun Infiltrator: Cloak + Sabotage + Proximity Mine + Cryo/Distruptor Ammo. Claymore shotgun after upgrade to rank V.
- Marksman Sniper Infiltrator: Cloak + Marksman + Cryo/Disruptor Ammo. Viper sniper rifle. May switch to Black Widow or Valiant later.

I have done the shotgun infiltrator build before. It was a lot of fun. Shotgun is for tougher enemies, while cloak > sabotage > proxy mine kills the basic mobs.

I have tested the marksman sniper before, but have never done a full playthrough, which is why I am considering it now.

Today in ME3 this happened.




Shepard falls down

Imported Julie Shepard into ME3. Decided to go with the Marksman Sniper Infiltrator build. Had to watch some of my own test videos to remember the build specs.

1. Escaped Earth.
2. Recovered the Prothean data on Mars, along with Liara and a Cerberus mech.
3. Went to the Citadel, saved the game.

Julie Shepard (ME3 LE):
1. Met with the council, they were not helpful. Invited Allers and Chakwas back to the Normandy. Had a bad dream, then talked to the new Normandy crew.
2. Rescued the new Turian Primarch because the old one died.
3. Citadel stuff + planet scanning.
4. Eden Prime. Found a Prothean in a refrigerator (next to the Varren roast).

I'm sorry you lost a lot of men down in these tunnels. But I do trust the rachni queen, she has kept her word all these years and stayed out of sight.
What the Reapers did to her now... Just take a look at what they're doing to everyone. I have to take all the help I can get, and we have a common enemy. We can do this. A united galaxy has a chance. My hopes are that all this brings us together. If we have a future together, maybe one race thinks about how another helped them out, maybe we'll all get along.
Maybe it's stupid or naive to think that way - and a lot of maybes - but I really wish we can all learn our lesson and work together in the future, burying old grudges as we move forward.
But anyway, I digress.
Forgive me about your soldiers. And please trust me on this.

Hey Maelon,
good to see you're still alive and kicking. And so you've heard. Yes, your research data was a big help, Mordin kept saying that. Without it, there would have been even more losses. Still, we were really lucky, too.
It's a good thing you came around to see all the hurt you caused with your experiments, but it's all in the past. And it did help, that's what matters now.
I'm sure the krogan females will appreciate hearing from you. Mordin became a hero to them, and you being responsible for a successful cure in huge parts might have earned that status, too.

I hope you can continue to help people in your clinic on Omega, it's a good thing you do. Cerberus is luckily gone and they won't be a danger to anyone there anymore.

Getting Admiral Zaal'Koris out of there alive was lucky, but the cost was high. So many quarians lost their lives. Their sacrifices will be honoured and I'm sure they will live on in all of you.

I will do all I can to stop this war from taking more victims. It doesn't have to be that way.

it makes me very happy to hear that you have settled in nicely with the geth, that they help, and that you get along.
I can't believe this war is over, that organics and synthetics have a chance to live in peace. Once we take care of the Reapers, that is... Still a long way to go.

But I'm glad that the Crucible seems to progress well. And even though Admiral Xen and I don't see eye to eye much, I have no doubt about her brilliance as a scientist. Her laser technology we used on Rannoch was something else. Very impressive.
I am glad she is part of the team now. It will only help make the Crucible better.

Believe me, I was as surprised as you that Admiral Gerrel stood down, but then I think the geth being on the verge of becoming powerful enough to win this war was good enough reason.
I'm really glad it all worked out. Also, please accept my sincerest apologies for yelling at everyone and jeopardising the fate of the quarian race. I was so stressed out in that moment. There was a lot on the line...
