Bioware's strategic diversity

Man cram humanity and all of our "diversity". The setting already has us Earthlings as the undisputed ubermench of the entire universe. If you want to talk about under-represented minorities then I would look no farther than all the various 'alien' elements left by the wayside as the franchise has moved on.

Blonde is not the most common hair color in either North America or most of Europe.

Canada's cities are as diverse as those in the United States. 

What is or isn't desirable as far as physical appearance goes is entirely subjective, and varies from person to person. You may prefer blondes. That doesn't mean everyone does.

The Systems Alliance does not just represent North America & Europe.

I personally don't care what shade the LIs are one way or the other, I just don't think the points you raised work as an argument against Bioware including LIs who aren't white and blonde.
