Objective: finish the N7 challenges!

Reading this thread makes me want to solo, but the inherent memleak in a lot of those challenges (Collectors on Goddess comes to mind) turns me off themed challenges. It's quite obvious going through most themed challenge lists that PS3 was NOT considered in the pairings.

I like soloing (even when failing) for the challenge of it, and I like the feel of having more control of the game than I do with PUGs (I honestly feel PUG matches are harder than solos most of the time).

Also, when my wife asks about Incendiary vs Disruptor, I like to point out Tech Bursts vs Fire Explosions. Tech Bursts (and Disruptor Ammo in general) are great for Crowd Control whilst Fire Explosions (and Incendiary Ammo) tend to do more damage to singular enemies. As to the BF3 Soldier with Revenant or Katana vs Reapers on Rio, I'd have to say speccing for 6+6 FEs with a Power Amp and Disruptor, Warp, or Phasic (Specifically for Banshee barriers) would be the way to go. Revenant vs Katana is a pretty tough question on Rio, Revenant in Hard Cover is actually pretty decent at range, but the slowdown cripples you in close quarters, and I find Rio plays best when fighting in close quarters using lots of soft cover, because the open sightlines are just huge (And unless sniping, even Reapers have the advantage in the open).

So, eventhough I haven't done it myself (so feel free to ignore this), my short recommendation would be Power Amp, 6 in Carnage and Frags (spec the rest to personal preference) with a Katana and either Warp Ammo for general damage, or Phasic specifically for Banshees (Usually for shotguns I'd recommend Disruptor Ammo, but vs Reapers, Banshee Barriers really are the only impediment to an armour damage kit like BF3).
