I don't mind Juggernauts because they can stay alive longer. ...but they don't, which is why I hate them. It always depends on who's playing them. Don't blame the kit because of the player.

Some players still camp, but most run and gun, I would say. The best advice I can give you is to figure out which type of players you are with and do what they are doing. Before I changed from camping to running I got annoyed when the others would spawn rush because eventually the spawn would be forced behind me and little old me would get overwhelmed. Now I find that camping is too slow and boring. Stay loosely with your team and watch your own back -- don't count on others to slow down. If they are pushing across the map, go with them. Pretty soon you will get used to that style of play. Also, that will be good practice for Andromeda, because camping is now discouraged. Meh. I tried doing that with people in most of the games I played last night and... I'm not a fan. It's all too idiotic in my mind, plus I don't have rank 10 weapons nor the best equipment mods or even many characters so... it's just a fail fest. I'm just gonna have to get used to being at the bottom of the leaderboard with my camping self. Funnily enough, the couple times I had teams that stayed together and waited on the enemies, the game was far smoother.

Also, that will be good practice for Andromeda, because camping is now discouraged. This, Andromeda MP will likely be more hectic and involve running & gunning (& jetpacking) across the map. However, don't trust anything Shinobu says. I have it on good authority that she dies playing Juggernaut on silver.

I've played with a few who have stayed alive but don't kill anything and thus just take up space while choking everything they touch, as if they don't have a gun with them. I wouldn't mind if they played more aggressively, the potential is there in that kit but whatever. As far as OP: if you scoreboard watch, have less than maxed weapons and admittedly don't kill fast, you'll feel like you're not helping every time. So don't. Score doesn't mean as much as we like to think it does. The best strategy is to be the best teammate you can be, by being the smartest teammate. Prime or detonate in rhythm with others, use characters that mesh well with the lobby, and always just do something to help. It'll never reflect in the score but it will reflect in the completion time, which is way more important.

Not more than kits like the Krogan Warlord, a bad Puggernaut player will do a lot better than a bad Krolord player (getting sync killed on every single wave with sync kill units).

I will always look for responsibility first and foremost at the player not at the kit. I've seen players that make the Kroguard or the Krolord look badly on Silver and Bronze. And I've seen players that make any kit they play gold and platinum worthy. Blaming the kit is the easy way out, instead of asking yourself what could be done better.

While at the same time you're giving a clean bill of health to the guy that deliberately chooses this kit to play with because "he's a poor average player, that doesn't know better" and "it's the kit's fault, 'cause it's rewarding". As I told you before it's the easy way out.

People laugh at pugs all the time, but i'll admit regularly see some really low level players doing well in game.. i don't mean scorewise , but coherent behavior , not dying every 15 seconds and killing what they can.

It always depends on who's playing them. Don't blame the kit because of the player. Exactly, people that really suck at playing Juggernaut pretty much suck at playing any other kit in the game.
That kit seem to give the impression to a lot of inexperienced players though that it's so OP they can play the highest difficulty in the game, which is why it have such a bad reputation (99% of the Puggernauts you run into are usually bad or inexperienced players believing they can play something they can't just because they play that kit).

That's how I exactly think of players who come into gold or platinum, not even with just the juggernaut but any other strong kits like even the TGI as well. I really dislike this mentality of when players own a kit such as the above mentioned already like the juggernaut, it doesn't give you instant upgrade in player skill to just go into gold and platinum expecting to do well.

Overall I find fault with the player not the kit. If it's a low level player, it's true that they should have no business in gold or plat until they get a firm hold or understanding of the kit. It is true that alot of newcomers think they can steamroll everything when they get a Juggernaut. I've been playing for awhile now and i'am still hit or miss with the juggy. Like others have mentioned tho, i have seen juggys that have stood down incredible onslaughts in plat taking on Scion pulse cannon's, carpet grenades, Praetorian lasers and melee jabs and clear the wave using his heavy melee, turret and weapon. Practice makes perfect tho, and we all crashed and burned until we felt comfortable with a kit we can kick-ass with... (Phoenix Vanguard)....
