MEA male-to-female player ratio?

I don't understand 

Are you wondering about which one of the two siblings people are gonna play? In that case you have this poll:

190 votes for Sara, 170 for Scott. The interest is pretty similar for one sibling and the other, pretty similar to 50/50 ratio (55/45 maybe?)


However, if you are wondering about how many women will play MEA you should make another poll 

If Mass Effect is a traditionally male oriented game or not is irrelevant regarding to which sibling you play with. Some men prefer to play with female protagonist, some women prefer to play with a male protagonist
In addition, I don't think the data provided by Bioware in 2012 are a good reflection of Mass Effect fanbase now, five years later. 

So... make a poll AND LET THE GAME NUMBERS BEGIIIIN!!!

Charcter statistic may not the same number to player statistic. Since someone like to play both male and female and many gamer play More than one Shepard.

300 quarians (female only)
20 female Volus
43 Krogan (all male)
1 Vorcha (female, her name is ARRRRGGGG and she is pretty chill when she is not shooting)

everyone who plays video games is either a guy or a G.I.R.L. (= Guy In Real Life). and that includes terrible games like mass effect

All I know is, given what I've seen from past polls for Mass Effect and Dragon Age, the BSN tends to favor playing as female characters. I remember Femshep would absolutely smoke Broshep in the polls consistently back in the day, but when Bioware released actual statistics for the male/female ratio, it wasn't even close. Male Shepard was the most played gender, by a wide ass margin.
