One should be careful about making statements like "it will change a lot of negative sentiment". Never underestimate how loud and persistent people who want to hate on things are.
Though in personal I try to avoid the hype train as well as the counter-part negative train prior to a game release.
Still, it's always nice to see more of the game so I would welcome a new trailer.

He's been right about pretty much everything he's said about MEA so Not really. Still, here's hoping he's right about this.

I really want more info on the ability-changing stuff. I hope it's not too easy to re-spec - then every Ryder will seem the same. I also hope that bosses/big enemies have more than one "preferred" ability set to take them down - for more replay value.

Here's some negative sentiment for you Bioware: I bet your squadmates suck. I bet they're all gross looking and lame. Especially Liam. And Cora. I bet this Jaal character is the lamest of all. And ugly. That's why your hiding them, isn't it? Well? WELL!!?? *breathes*

Personally I'll just keep on avoiding the Shinobi hypetrain. He's licking BioWare's boots because he's friends with them and always putting in a good word and he's also a huge fan himself but he tends to be overly positive about everything to the point where it gets delusional. He's said "It's amazing" ever since the first trailer was about to release and the reactions to it reflected opinions to the contrary. Don't buy into stuff Shinobi says if you're already a bit on the skeptical side.

I already get this vibe from the little I've seen that they're more lighthearted (not just PeeBee) and the last thing I want is a whole squad of Kasumi-DLC members. She was a mistake - an anime-fanfic character in Mass Effect and a genre-break. I hope they're worthwhile and interesting and in service of good world-building and not all there to make waifu-hype and fanart.

He also said that Bioware would have a Fallout 4-esque information blowout at E3 last year, and we all know how that went.

Don't buy into stuff Shinobi says if you're already a bit on the skeptical side. He's said the game itself is amazing, based on whatever insider knowledge he utilizes, or the trailer itself was amazing, and which is the first trailer we are talking about the one from a couple E3s back or the one they released for N7 day? Regardless I do not know how much of the criticism cxan be undone by a 'trailer' given most of the criticsm stems from confusion about gameplay

Excellent To be fair I don't think there has been a huge amount of negativity, at least not on BSN2. A few of the usual suspects have taken every opportunity to have a swipe at Bioware but the overall vibe has felt pretty positive. There are some things I have (fairly, IMO) voiced concerns about, like power restrictions and the apparent lack of a tactical pause, but I'm still pumped to play MEA.

He has on multiple occasions said Bioware were going to show more than they did going back 3 years. He said they had a name for it teasing ______t which obviously turned out to be incorrect since it ended up being Andromeda. Pretty much everything in that link you sent had been revealed previously (there may have been some new stuff in it, I don't know for sure but the guts were out well before). Now obviously he may have heard some inside information which was changed and I don't blame him for for sharing such information, I believe he is genuinely enthusiastic and I don't believe he was deliberately misleading anyone. But don't try to imply he has been some sort of ME:A inside info guru and font of knowledge. As for this statement, we'll see. It's a very subjective statement (about changing opinions) and I personally doubt a new trailer will change peoples preconceptions at this stage. Peoples preconceptions go to quite a deep level while what you are going to get in a trailer is comparatively superficial.

Considering what he has praised about Mass Effect: Andromeda and what we currently know, I highly doubt that. If anything I expect my "negative sentiment" to increase.

"teasing ______t" ........ That was a joke for "Mass Effect." lol you people. And pretty much nothing he leaked had been known. This was all leaked before the Game informer coverage had even begun so there's literally no way you knew most of it already. "But don't try to imply he has been some sort of ME:A inside info guru and font of knowledge." Again most of everything you can actually quote him as leaking turned about to be true. This discussion happens every time Shinobi is brought up yet none of you doubters can ever link to anything he said that was super incorrect and just shit on everything and cry about Bioware lying to you and misleading you.

I think I could adapt my style to be able to cope with the moer action style. Assuming the general difficulty is the same as it was before that is so I'm not too concerned. Would be nice to see Liam and Cora though given we've not seen them yet. Looking forward to seeing Sara again as well.

I can't be bothered trawling through 2-4 year old content on message boards to find it. You can believe or disbelieve me, I don't care, but if lots of different people are telling you the same thing you should consider it is possible they are correct. I'm pretty sure he was not joking at the time of his name tease, people started to joke it was Dentist rather than Contact, but that wasn't Shinobi. As for knowing information about the game previously, there were two big leaks about the game. One was from a survey Bioware ran and I can't quite remember the other but it led to a Neogaf thread being deleted. These were both well before anything recent or official but they contained the vast bulk of the information we now have.

I'd love someone to actually quote him on these "blowout he predicted" that never came true. Yes, he did say it. Almost word-for-word, in fact. And he also said it in this podcast interview about a month after posting that on NeoGAF. “After that I was told they’re going completely dark until E3 because I was literally told ‘we’re going to approach it Fallout 4-style.’ Literally. It’s smart too because you don’t want to keep stringing people along for years,”I want him to be right about this one, but he's been wrong on enough things that I do not trust him as an information source. If he winds up being right, then that's fantastic. If he winds up being wrong, then don't say I didn't try to warn you.
