Not this time. Atlas pulled me around the corner of win with like 40 seconds left. PC magic allows me to be on the UR grind at this point so I'm set. I got to practice pizza running too with this run. Good stuff, but I'm not ready for gold yet. Another day or two of solid PC play and I'll probably be ready.
Side note in case any y'all was wondering, the Venom is better on PC than it is on Xbox...and it's damn good on Xbox.

How do mods interfere with your challenge attempts? As long as you don't use forbidden ones you should be fine. Correct me anyone if I'm wrong, but you could install ModManager, aply the fix and forget about MM.

Well fuck me. Also had a look myself, and... *shrug* Don't know where i got it. I really need to read the rules right. Luckily i seem to fail on the more restrictions side of the things so only make matters more difficult for myself. still can't get over the layout for the pullups and 5 grabs medals...
Anyways, not much of an issue here. If anythin puts me on the level ground with the lot who completed the series in the pre-modding days and is for my own consciousness to know that no mods are at play.

Tbh I had to check because I swore there was no modding too. It doesn't matter anyway for Xbox since no modding there; though I can sort of run with the pizza, but not nearly as easily as on PC.

I made a mod for the N7 Challenges. It is essentially vanilla, just has some mixins.
I was pretty sure that objective modding was against the rules, as I made this mod for the purpose of doing the challenges with all of the bullshit fun challenge of Targets and Devices on solo missions. Because it was a requirement.
If it isn't, doesn't matter now. If I complete these, it will be according to that understanding of the rules even if it is wrong. I'm stubborn like that.

What would be a good way To describe my yesterday's N7.1 forays? Well how about, "A waste of perfectly good consumables"? Yep, that sounds about right
...the best attempt saw me through to W8. and in the hindsight i really should have called it right after the w6 credits. i honeslty haven't had done a w6 escort this poorly in quite a while. burnt through 3 gels alone as well as a handful of opses, just by being stupid and off the game. and the next wave which should have brought bit of a relieve instead saw a similarly dismal performance on my part. so with the w8 rolling on, with a single gel left, quite disgusted made sure to pay some carebears back in kindness while my rockets lasted and proceeded to bleed out...

too bad to loose gels being aggressive on an escort ! maybe u should aim for 10ws, just in order to have a few gels left for w10 device

w10 devices, eh? a few gels and plenty of lube is more like it
EDIT: I guess I should say how this went. I got dropped wave 2, whatever, I get 5ws from 3-8. Wave 3 escort, wave 6 pizza so great objectives so far. I go into wave 9 with 2 ops, and 5 gels so I should have this in the bag. Well a shitty wave 9 leaves me with 0 ops, 0 gel, 1 thermal clip, and 1 missile going into wave 10. Get an easy escort for wave 10 (ofc I finally get great objectives and blow it). A clean up missile later and 3 phantoms and an Atlas are out of the way and I finish wave 10 with no issue. I didn't get to the basement quick enough and the spawns are fucked. I run from basement through EZ where there are some Phantoms and got stuck on the corner and got unceremoniously killed, then stomped by a Dragoon. After, I realize I didn't have 75 SMG kills medal and would've been even more pissed off had I extracted without it.

Nothing much to write home about it here... I'll need to check what objectives I pulled, my mind clearly was elsewhere, cause I can't recall what they were already. Got to wave 11 with no ops packs left, thought if i'd die during extraction wave i'll shitpost about it here. but then had an anxiety attack, could not remember what was required, the 10WS medal or zero death. So started running around the map shitting bricks all around. i nthe end got a bit early to LZ, got surrounded, and shield gated as the counter reached to 0:00
and it's only been, like 6 months, or so too! Sheesh!
