Mass Effect: Andromeda Official Cinematic Trailer #2!

Movie wise Marvel is kicking ass and taking names, hell even Disney animation is looking to like it's having a third Golden Age.
TV wise DC and the CW are kicking Marvel's ass. Jessica Jones and the first season of Agent Carter are the only things that have been cool.
Comic wise depends on what your looking for. 

Most these whiners come from "hardcore grimdark" fanboys who don't like any kind of humor, color, and don't want a sense of fun or whimsy and want everything in ugly grey depressing tones because God forbid should someone actually NOT want to kill themselves after watching or playing said media.
 
Frankly I'm sick of the nihilistic dark morally grey "complex" look that every other movie, game, TV show, and comic book has done. Sure some of it's great like Jessica Jones, Caprica, and Battlestar Galactia but the rest of it is just stupid pretentious bullshit thinking that that thinks it's mature and has something insightful or meaningful to say and in reality has the maturity of 12 year old cussing trying to look older and has nothing to say like Torchwood, Daredevil, Luke Cage, and like the current DC Movie Universe and Micheal Bay's God-awful Transformers movies.

I don't hate all of the grimdark stuff but after awhile it gets old and rarely is worth replaying or rewatching outside of ironic appreciation or if you want to really want to be depressed. The real world is depressing enough I don't need all of my media making me want to kill myself so yeah I welcome the return of color, fun, and whimsy to my media.

In any case, on the topic of language, it would be great if there was a 'Children of Tama' (Darmok) type species. There could be a side quest, trying to communicate with one.

Sure, to me Jack probably has the prettiest face in the entire series.
My original trilogy waifu was Liara though.

Eh, I think chances increased that Vetra will be lesbian, if all 3 female squadmates are LI.

I could never really get past the tattoos. It makes her character look interesting, but it's just not something I'd ever go for no matter how pretty the face.

Perhaps our playing as Alec would have been too similar to being a Shepard 2.0.  If that happened, I think there would be a bit of rancor among the fan base, though it wouldn't have bothered me. Once we've become an N7, we'll always be an N7!

That really is one pretty awesome design

Like what I've seen so far, hope their personalities are good. I will start to avoid things now so that I can be surprised.

There's no way in hell I'm using the default BroRyder. I'll make mine look like the San Andreas Ryder; and his armor will be all bedecked in green.
