Who is Your Ryder Face Model?

Male playthrough - my own face, a slightly better version of it.

For my female Ryder play-I'll try to recreate the face of my DA:I Qunari.

That's (very mildly) disappointing.

Unfortunately not. For some reason they decided to make the default Scott/Sara faces unalterable.

Yeah, it's disappointing. I was hoping to just make a few minor alterations myself.

I'm thinking this guy. Maybe, like, ten years younger. Buzz his hair, go face sruff/stubble. Perfect. Screams Mass Effect, to me.

Nobody - why? Because I want to build my own character (with a face that I like, same for the other attributes - like eye-color!), I don't want to re-create somebody and spend hours obsessing about getting it right, I will be in the CC a long time anyway, but it would be even fucking longer if I tried to faithfully recreate another person (and the result would probably look worse than default female Ryders does who IMHO looks nothing like face model! Especially since the CC is very basic, while the tools the devs have and have used for the characters in the game are lots better but useless if you don't have any experience using them!)

THIS. I mean, it was 13, but it certainly felt like 50. Who needs so many styles of bald?!?! Nobody, that's who. Particularly not when there's only one truly pretty hairstyle in the entire bunch, which I chose more than once.  

Anyway. My ginger BroRyder will probably look similar to this: It will be weird having him be that pretty while unromanceable, but... eh. I'll get over it, and try to recreate him for a Scott playthrough later.

Ryder, my first protagonist... this time I'm planning to use Sara for a name because I like that the lines will use the name in dialogue, which will feel more natural for my first playthrough--and I will likely model my Ryder after Alexandra Breckenridge, because I feel like she fits the voice and my preferences. I mean, just LOOK at her. Who wouldn't be happy with that face if you have to look at one for hours on end? She's like a cutesy femme fatale; the epitome of girl next door charm until she buries an axe in a zombie's face or terrorizes the living. Perfect visual fit for Sara's sound.



I will likely seek a wavy long-haired option and a wild deep ruby hair-color if possible. Otherwise, I will choose as similar a red to the picture as possible or my standard staple of black hair, and likely look for a braid as a bit of an homage to Carrie Fisher and Leia. If that's not possible because there are 17 bald options and little else of interest, I'll go with a default-ponytail.

C'mon, Bioware, give us some CC info, I'm dying here. XP

Bioware character customization compels me to create a female protagonist as close enough to myself as I possibly can---albeit a bit easier on the eyes. Only for the first play-through, though; after that, fair game.

My male Ryder will be modeled off of Cillian Murphy---specifically, during his Scarecrow role for Batman Begins. Bro Ryder will probably be sculpted the same.
