Dude/dudette... what are ya talking about? Share, ploix! [ CRINGES] Okay, but, seriously. Super unconfirmed. I have seen two separate half-conversations (because the apparent in-the-know halves were protected accounts, and thus I was only able to read the reactions) about MEA romances. Both conversations seemed to indicate that (oh goodness, so many pinches of salt, buckets of salt, dump-trucks of salt) there was a romanceable Salarian. [FLAILS] BUT SERIOUSLY pinch of salt with that, okay? They weren't conversations directed at me, I have asked no questions, these are just things I've seen while searching through Twitter. Heck, no one even named-names.
[WAILS] I am trying to remain rational. I would hesitate to even call that a leak. It's like a trickle. This is Snape listening through the door at the Leaky Cauldron about the prophecy level stuff here. But I've seen it twice now. So. Ugh, please, Bioware. Valentines Day. Please. Please. [ STARES INTO THE ABYSS] This is now the second time where I've come across tweets that sound like they're talking about leaky romance stuff. Unfortunately, the twitter account that seems to have the information about romance stuff is privated, so, I have no idea the entire context of what's being said. I dun wanna link 'em cuz they could be nothing, they're aren't official, and it could be just me reading into them ( plus, privated, so, I'd feel sketchy), but, I just wanted to vent. Hope is the worst. [ FLOPS TO THE FLOOR] Bioware, Valentine's day is two days away. Please, put me outta my misery. I wouldn't go by anything but developer tweets and confirmation, and when we get round to playing the game and finding out ourselves. I'm hoping for some news on Valentine's Day also, to put me out of my misery regarding my fears for the m/m romance options etc. I know. That's why I'm stamping big ol' warning signs over this, cuz it's the lowest quality leak, right? This is third-hand stuff.  But, if there was a place for it, it's this thread. |

I do wonder, however... Didn't one of the Bioware people tweet about talking to marketing about their romance scenes, or, the content of the romances? Perhaps these people caught sight of it. That's where my brain is right now. So, if Valentine's Day comes and goes, and we have nothing? Then I'll probably disregard this and stuff I've misinterpreted. |

Even if we try not to get excited about that, we're going to be. And if it turns out to be nothing when we get the game everyone's going to disappointed. It sucks.

I'm being silly, considering the ammount of hope I have riding on a Valentine's Day romance drop. Of course, thinking back to DAI, didn't they just release, like, actual Valentines with characters on them? Some of which ended up not being LI?

I am not excited by the prospect of a Kallo Jath romance. Didn't Mordin say salarians don't experience sexual attraction as humans do? Much more importantly to me, salarians look like salarians.
But of course, still know almost nothing about M/M romances. If there's one I like, won't be too disappointed with how the romance zots are otherwise distributed~ I've got no expectations for Valentine's Day. Where are these expectations coming from, atm? (Sorry if it's on this page!) I have vague memories of Vivienne being in a Valentine meme, but not romanceable. (Only started paying attention to DAI after Valentine's Day during its release year, though) I remember people ferreting out the (almost) all bi romances in DA2 on the forums. Maybe not on Valentine's Day, but early in the year. (That game was a March release, too, iirc) Getting a dopamine rush just thinking about it. Good times! I think it is because some DA:I romances were oficial on that day? I do not quite remember. |

But, if my " guys, guys, I saw two tweets, guys" counts, then, I suppose we might as well poke at this one, too.  I adore Krogans, and I wanted to romance Wrex so badly in the original Mass Effect. I'd love to see it happen. I sincerely think that Jaal is gonna be MEA's Liara. Meaning, he's the first Andromedan that's available to us as an LI, and the one through which we learn about the new galaxy. Sure, Tali and Garrus spoke a bit about their respective species, but, Liara was who you brought along if you wanted the info drops. I'd be shocked if he ended up being a light romance, nothing but a fling. I expect his LI arc to be fleshed out and important. |

Ha, I figured it was this one. But, if my " guys, guys, I saw two tweets, guys" counts, then, I suppose we might as well poke at this one, too. I adore Krogans, and I wanted to romance Wrex so badly in the original Mass Effect. I'd love to see it happen. I sincerely think that Jaal is gonna be MEA's Liara. Meaning, he's the first Andromedan that's available to us as an LI, and the one through which we learn about the new galaxy. Sure, Tali and Garrus spoke a bit about their respective species, but, Liara was who you brought along if you wanted the info drops. I'd be shocked if he ended up being a light romance, nothing but a fling. I expect his LI arc to be fleshed out and important. Oh I would love a romance with a Krogan, but the cringing is due to what type of romance and my little Sara would not survive I fear As for Jaal, I don't know. He's not like Solas (uses you and leaves you), but you will be happy AND sad? Is that how Liara went? I romanced a dying man and a nerve-wrecked Turian, so I have no idea. |

Yes, I agree we really do not know its true source really. Okay. Sorry, I guess I'm a little confused, I'm just not sure why we're using it as an indicator in that case. Mostly because it was right about some of them, there are good hints for Vetra being a romance for example, in her VA facebook page and someone calling her space wife. Also there was a confirmation for a lesbian character, people are assuming it is Dr. Lexi??? maybe? So there were good indicators but it not at all oficial. |
