2017 is an odd year for me. Its looking more and more like Andromeda might be my only purchase. And even though its being released in March along with a lot of other games I think Andromeda will shine and truly take up the spotlight. Thus people might buy that usually dont do Rpgs but are part of the shooter audience. Plus there advertisement might finally kick into full gear, more footage shown, etc.

Don't know so I just plumped for the middle one. But yeah it'l be a big year for Andromeda because not only will we get the game in March there's like4ly to be a few DLC's released later in the year as well. The first of those will likely appear around the summer I'd have thought withthe other's toward the latter end of the year

ME3 sold 3,5 million copies the first week. 890,000 of those on the first day. Or so says google. Not sure about DAI.

I think they lost fans after ME3 honestly, but there's such a big PS4 install base I wouldn't be surprised if the new fans get it. Problem is that the marketing doens't make it look that good... except the recent trailer is okay I think. I still think the revealed gameplay thus far kinda looks like it's missing some kind of hook that makes me be all over it.

I agree with those numbers. Maybe 2.5m. It's not gonna do more than 4, so anyone not chosing the 1st option is wrong.

I believe it's gonna sell less than ME3 and continue the recent trend of underperforming sequels. Unfortunately.

ME3 was released so long ago that I don't think it will influence ME:A sales that much. Selling 2-3 million copies in the first week is a realistic goal for EA.

I'm taking numbers from vgchartz with a huge grain of salt.

I'm not necessarily saying MEA won't outsell DAI, just pointing out the potential customer base was much higher with DAI, even though hardcore gamers, those who buy most games, have already switched to next-gen for the most part.
