Actually they have never shocked me with romance stories either because I always know what to expect... hmmm... maybe I should romance him and just do it without looking ahead of things. Get the real feel of it for myself for once! |

No point in worrying about it in any case. I plan to romance everyone! Not all at once of course, but every playthrough will be someone new.  This is so hard for me, especially if I find a romance I really fall in love with. Usually I can get away with one male romance and one female one. I also have to REALLY love the game. I easily was able to do that with DA2 (my favorite DA game) and I'm trying with DAI (finished one romance and one modded romance, and currently have four other unmodded ones ongoing) but it is so hard to finish DAI yet again; I find it so damn long and boring. Ditto DAO although I love Zevran. The game is just so boring. So I'm pleased that I'm finally able to play ME series and romance someone BESIDES KAIDAN; it'll be a delightful ride lol! |

He is literally the only one who basically proposes to you... out of pure love, not political stuff. And Fenris, you know I love Fenris, and his romance ends so happily and gives the warm tinglies lol Thane and Solas I'll grant you are incredibly depressing. And have pretty lame endings I think... but oh well. Only one of those is ME, and personally I feel they've learned their lesson with Thane and Jacob. |

I definitely wasn't basing any of my speculation on anything serious. Mostly just throwing random stuff around. xD Well she's Canadian, and we rarely lie but yeah, I remember Tom called him a Sir, but I don't remember a dev saying that... but Aaryn called him dapper! Right yes, that was it! And then there was talk about maybe that being like a gentleman. Thank you! On the topic of other romances... While I ended up romancing Alistair first, I ended up enjoying Zev's route a lot more on later playthroughs. Same with enjoying Fenris and Merrill more than Anders... and Sera's romance more than Solas. But without a doubt, the more tragic romances still leave a lasting impact... so much so that I think I prefer playing them first. It makes the first play through way more dramatic and fun... for me haha. I definitely agree that DA:I was too long for me to play through too many times. I was able to for DA:O and DA2 but not DA:I. All I did in DA:I was my first blind run romancing Solas, a Qunari lady for Sera and a dwarf lady for IB.  And honestly? A girl Warden's relationship with Morrigan is one of my top favorite things in all of Dragon Age(even if I would love to romance her). It's why I'm not too worried about whatever MEA will bring. Maybe I'm just too easy to please but... it'd be pretty hard for me to end up disappointed with Jaal. |

Yea, it's really funny sometimes when you look at a dev tweet and seeing them posting something vague. I admit sometimes i get out my tin foil hat when I see some. "He's talking about the Nomad shaking?" Nomad romance confirmed? "SAM does something in our heads?" Subplot where SAM turns into a rogue ai and uses Ryder to rule the galaxy confirmed. Speaking of which I wonder if the Angara people have had a machine war yet.The Remnants seem to be machines, so I guess they are all what remained after a now perished civilization had a conflict with their AI-creations and lost. They wouldn't be called them "remnant" if they belonged to an existing civilization, and the Angara or Kett are still around. So these two can't be the creators of the Remnants, but they very likely know what happened to them. If they are not as stupid as humans they might have learned their lesson from this and not created their own AIs. Come to think of it, this might provide a reason for hostilities between the Angara and the Kett: one wants to use Remnant technology, the other tries to stop them. I don't remember a source, but I think it was said that when we arrive in Andromeda there is already a conflict going on. The Kett and the Angara are the most likely candidates for this, if only because no other races have been mentioned so far. Should be interesting how a third party (meaning us) would affect an already tense situation. |

TRAITORS!!I'm super conflicted about who I'm going to be romancing right now  I know the devs are all whatever with their so called decision to not release romance information, which I can understand for NPC romances that might happen on the Nexus or other planets etc. But when it comes to our immediate squadmates and ship crew, I would prefer just a bit of a heads up. It lets one get prepared mentally as to who can and can't be on your list, especially for the first time through, and doubly so for gay/lesbian Ryders - who are no doubt looking at a much shorter list to begin with. If Jaal is available to my gay Scott, I'll be checking him out as we get to know him and see - but at the same time I'd like to be able to have him as a friend first and then romance him later on with another. But I guess we shall see, either way Jaal is one rockin' cat-squid who will get lots of attention from us  |
