I know  It rubbed me the wrong way to lose loyalty in ME2, so I want to fix those, plus I don't like some aspects of the default world state for ME1, so I will play in order to get those things right. I won't do a NG+ at this time, because I want to do a run of the entire trilogy first. Another convert! Congrats on finishing the game. Despite all the flaws, it's really a lot of fun and an excellent ride. Now, I know you are all about Garrus....and I can't really blame you 'cause, well, so am I....but the Kaidan romance is pretty good too. For male Shep I think my favorite is Tali, but I haven't played Jack's romance in 3 yet.

Maybe one day I'll try Kaidan, but Laura Shepard's "perfect" world state with all three games (and Garrus) will come first. Liara will probably come before Kaidan, too. I might actually go for him with a male Shepard, if that's possible. I'll probably start ME1 in a couple of weeks, because I need to "forget" ME 2 and ME3 a bit, I think. Otherwise it might feel like a slog to go through them, and I don't want that. |

You can romance Kaidan with male Shep in 3 only, unless you do some creative save editing/modding in 1.

So if you wanted to romance Liara in ME1 and ME2 (but Lair of the Shadow Broker DLC required for ME2) and switch to Kaidan in ME3, that's possible. |
