I can accept the railroading in TW2. They were indie still, new engine, small team. Triss logically made so much more sense than Shani. But to neglect it in TW3 is shit writing or incompetence. 

Huh. I vaguely remember talking to someone at the race track, but that "looking for Dandelion and talk to every woman in the damn city first" quest irritated me so much I don't remember what state she was in. I had Aryan alive so.....?

Zooming along here. Of course, this time around, since I'm spoiled, mostly trying for perfect outcomes. Decide that even if I'm going to kill Djikstra later that I want to see the content where he helps with Kaer Morhen.

Triss will be pissed, but apparently this is the Geralt that lets her get tortured while he does his own thing while romancing her through two games I'll consider it payback for her Lodge Shadiness. I kinda hate the lodge, second only to the Eternal Fire.

Speaking of fire... Intentionally burned Menge to death with Igni and bombs. Thought it was fitting he should die that way.

Triss is going to be mad. She'll feel better when we bang later. She's unhealthy that way.

I just froze the Fire Elemental's butt to the ground and killed it in under a minute.

Switched the game up to Hard Difficulty instead of Normal.

you know, I complained that Skyrim let you do anything and that it sucked anyway.

But I was thinking that when I was completely done with this game that I'd go and murder all the Witch Hunters and Eternal Priests. I saved my game and tried to attack a priest to test out whether I could do this, and it didn't even let me raise my sword

Looting Triss' apartment, I find way more butter knives than a woman should need (6!!). And an apple. Good luck with that.

Then I find "The Last Wish" The story of Geralt and Yenn and I'm like, whoa there Triss. Yer just being mean to yourself now.

So, I skipped the horse races 99% the first game. So I've been doing them this time round, benefit of a lot of coin to be made doing it. Then it turns somewhat legitimate/ far more interesting all of a sudden when Cleaver gets all interested in my mad racing skillz.

Geralt: "What's the Palio?"

Cleaver: "Fuck me, what a peasant."

I knew that, since I'd played once before. It came from a point of like, "I'm going to do some new things this play through" but then I get to him, he's begging for his life, and literally the panel of Geralt's face has the dead woman's feet swinging back and forth in the background. And I just couldn't think of any good reason to keep him alive o-o

I'm very impressed with the High Stakes Quest. I thought Geralt was just scripted to lose, but nope, I just suck at Gwent or don't have the right cards. But it gives you this other opportunity to still complete it that is just so satisfying.

Merigold just about ready to leave. I'm going to resolve the Dandelion thing first. I hate Novigrad Post Mage Exodus. So many priests, the vibe of the place is just awful.
