Eh I really enjoy Cora's hair.. and think she's quite conventional looking character in the end. Her hairstyle is somewhat common, long side bang, other side shaved. Her facial features are quite common as well, I don't get the fuss. Maybe some have negative connotations for her hair, but I'm not familiar with soccer mom or "let me talk to your manager" types so I don't.
In terms of romances, I feel like I'm just in "pending for romance information" mode about ME:A at the moment. I don't get that pumped about new info, I kinda need to know who I can romance before getting more interested in the actual game.

She looks like a girl from my generation honestly. Old school punk gal who's now a mom with two kids but she's still cool, ya know. Lol. She reminds me of a soccer mom who goes to get her hair done and says that she wants something hip and edgy. Then she comes home all proud of herself, twirling around with her new edgy haircut that'll definitely be the topic of discussion the next time she goes to the soccer practice with her kids and her fellow soccer moms. She thinks they'll love it and say how youthful and sassy and rock'n'roll she is and she is just so excited. Then she goes to her eldest kids room without knocking on the door as if to pick up some laundry, and she hovers around hoping to get praised by her kid for being such a cool mom who is so rock'n'roll, I mean she listened to Metallica once and loves Bruce Springsteen so she is a total rockhead! But of course, her kid says nothing about her hair. Frustrated, she asks '' so what do you think about my hair? It's pretty cool, I'm like a rock'n'roll mom haha! '' and all her kid says is '' it's ok '' and she gets pissed off. She then starts bitching and moaning about this and that, why is your room messy, why you on the computer all day, why is this there, why is this on the floor, and she slams the door as she leaves. She whines and cries for the rest of the day cuz none of her kids said she was a cool rock'n'roll mom, and even if her husband tries to say something nice (even though he isn't into the haircut at all) she doesn't believe him. This results in her not giving a damn about stylizing her edgy haircut and it just looks awful and terrible. Do you want to talk about it? :poker: Seems you have some issues you are projecting. Oh, and Steelcan since I have no idea what's "conventionally attractive", I don't know what is wrong with Cora. But if there's people that thinks, so I assume they know what they talk about.

This is why I o.O about everyone wanting a butch lesbian. I get that some people have types, but I feel that would hit some stereotypes. I always think that stereotypes get a bum deal. It's not that they are bad writ large. It's when they are overused that it's an issue. I mean, stereotypes exist for a reason. Many lesbians are butch, which is where the stereotype comes from. So to avoid the stereotype altogether eliminates seeing any butch ladies in these games, which leaves out something that many lesbians find very attractive. Same with feminine gay men. I mean, like Liberace/Paul Lynde/Charles Nelson Riley type of feminine gay guy. It's not my thing, but it's a thing and it's a shame that the devs are so afraid of being villainized (and in their defense, they would be wrongly villainized for it) that they avoid it completely. At this point, if they added in a super butch lesbian and really feminine gay guy, it shouldn't be a big deal because those type of people exist and they've already demonstrated that it's not the only representation that they can offer of gay people. Anyways, I would love Bioware to throw us the most aggressively butch love interest ever and give her a complex, interesting, non-gendered character arc and romance, with at least some connection to the main plot. That'd be the dream, man. Yaaaaaaas! Super butch. I'm talking this: Considering we've never had a butch f/f LI, I think we can afford to hit some stereotypes. Women like that exist, and women who like women like that exist... the constant barrage of poster girls is a bit done and over with. Exactly. The audience for lesbian romances should be lesbians first. And many lesbians absolutely love feminine "lip stick" girls. But many also love butch girls (running from hard butch to soft butch to baby butch to "chapstick" lesbians). And we don't really see those gals. Or, more accurately, we see them (Cora, Cass) and they are straight. I think she just suffers from the rare but incurable disease known as BioWare Modeling. I think she just suffers from the rare but curable disease known as BioWare Hairstyles. Honestly, if she had long blonde hair in a bun, this entire conversation wouldn't be happening. Fact, the side cuts are not associated with traditionally feminine looks or conventional views of what makes a woman attractive, think your Marilyn Monroes, Petty Paiges, Blake Livelys, Farah Fawcetts, and so on. They may be your personal cup of tea and all the more power to you. since most of these are dead I'll throw in some others, Yvonne Strahovski, Taylor Swift, Kate Upton, Mila Kunis Now this is clearly long hair pulled back, but it looks remarkably like Cora's hair. And, to be honest, I'm not seeing how Kate with this hairstyle looks dramatically different than Cora's undercut (outside of knowing that from other angles it's long).

Why should I otherwise use smiles? Or are you projecting and this response is a defense mechanism? (That was a joke if you didn't got it)

It's from Dante In Name Only lol, what many bitter DMC fans call him but it kinda stuck and he's often referred to as Dino now I know about the initial redesign but after first reveal with the angry-emo look they changed him a bit again to final version in your avatar Also, you forgot key scene Wait, Kian's avatar is a redesign of Dante from devil may cry!? That's one of the best redesigns I've ever seen! I put all the pics in spoiler so it doesn't take out too much space:

Why should I otherwise use smiles? Or are you projecting and this response is a defense mechanism? (That was a joke if you didn't got it) I definitely was defensive for real, cuz it seemed like a lot of people completely missed the humor in over analyzing and telling such a stupid tale over a damn haircut, so your comment didn't seem much different and I couldn't really see past the obvious jokes. BUT TO MY DEFENSE, I think most smilies are the most passive-aggressive things ever and I do not do well with smilies!

I just can't with the Cora hair-but I support anyone who loves it. Myself I'd probably be that one person that is like "your hair is terrible, but I love you anyway!" She'd probably hurt me, but at least I'd be a real friend.

Both Dante's are equally hot to me though in different ways. I would be thrilled by either version of him, and it feels mostly the difference is the color of the hair. (and maybe aging)

I think the original Dante looks cooler then the new one. Don't know about being attractive since I'm not interested in men.

Neither of the Dantes are my ideal, but if we have to throw down between skinny soccer twink with boring haircut vs original Dante, Im going with original Dante. Just being cautious if there are any BW devs lurking around trying to find inspiration for the next gay male LI then no, I do not support of the new Dante message lol!

Nyreen was DLC... Honestly, though, I'd be peeved if any time we get a gaylien, they're only DLC content. Yeah, it would be nice to have one right off the bat. It took me three whole games and years of praying to get a strapping Qunari man to bang as a male character.

Of all the things to focus on... true, we have so much stuff to focus on right now for the romances, truly we are spoiled with the amount of information we know I'm referring to the hair fixation. It's getting a ridiculous thing to focus on, and no amount of new information has changed that, so kindly, I find your reasoning irrelevant. All the hearts.

I've never played the games (they are in my to do list), but I prefer old Dante too. Don't fight me Kian I'm still waiting for a native american LI, I love their culture and it would be interesting to see how their culture survived in ME timeline, I hope there's one in the Nexus. Oh and an asian LI, the reason why we haven't had one is beyond me, Kai Leng face model is a waaaaaaaaaaaaste

It's amazing what you can do with the faces in the DA:I character creator, so it seems likely something to that nature could be achieved with the right amount of time (and maybe skill/luck). Myself I seem to be really bad with character creator and most of mine wind up looking about like my avatar. I guess I'm hooked on a certain facial set up though.

DA:I character creator is so horrible though. It's the lighting that makes your character look so dope, but once you exit it oh boy... not good, NOT GOOD. So many wasted hours on that son of a bitch only to end up deleting the Inquisitor because he looks disgusting in natural daylight.

That is different if they specifically ask for your honest opinion I get so touchy about hair (is that obvious yet...). Mine is thin and fine. It resists dyeing. I actually use rogaine to keep it from thinning even more. And the one time I tried for a more androgynous haircut everyone, all my friends and family, went totally silent. Usually people compliment me on my hair all the time. But it was radio silence + weird looks for about three months. I was happier with my look but I couldn't handle the judgment, so I went back to my usual cut. Ugh. There's just so much that goes into the way someone presents themselves. I guess it "triggers" me when I see characters getting judged by their appearance lol
