I can never get tired of Witcher. Speaking of the Witcher 3, still have both DLCs to play.

Refuse only trolled idiots. Refuse made a mug of anyone role-playing a morally virtuous Shep for sure. To compound matters, the game celebrated the ignorance of anyone gullible enough to trust in the Catalyst and embrace its monstrous solutions. S'why the game f*cking sucks. Any moral code which tells you that sitting back and watching the entire galaxy be destroyed is a good thing is a stupid code. And "it's monstrous solutions" is just silly. Monstrous? If you like. But the Catalyst didn't design the Crucible, and has no control over what it does. If it did, it wouldn't have given you Destroy. And gullibility doesn't enter into it, unless you're trying to push that IT nonsense.

Bioware decided to add a "F*ck you!" ending to troll those who dared call their endings monstrous. See my above post for why they are, before you ask.

It's REALLY time to let go. ME:A is not ME3; it's a totally new game, and it WON'T have the endings of ME3; it won't have a galactic threat like the Reapers either. Furthermore, I thought this thread was about ME:A, not ME3; you are way off topic here, and there's a subforum about ME3 where you all can criticize its endings.

I think people are entitled to feel frustrated by the trilogy ending. Personally, I've made peace with the 'Control' ending, but people's mileage will differ.
And yes, we should probably drift the topic back to MEA at some point, but I recognize that the 'endings' remain a thing until they are superseded by the next game (soon)...

And yes, we should probably drift the topic back to MEA at some point, but I recognize that the 'endings' remain a thing until they are superseded by the next game (soon)... Part of (okay a lot of) the skepticism for MEA stems from the ME3 endings and how Bioware handled the backlash. It makes people wonder just how this story will be handled, be it taking too many stupid risks (again) or playing it too safe, as was a complaint of DAI's vanilla ending. Not to mention how criticism will be taken this time. Plus, even though neither the endings nor (presumably) the Reapers are in MEA, the events still took place in the setting. Those outcomes are still on some level "canon", which really rankles a lot of people.* *unless they announced MEHEM, Marauder Shields, etc are officially on the same level as RGB and I didn't hear about it.

Humpf. It seems like people are complaining about a new car that has yet to come out because an old model often took fire. And my words, as well as other people's, have only made haters getting cocky. I'm going dark on this particular thread.

Art direction has almost nothing to do with the engine. The 'almost' is because the engine might give the artists possibilities they might not otherwise have; but the look of the models, the animations, etc. are done in various specialized bits of software in any case. There's even middleware for tailory, generating trees, eye movement, and so on. One major factor that heavily influences how things look in a 3D environment that is managed by the engine is lighting. It is my understanding and belief that the reason for the shiny skin in DAI has a lot to do with the way FB3 deals with lighting. I expect that BioWare sets some level of sheen for all of the textures, but things can get a little wacky under different lighting conditions. I've not yet read the entire thing, but this paper discusses it in detail.

If you think about that, the "refuse" ending shouldnt exist because the reapers would intercept the arc - following their harvest rules. I'd also doubt that all evidence of the arcs existance can be hidden in time from the reapers, considering tens of thousands of people must have been involved to that project. I guess Bioware didnt think about that when trolling us with the EC. So what? Hardly anyone was indoctrinated. Most people were turned into husks or soup.

Even Marauder Shields couldn't save me from the Pineapples. Or the AI spawned from them.
ME:A, your my only hope. For some decent pizza.
I figure being motivated to find all pineapple life and Nuke it like Anderson wanted me to will help bring peace to various food elements I like.
Yes, I am cooking dinner right now because I am very much starving after work.

Actually, husks are, in fact, heavily indoctrinated people that lost all free will. What he means is that the ones who stayed in the Milky Way during the Reaper War would suffer indoctrination and inform the cuttlefishes about the existence of the Initiative. The Reapers have access to their thoughts to some extent (as Saren tells us), and they transfer that to Capital ships when they become soup. Their knowledge and memories. So, they would probably go after the Ai after finishing with the galaxy. Unless the star brat WiFi signal isn't strong enough.

Or we can assume that the Reapers simply do not care that the Ai left the Milky Way. They beyond ensure the continued existence of life in the Milky Way, they simply might not care about anything beyond it.
If they did they would have travelled to the Andromeda and started their cycle there as well, I doubt BioWare plan to go that route.

And my words, as well as other people's, have only made haters getting cocky. I'm going dark on this particular thread. Yep. A car that was recalled and the manufacturer, rather than fix the problems, added a cupholder and told anyone who said they had missed the point to get lost. They then release MK4 of said car with the same designer at the helm who refuses to acknowledge there was anything wrong with MK3. So, yeah, people have concerns. And I'll get over the endings when someone at BioWare admits they got it wrong and they won't make the same mistake again. It was only last year for me so I'm still pissed off.
