Alistair is still one of the worst if you play as anything but a noble. Anders with the Chantry. Solas with his hidden agenda. Blackwall with his lies. Bull can betray you. Jacob cheats on you. Thane dies. Oh, I know. As I said, that was me listing what I'd call the 'happy' romances. Even they all have their sad moments, or the characters at least do. As for Anders... I can see it from both sides. My Hawke always forgives him and they run off together - whether she's horrified by what he's done but loves him too much to condemn him for it, or if she's a pro-mage radical that approves of his message, if not his methods. But... I still think what he does is horrific and his lying to her is a betrayal. Add to that his mental instability and the toll Justice takes on him... At best, the ending is bittersweet, but heavy on the bitter. Now, I love his romance, and find his story arc super compelling, but, as with the Solas romance (which I also love, for all it's heartbreak and it's uncertain future...) I'm just kinda done with these kind of romance plots for now. One game, Bioware. Just one game where all my romances with male LIs can at least end happily. You know, kinda like how every romance with a female LI you've ever done in ME/DA can? Just think about that what happen, if Anders do not blow up the Chantry, – possibility 1: Hawke make a rebellion with the nobles. The end result: Kirkwall on fire, innocents die on the streets. – possibility 2: the Grand Cleric crawl out of his hiding place, worries about of the eternity, and send Orsino back to the Circle, Meredith get the approval for Val Royeaux, because of the blood mages, and Annul the Circle. Innocent victims again, perhaps included Bethany. – possibility 3: Meredith simply become mad because of her big red sword, and destroy Kirkwall.
The end result always innocent victims. Inevitably. So: what's wrong with Anders? Lied. Once. And tainted. And perhaps unstable.

Damn it, I hope there are more human females for male Ryder. The only way I'll romance Cora is if she is in fact related to the illusive man. She just looks like an old woman to me. You had Ash in ME1, and Miranda and Jack in ME2, be thankful you get any female humans, you've already had more than some people have had in the past. Plus there's always Peebee (and likely Vetra) and the assurance you'll probably have plenty of light fling romances also.

That's the thing that bugs me the most. In MEA, I really want a way to avert tragedies like that. Even if I have to jump through hoops to do it. I don't care. Just give me the option.

How would he know if he'd like her any more than Cora? Anyways, I'm sure people playing straight guys won't be lacking in options, since the franchise tends to have more options for straight men overall.

Eh, Okay. He does feel bad about it but he doesn't regret it. At least, not that I remember. This still bothers me that he thought it was a necessary evil. Also, I don't need all tragedies averted, just the ones that negatively affect my LI. Wishful thinking but it would be nice. Like, I could have persuaded Anders to not go through with it but the Chantry goes boom anyway because a crazed mage got hold of his manifesto. Still a tragedy, but at least my LI isn't the perpetrator.

Firstly this is not "I need more straight women argument" This is I would like more Human females period, I wouldn't care if they were lesbian, because I'd just play as Sara instead of Scott. I just prefer playing as male more. I have never romanced outside of the human species in ME, so I don't have Vetra or PeeBee because they are filth anyway. Also why would I want a fling romance? I don't even like the romances for the idiotic sex scenes, I romance mainly for the dialogue. Cora is just old looking, and It looks weird when Ryder was kissing her. She looks as though she could be his grandmother.

I don't like aliens, PERIOD. I wouldn't care if they were the embodiment of the Illusive man himself. I'd still dislike them. It's not about looks, it's about their species.

Ok I get it. you automatically don't want to romance the alien in this game, but I got one concern. How in the world does Cora look like she could be Scott's grandmother to you?

I don't see it. That looks nothing like Cora's face to me... It's just perception. It's like when a lot of people said Cassandra had a male jawline. Personally I couldn't see it, I thought Cass looked great. I just wish Cora would have looked more like this instead.
