Human team members ought to have sensible hair styles that fit within a helmet. This makes sense to me. Same with the Tempest crew.  However, everyone else can to their own "thing" (ie: pirates, scumbags, thieves, civilians.. etc).

Regardless of the individual, proper hair is a must. Shiny, plastic hair is not proper. Horrible Walrus mustache is not proper. DA:I facial hair is not proper... well, neither are most of the options in that CC.

What I hopefully get with ME:A is a 500% improvement in hair generation with the ME:A CC.

You know, after four years, since DA:I launched, you'd think this issue was solved. Could be a limitation of the engine.

 

Won't happen, and that's a good thing. 

It most likely won't happen, and that's actually a bad thing.

Waste of resources really. And it just doesn't match the tone of the game. If it means to be serious, that is. 

More choices would be better.

I think like DA:I, there will be lots of varieties of short, partially shaved, or fixed in a ponytail or bun.

We've seen quite a few human characters now in all the various trailers, and that has been the case with all of them.

I'd  imagine there will be some different hair style mods bymade by various people over time so even if there isn't any in the game itself then it might not be all bad because that's pretty much the way I corrected that one flaw odf DAI by downloading various hair mods. We'll  only find out in time though I think.

I agree with you but I just don't see Bioware doing that to a great amount. They will I hope give us a few more longer hair options but they still have to balance it out with a few shorter ones as well that's the problem. It looks like based on Sara that the options are better this time and a step forward on DAI but how much of a step I don't think we'll  know before the game releases unless the devs decide to show off some of the CC alternatives at any time which I'm not certain they will unless people ask them too.

yeah hair rin DAI was bad that's one of the reasons why I took to downloading mods for DAI so at least I could play a rogue or mage that looked a bit less bald.I don't think it matters too much if your playing a warrior type all the time but I feel that what with rogues and mages not really expected to be front line combatants to be fair they shouldn't have limited us to them. Mages in genreal play the support role as healer of the group and just act as a distraction by throwing the odd fireball into the mix. Also as good as Varric is at taking down targets with Bianca he's hardly much of a warrior either. Rogues play more as a take em out quick role and not so much heavy handed role. I think Sara's hairstyle is far better than any of the styles we got in DAI and I could see myself using it at some stage with a different face though but I'm hopeful that given Sara's  hairstyle in the trailer and the various threads on the old forum Bioware has taken notice and is doing something about it.

Out of 48 options, I see 10 or 11 that I would consider using. Most are way too "Barbie" for me. That's less than 1 in four, or roughly even to the ME3 ratio. It's even better than the pathetic DAI ratio, since they offered only "bad-worse-worst".

It would seem that there is some merit to the "more is better" philosophy.
