As this increasingly looks like a mistake, it will be interesting to know how many people used this opportunity...  Shame for EA...  I did & it's showing up in my games library how ever, it's been 24hrs since i bought it & its still not shown up on my CC so i'm starting to think EA won't honour it after all. As stated previously EA doesn't charge automatically for pre-orders. It generally wait for a week before release date. I think they will honor it because some money is better than no money from a business perspective. All in all it was an error in the Origin store but I guess they will take the extra-sales that this error gave them. |

Mine shows up just fine in my order history with the discounted price I paid for it. But then the Origin store sells specifically to the NZ region and we have laws that protect us so they HAVE to honour the price I bought it at.
I wouldn't be surprised if it was a PR stunt though. They generated a lot of interest by people telling each other about it; people who might not have pre-ordered did because of the discount, and by not having it up for long they've limited the amount of people who actually got it at that price, while still maximizing the amount of people who heard about it.

I was almost certainly not going to pre-order MEA (at least not until Feb-Mar, supposing a Mar release, and only after seeing a lot of things that finally pushed me over the edge; for the record, that'd be nothing so far), but Dec had my birthday and MEA was a gift to me from another  . |
