You'll get better at it. Is there an option on console to get red magnifying glasses on your mini-map? It makes witcher senses MUCH easier to use.

I'm so glad you're giving this game a shot! It took me until Novigrad to really get into the game the first time (because you'll finally get to spend some time with Geralt's friends), and I still suck at the combat especially compared to Dragon Age, but once I fell for it I didn't want to stop While Hawke is still my favorite protagonist, Geralt has grown on me, and I love him with Yen.

I love the ambient music in Skellige and some of the songs in Novigrad. I don't like the Velen music as much, though it certainly isn't bad.

I like certain NPCs better than Triss or Yennifer.

Liked the part where you could see Garalt hack the head off. Then it was on my horse like a saddle bag. Nice touch. Then I watched the sun set a bit before heading to the Captain.

And the "nice" Captain had the peasant beaten for bad delivery. Then he offered money and I had to make a "decision." I guess I was supposed to not take the money as some sort of moral statement on what he'd just done? Pah. I'll forward it to a freedom fighter some time, I'm sure. But taking the moral high ground in this case wouldn't have stopped the beating so what would be the point?

Is there like a good/evil point system I should be worried about?
