I used vpn for ME3 and DAI on origin, it worked fine and they never gave me shit about it. The only problem EA has with VPN usage is people buying the game cheaper in the Origin store of another country (like Brazil) iirc. Thing about that is: How can they prove that I am not on a laptop in that country (unless you destination hop and are there one second and back home a few minutes later) or is it forbidden to buy games in the local Origin-Store when you are in another country? (for all they know you might be staying there a while because say your company "deported" you there to work with some of the locals there etc.) Still, I will not try that! Thanks by the way (VPN in Thailand works fine, 20th it is  - did this for ME3 (sadly, so I was disappointed earlier than I would have been otherwise!) and Dragon Age: Inquisition, too (again: Earlier disappointment!)) for clearing up when you can start playing exactly (I've been looking for an exact time and date all over the damn place - reddit was especially unhelpful this time around!) greetings LAX |

Let me get this correct, if I do this with the VPN, the date it gets unlocked changes to the 20th. But when I want to play it on Monday, I need to use the VPN again to download the first patch right and then I can play? This will be golrious.  |

what they DO care about is if you use VPN to BUY stuff for cheaper from other countries.

Does anyone have a step by step guide for how to do this on the ps4? I've already preordered it. I cant seem to figure out how to do it. Edit: Nevermind, I figured it out  VPN set up on the psn dns servers and then a timezone change and voila! Choose a free trial vpn provider and you're good to go |

Avast has 7 day trial for SecureLine VPN, I connected to China or Singapore and now my date is 20th 5pm EET
It was super easy, I had avast antivirus already so I went to Privacy and clicked Secureline, then I chose 7 day trial and where do I want to connect and pressed connect and done!
I recommend to use programs that are known and "official", I read that F-secure and Kaspersky has similar service.

Is that GMT0 time or Korea time ? Using Avast too, si probably gonna try do it like you There is no Korean location for Avast Secureline instead I use Singapore or China both have same and Origin tells me 20th 5pm EET (My timezone) Time when you will get it depends on where you live. |
