But don't buy the game while using VPN!

Both you and EA can get into legal trouble, because you don't pay VAT tax through that method. Best case scenario would be just termination of your Origin account, the worst case you might get criminally charged for tax evasion in your country.

Great, i think Hong Kong was an option. And I might just need to try at least one mp match then and see how that works out. I can always rage quit if it gets too laggy.

Expressvpn.com, been using them for years. Their Android app is really nice too, I never connect to public wifi without it.

Someone posted it in another thread but i can't find it now, but EA have officially answered his question on their support question thing stating they full allow anyone using the VPN to unlock it early, they wont however provide technical support for multiplayer until its official release.

They don't make an exception, it probably means the game gets an unofficial delay while they ship the game globally waiting for every country to have the copies before then releasing the game. The downside to this is it means a lot of stores will have the game even a week before it releases which means your running the risk of some copies going missing and then being streamed.

Unsure. But CD Projekt Red is in fact a European developer, so things have to be shipped to the States rather than the reverse, I would assume. Maybe some publishers plan better when managing distribution issues than others.

The whole reason for releasing at different dates is due to "stocking" laws. In Europe its later at the week to prevent people from skipping work (its abit dumb in the digital age) This is why some games are released Friday on global releases instead.

Personally I don't mind to wait the two days I as wrote before. I wont have much time anyway and I will play a much more "bug" free game than those that go into it right away

There are two release dates for Mass Effect: Andromeda. More on that particular wrinkle down below, but the first applies to Canada, Latin America (except Brazil), Mexico, Russia, South East Asia and the USA. It will go live at:

ART: 1am, March 21

Those of you railing against the injustice of digital oceans might be interested to know that it's possible to use a VPN to authorize your installation during the US release period, with a Korean server providing the earliest possible access. This has worked in the past for various other Origin releases.

- Type of action (connect or disconnect)

- Raw IP address and hostname of the source VPN client computer

- Type of VPN protocols (SSL-VPN, L2TP, OpenVPN or SSTP)

- VPN client software-name, version and ID (if available)

- Number of packets and bytes during a VPN connection, and debug information of communication errors
