Who is Your Ryder Face Model?

In Sara's thread I think it was I already saw someone using Alicia Vikander ( ) as face model, now I only have left finding someone using Marion Cotillard ( )

I have a pretty clear image in my mind about how I want my Ryder to look, but I have no real face model for her, though she's vaguely based on 


her too (both character and actress)

You know, it's funny you say that because I'm super stunned no one is basing their Sis!Ryder on Sansa Stark. Or Daenarys Targaryen. In all honesty, I would think they'd be among the first. Seriously, who wouldn't want the Mother of Dragons fighting a giant sand worm?

Obviously it depends a lot on the CC for me so my plans could change yet. I don't really have any planned ideas for my Scott's yet but I do have a couple of ideas for Sara. I was thinking of something along the lines of Nina Dobrev for me or something like Lucie Jones.



At least this is what I've got planned atm anyway whether it works out or not we'll see.

Do you guys have any idea as to what you're gonna do with your Ryders yet? Like if you're gonna lean toward a traditional ME class? Who you're gonna romance? Who you think your main squadmates will be? What you're gonna name them? Who you predict their best friend is gonna be... ? That sort of thing. Any thoughts on those?

I usually don't use a real person to model my faces after.
I just hit the editor and play around a bit before I usually end up with a cute looking female character. When I play women I like them more cute instead of sexy or really badass looking.
Though that will vary a bit on the role they have to fill. My first Shepard ended up looking a bit like Sigourny Weaver and that's why I named here Ellen after Ellen Ripley. But Shepard was a special case...the first three to four tries I had to kill...with fire...like...yeah...the Ripleys in the last Alien film...

I like high cheekbones and unusual eye colors and a more softer, feminine style without being too unrealistic, I think? I mean I love longer hair but you have to think a bit practical. When you do a lot of fighting, long hair in your face is a nogo...so I go with tied back hair options if I can. Not a big fan for short hair on women though it CAN look cute. Hair colors depend a bit on the race and the setting.

Male characters are a bit more tricky to do for me. I didn't like the look of Male Shep and had to change that as well...I think I drew inspiration from other players but he ended up looking a little bit weird. His forehead was a bit broad.

All in all I tend to play rather boring or normal looking characters. I like them pretty, sure...but...well...if they could be any other guy off the street...that's perfect for me

Class wise I'm not sure yet. I loved the vanguard in ME 2 and 3 but that class was reserved for my more renegard MShep and fit him perfectly.
Since I think I will start to play as SisRyder I might look into Sentinel or Adept. Or maybe even Infiltrator. Vanguard will probably my male choice again.

Namewise I think I'll stick with the given names. Sarah I like and it would be really really nice to get called that ingame. I hated that even to your best friends and/or lovers you always and only were Shepard. Didn't make much sense to me. So if they changed that in ME:A I will gladly take it.

Who I'm going to take with me I dunno yet but I like a little bit of diversity class wise.

I think this is what I'm going to go with…..which is basically similar to my Shepard. Yeah, I'll never let go.

I think I'm gonna go for a Sentinel type of build, but I might deviate a bit so I can use a sniper rifle. I like the utility of a Sentinel. And a sniper rifle is so much fun to use. I always end up struggling trying to pick between the two in the original trilogy, but I love Sentinel more because of Throw and Tech Armor. So I usually go Sentinel anyway. I'll probably do another class in a second playthrough, like maybe lean more toward Adept or something. But definitely wanna go for Sentinel in my first go-round.

As for names, I really have come to like the name Salene for my character. I think it's pretty. So Salene will likely be my first Ryder. And I'll just keep the default Ryder name for the second one.

A little bummed they didn't do what Fallout 4 did where they just recorded voice actors saying a bunch of names players might pick. But eh, maybe in another game. And I suppose it was only Cogsworth saying your name in that game. Either way, would be kind of nice for your LI to call you by a non-default name. Non-topic-related thought. But anyway...

Me and myself for the first time ever, going to try to make Ryder as close as possible. As for face models it is probably a mix of Melissa Benoist with Evangeline Lilly.

Hopefully MEA will be better. DAI seemed to do a decent job with dark skin, I thought. Vivienne looked gorgeous and the dark skinned chars I made looked very nice.

When I saw this picture, I thought it was Ryan Reynolds. Who's making Ryan Reynolds Ryder?

Such a talented actress! I love that show!  Actually her face would match Sara's seemingly quirky personality (based on the Tom&Fryda bts video).
